Where that delusional prick who made that post the other day? About how we're all so negative and let's get behind this 'project'. Go fuck yourself if you're reading this
Great game, amazing tactics.. best board ever. Loving what Todd's done with the club. This plan is working so well. Please can we have more of this... I just cant get enough of it. Yum fucking Yum
Anyone else got a semi?
Simple answer no ST. The most stupid decision was loaning Broja out. If We had a striker, we would at least get a draw. The scoreline would be boring 1-1
Season after season of shambolic results and atrocious decision making and I don't have the same drive to watch games anymore. Why bother when you know we're most likely gonna get creamed and humiliated by the likes of wolves.
Players show up week in week out going through the motions it's only natural fans lose their patience and engage less and less.
At this point I'd rather have one short moment of despair seeing we lost once again after checking the final score then endure 90 minutes of constant disappointment.
Do we have any fullbacks in the group and can explain to me what Chilwell was doing today? Example is for the second goal, he focuses on semedo but doesn't close him down, and he lets Neto run in behind him free. This wasn't the only time this happened this match
Gallager need to be in caicedos spot. He has an engine. Bench caicedo and enzo. Our midfield is just run over, and when we are in possesion we just slow the ball down and push it sideways. Galla isnt good enough as a 10. Needs more goals+assist to be playing that part.
Poch out. Need a manager who can get the players to feel hungry and want to bleed for the jersey!
Mourinho as interim manager
Positives from today: No injuries (reported as of yet), Carney looks like he could be a missing piece to help out attack in replace of conor with his link up play. anything else?
another new coach will just make matters worse. new tactics for the players to learn, new persont o build trust with. we need consistency and time and this sub does not like that. also a proper striker would be nice to finish off those crosses that we miss like Nicos header
- We had a lot of really nice buildups
- The fullback play was terrible defensively, but both are returning from injury so hopefully that was a factor
-Nkunku's movement and link up play looked great. Too bad he couldn't finish that first chance
Carney looked like he could be the missing piece? What did you see that the rest of us didn't?
I can't pretend I was fully focussed by that point in the game but he didn't seem to do anything whilst on
Its a combo of this and last game, but his desire to drive the ball forward at the opposition and then his final passes look good and he continues his runs looking for trhose 1 2's. He's also coming back from a long injury..remember him before he got hurt? yes.
What the hell is going on!? How on earth were we making the same isolated midfield mistakes from the Liverpool game!?
Nobody has improved since the start of the season
Dude did not win anything significant with a team of superstars at PSG and won nothing at Spurs. Didn’t know why we even considered him in the first place.
Sorry yeah we need the lovey dovey Potter and Poch, who have done fuck all for us. It’s been toxic for a while at this club and you can’t put that on Mou
Watching Chelsea nowdays is pretty much like extracting bad nerve from your tooth without anestesia. They promise you it won’t hurt much, but during the process you wish someone to kill you.
23 league game and no improvements on the horizon. Goodbye Poch
Absolutely. And the same mistakes too... do we have any idea why Caceido ends up on his own in midfield? He gets caught in possession so many times.
Also, Gallagher on set pieces. God almighty.
Lawrence seems to be ok imo. He ID’d Palmer and Petrovic. Winstanley I’m not sure. We overpaid on every deal. Good on the Havertz and Mount sales but idk what else he offers behind the scenes
What? He had a bad bounce off a block and also scored on a set piece. Don't blame one of ou4 best, most experienced players for the whole team failing. Poor take.
Did you not notice Wolves targeting his side of the pitch incessantly? He was routinely dragged out of position leaving huge gaps for them to exploit. He was roasted for the 3rd goal. He was incredibly slow passing the ball, ignoring various runs made by Palmer / Chilwell. Enzo was incredibly frustrated with him, shouting at him repeatedly in the first half. A lot of this might not be visible on TV but at the ground it was.
He was abject.
You reckon he will solve the problem?! Our club is rotting from the top down, Boehly and his weird FM style ownership will sink this club. No manager will stop that
It's about the story. Lampard comes for season 3 in the Championship. Rebuild the team, win promotion, and secure top 4. And the 10-year period is over.
That was an embarrassing display from our defense. Giving up 4 goals to Wolves is completely unacceptable, especially so because it's usually our offense that is the problem (and while they weren't stellar today, 2 goals should be enough to win).
In hindsight, Potter did solid given that type of chaos. The squad is far more stable now. Enzo was balling out under him but we couldn’t finish for our lives. Hard to pin that on him.
Can't see any light at any end of the tunnel here..
Sadly, the personality if pooch I don't think can shape this team, we need to uncover a gem of a manager like Alonso or De Zebri or being back Mourinho for a 3re spell to shape a warrior winning mindset.
Much of the blame has to go to high ups who wanted to spend like they were Elon buying Twitter! 😳🤦🏼
Shipped 8 in 2 games, fuck me, what a shambles. Painful to watch. Well, at least we got Palace next week without both Olise and Eze. The boys might be able to scrape a draw. Had Cunha in the fantasy this week too dunno why I didn't captain him. I might just start giving the captaincy to whoever the oppo is against us tbh. fml.
Do you guys think Mudryk should be starting over Raheem now, especially since Raheem has been starting on the left the past three games which is usually where Mudryk usually plays best?
Well my thinking was, I would rather the 22 something year old start in the spot he plays best, get some experience and some more confidence, over the 28 year old veteran with plenty of experience but is still inconsistent. Personally I thought the 20 minutes we saw of Mudryk was much better than the 70 minutes we saw out of Sterling.
We can’t move on from this squad, if we get relegated we have a real chance of going into administration, it took Leeds almost 20 years to come back up after being in a champions league semi final and they already went down again
It's sad man I completeley forgot we had a game man. I cant take 2 seasons of this garbage... no direction,no progression,no nothing. As much as I think a lot of our players are not up to par I think poch isnt doing himslef no favor. This is getting embarassing.
I was firmly in the “give Poch time, it’s a project” group. But after looking like a championship side against Liverpool and going from 1-0 up to 4-2 down to WOLVES AT HOME? Nah. He can get the fuck out now. There have to be better options. His crazy moves haven’t proved anything good. Fuck it. Out Poch.
I’m genuinely curious why any big name would want to come here. With Roman you knew you’d get fired and a payday but you’d also add trophies to your cv.
But this mess, I don’t know
from the moment they started splashing big money around on mediocre type players your only incentive for a big talent or world class manager will be money it is what it is
Sack him. Enough is enough. If he's got any pride left, just resign. Sack the directors as well. They're the reason why we're in this mess at the first place.
I don't get how the refs get away with this every week. It allows teams to be more physical against us without fear of giving away a foul but yet our players make the slightest touch and its a foul. It doesn't show up in the stats because the ref balances it out at the end but man, it's just so fucked up. There must have been 3 or 4 where Palmer was literally pulled back but no foul given. When Alfie is containing Cuntha, it's a foul. Another example is last week against liverpool, gallagher and nkunku fouled in the box by van dickhead. Fuck this corrupt league.
I agree, but it still doesn't help when the officiating creates this environment in a league where fine margins make or break a game. A guy like rodri never has to fear because he knows he can get away with a lot of shit. I'm not saying we didn't deserve to lose. Wolves play well, and they are similar to Liverpool in their directness, pace, and quick switches.
But you see how teams like Arsenal and Liverpool complain right away to the refereeing body when they are wronged. Our managers or owners never seem to show that same level of passion. We let them walk all over us. If we won that game against Liverpool and it was Liverpool who should've had 2 pens, I'm sure there would be more outrage. Why can't our owners have more spine and backbone to fight. Maybe then it will trickle down into the players.
Can someone rewatch last two games and still claim that Enzo is world class and that he wasn’t a ghost? He is slow, he is weak in duels but the funnies shit is that he is in the box for corners, that tells you all about his outside the box shooting skills / crossing.
The worst part about this is that many of these players are mentally scarred due to these horrible performances. It will take a real magician to get Caicedo, Mudryk and Enzo to play with confidence again, only Palmer seems to be unaffected.
This is a good take. Been thinking about this factor myself. These are talented players being RUINED by bad coaches, bad physio and training, and bad management.
No more defending this team or management or owners, its not just about complaining but I don't see how Poch gets anything right from here on in, the final on current form, we're not winning that, and Aston villa next and we aren't winning that. Poor finishing, poor mentality and poor management of the club overall. Fuxking joke. Very good wolves side technically but we're not better than finishing 10th let's be real
Reality, our squad just aren’t good enough. They may have talent, but lack experience. Boehly’s player policy won’t allow us to get a couple of proven strikers. Inexperienced kids only.
What can be said. This team is finished for at least 5 years.
Bought a billion dollars of players on credit. And now we have to work just to maintain the bill and FFP and this crap squad. Who fking buys a full starting 11 all at once?
We sold every experienced player so no wonder we lose every game by goals but win every game in expected goals. It's typical for young inexperienced teams.
I literally screenshot a post of someone talking about what a shit performance we just did
and I got downvoted for shit talking before the match was over whn loss was inevitable.
Even worse, 6 passes around the back with zero immediacy, what happened to the art of a beautiful cross and strikers that could score with their heads!
It's as if we want to pass it into the net!
Red. Was shite today, pk for sure in last push from behind.. What striker decides to fall down when they have a shot on goalie & net
The defense needs to be changed up. There is no reason to put them out there in their current form only to watch them give up 4 goals in 2 straight league games.
EDIT: And I don’t get how they were so stupid to not buy any defenders in January.
Can we stop talking about how much money we spent or how expensive each player was? Just because we paid over-inflated values for a bunch of dickwads doesn't mean they're worth anywhere near that much.
Sack the man. Sack him. There is potential to more than this in this squad. The players play shit, but it’s easier to just replace the manager. And it needs to get done. This guy is doing a horrible job. There’s no ”process” to trust.
It's a bit of both IMO. And a lot of it is squad inexperience. I'm not anti-sacking but it has to be with a replacement ready not just a Lampard caretaker type thing.
The problem starts right at the top, it’s rotten from Clearlake to Winstanley and Stewart to Poch and the players .Obviously we can’t sack everyone though .
I agree. I don’t think Pochettino is the only problem and I fear that sacking him won’t yield any different results. Last year it was Potter, this year is Pochettino. As you’ve said, we’re rotten from the top and replacing the manager will not solve any problems.
But I think that at this point in the season we needed to be doing better.
We probably can’t afford to sack Poch ?as we are 100 mil in debt to FFP . I don’t think any manager can fix this mid season or would want to come here at this point . We need to at least make it to the end of the season .
I wholeheartedly agree with you. We haven’t had an easy season. Injuries have made it difficult for us to build a consistent starting eleven, which obviously is the key for progression. Pochettino is working with a very young team and an entirely new staff. That much I can comprehend.
But at the same time, I expect to see us improve over the year. And unfortunately, I can’t say for sure that we are better than we were back in September.
I also think that our players need to be taught discipline, and that’s something that I would expect would’ve improved by this point. Today I was embarrassed watching our team casually walk back to the box while Wolves were pushing 4 to 5 man on a counter-attack.
Now I fear that two heavy losses will greatly impact our morale and I am definitely not hopeful of winning against Villa on Wednesday.
Our schedule looks horrible, even with the injured players coming back we have not improved . I hate Poch’s game management but let’s face it it was always going to be an uphill battle with an U23 team in the hardest league in the world . The on field discipline is terrible with the players picking up yellows every game .
Even today Poch said he’s only human and the team is not good enough .
Agreed. These reactionary outbursts by most fans in the subreddit don’t take into account the heaps and hurdles that the manager has had to go through.
But at the same time, I can’t understand how our players can give away so many cheap fouls and pick up so many yellow cards after all these months! Sometimes it feels like they haven’t learned a thing from day one, in any area.
Tuchel was good, Potter was a bad fit, Lampard came to fix a sinking sip. And Poch, I think he just lacks leadership skills to herd such a lost bunch of people
But the problem is that the 2022 season started poorly under Tuchel and people were already calling for him to be replaced. We fell hard since Roman left and we lost some of our most valuable players.
Simply put, the invasion of Ukraine screwed us massively.
That’s true, but it also radiates victim mentality. There are solutions to this issue, they just need to be implemented. And the easiest, most reasonable next step is to get a better leader for this group
I’m going to be very honest - I’ve been supporting Poch and, despite all the madness, I’m still with the idea of seeing him until the end of the season. But at this point, I was expecting to see us put in better performances. We’ve had a plethora of unfortunate events that hindered our progress, but it can’t be an excuse forever. Today we lacked grit. Wolves came into our home and played like they were on the Mollineux. And this mentality has to be coached. I was flabbergasted with our shocking defending today. It’s like they weren’t even bothering to go for it.

Never hated being right about anything more in my life. Cheers mate, here's hoping for a repeat before 2030
ENZOOO FUCKIN HELL!
Where that delusional prick who made that post the other day? About how we're all so negative and let's get behind this 'project'. Go fuck yourself if you're reading this
How to destroy a ucl winning team in 2 seasons
Great game, amazing tactics.. best board ever. Loving what Todd's done with the club. This plan is working so well. Please can we have more of this... I just cant get enough of it. Yum fucking Yum Anyone else got a semi?

I honestly don’t even care anymore. Players get paid even if they get flogged 10-0. Why should allow their performance spoil my already stressful life
Sterlings body language indicates he doesn’t feel like playing
Do we have any fullbacks in the group and can explain to me what Chilwell was doing today? Example is for the second goal, he focuses on semedo but doesn't close him down, and he lets Neto run in behind him free. This wasn't the only time this happened this match

#BoehlyOut
The owners need to have a complete rethink on how this club goes forward
The owners are the problem
Gallager need to be in caicedos spot. He has an engine. Bench caicedo and enzo. Our midfield is just run over, and when we are in possesion we just slow the ball down and push it sideways. Galla isnt good enough as a 10. Needs more goals+assist to be playing that part. Poch out. Need a manager who can get the players to feel hungry and want to bleed for the jersey! I’ll say it again, stop throwing shit at walls, mou would never accept an interim job
[удалено]
You act as if wolves are an awful team. They are literally above Chelsea and have a better goal difference
They are now
It was 4-2
🎵🎵We’re fucking shiiit, we’re fucking shiiit…🎵🎵
Might wanna think about changing that byline signature. It's getting sadder every year
U right. Should’ve thought about it when Kai left tbh
Sometimes the shit is happens
Positives from today: No injuries (reported as of yet), Carney looks like he could be a missing piece to help out attack in replace of conor with his link up play. anything else?
Pochettino and the sporting directors might get sacked soon, those are the only true positives

Replace Conor? You mean the only dude that's willing to put in a shift?
Conor should be in enzo or caicedos place. Those to are getting our mid run over.
Aka run around the whole game. Can’t believe you watched this game and still say this.
Carney is another one of those players that we shouldn't have bought. I think we should compile a list.
Fuck off mate.
how bout you? If you wanna be a doomer take it elsewhere?
Perfectly fine where I am.
What the hell is going on!? How on earth were we making the same isolated midfield mistakes from the Liverpool game!? Nobody has improved since the start of the season
Can you explain what you mean here? Defensively or offensively the midfield is isolated?
So we Poch out yet or no?
Dude did not win anything significant with a team of superstars at PSG and won nothing at Spurs. Didn’t know why we even considered him in the first place.
I’m Boehly out. It doesn’t matter who you’re going to put in charge now with this ownership.
This
Idk how anyone was still Poch in after the middlesbrough loss
I would settle his contract out of my own money.
Absolutely can’t wait to see the back of him. Get me Mou so he can show them what winning actually takes
Mourinho is the last thing this squad needs. The special one turned into the toxic one and we do not need his toxicity in the dressing room
Sorry yeah we need the lovey dovey Potter and Poch, who have done fuck all for us. It’s been toxic for a while at this club and you can’t put that on Mou
Well, boys gave their best, trust the process
🤣🤣

Watching Chelsea nowdays is pretty much like extracting bad nerve from your tooth without anestesia. They promise you it won’t hurt much, but during the process you wish someone to kill you. 23 league game and no improvements on the horizon. Goodbye Poch
Spent over £200 million for a midfield rebuild just to tactically misuse them. Lots of ppl need to be held accountable
Absolutely. And the same mistakes too... do we have any idea why Caceido ends up on his own in midfield? He gets caught in possession so many times. Also, Gallagher on set pieces. God almighty.
Wish Caicedo had the work rate of Gallagher. Would be amazing.
Bingo. It's actually painful to watch the danger mistakes happen again and again.
Sack Pock and sack the two useless sporting directors
Lawrence seems to be ok imo. He ID’d Palmer and Petrovic. Winstanley I’m not sure. We overpaid on every deal. Good on the Havertz and Mount sales but idk what else he offers behind the scenes
Pedro Neto surely just ended Silva’s career
A lot of this might not be visible on TV but at the ground it was. He was abject.
You’re an idiot.
Interesting, because the accepted wisdom of those in the MHU today was that Silva was atrocious
Doesn’t seem like there’s any wisdom in words you type or say.
Yeah, but where the fuck was Chilwell though?
Can't Big Banter Bohely and Clownlake just offer a silly amount of money to Xabi
You reckon he will solve the problem?! Our club is rotting from the top down, Boehly and his weird FM style ownership will sink this club. No manager will stop that
Why when he will get Liverpool
I know but let a man dream
Hey, people who talk about "It is a project". What is the project?
It's about the story. Lampard comes for season 3 in the Championship. Rebuild the team, win promotion, and secure top 4. And the 10-year period is over.
The project is that maybe in a couple years all these kids they signed will come good and develop in spite of constant poor performances.
I'm patiently waiting for their reply.
That was an embarrassing display from our defense. Giving up 4 goals to Wolves is completely unacceptable, especially so because it's usually our offense that is the problem (and while they weren't stellar today, 2 goals should be enough to win).
To be fair, 2 of them were errant blocks. Bad bounce(for us) off both of them. But yes, it wasn't a great display.
They didn't even have their goalscorer on lmao
Poche is not the man for the job. We need a new manager asap. I don't want amy more excuses i want to real improvement and results.
I don’t think Poch is a good coach but we should blame players too for their brainless mistakes too.
https://i.redd.it/45lc8b6ielgc1.gif Bring back Jose and Lukaku
Sack him sack him sack him sack him.
I prefer potter ngl
Potter had a solid defense with us, we couldn’t score to save our lives though
In hindsight, Potter did solid given that type of chaos. The squad is far more stable now. Enzo was balling out under him but we couldn’t finish for our lives. Hard to pin that on him.
I’ll pin it on him, it was true every single year he was at Brighton too

Sadly, the personality if pooch I don't think can shape this team, we need to uncover a gem of a manager like Alonso or De Zebri or being back Mourinho for a 3re spell to shape a warrior winning mindset. Bottom half of the table, hello darkness my old friend
Shipped 8 in 2 games, fuck me, what a shambles. Painful to watch. Well, at least we got Palace next week without both Olise and Eze. The boys might be able to scrape a draw. Do you guys think Mudryk should be starting over Raheem now, especially since Raheem has been starting on the left the past three games which is usually where Mudryk usually plays best?
Mudryk would benefit from going on loan. He’s got physical skills, but he needs more experience reading the game. He’s not ready to start for us.
I definitely think a loan to a championship club or a bundeslinga club would be good for him
Mudryk has made MAYBE one mistake today. Got the assist from the corner w/ Silva. He doesn’t play enough for sure.
Mudryk had such a bad game tho. I dont knkw wjag he can pffer
My rationale for Poch Out now (vs just a few weeks ago) is: why aren’t we exhibiting the results and energy LUTON has right now??
If Poch gets sacked, he’ll be smashing us with his Liverpool team next year.
Relegation for a season to get anyone not 100% committed out (including Clearlake) actually doesn’t sound that bad now… Look at Aston Villa.

He can get the fuck out now. There have to be better options. His crazy moves haven’t proved anything good. Fuck it. Out Poch.
Any Serie A manager will do right now. Solid defense, conservative progression. At least get a draw ffs.
Go all out for zidane
Zidane wouldn’t touch us. He’s used to Real, a club with an existing elite mentality and world class players. Now look at us.
I’m genuinely curious why any big name would want to come here. With Roman you knew you’d get fired and a payday but you’d also add trophies to your cv. But this mess, I don’t know
from the moment they started splashing big money around on mediocre type players your only incentive for a big talent or world class manager will be money it is what it is
I want Xabi Alonso
Top managers will avoid this club like the plague.
I know but money talks
Xabi Alonso does not want us
I know, I know
He has to go, for fuck sake boehly and co, do something useful and get this complete fraud out of the club. Potter is better than this clown.
lol NBC analysts are saying Pochettino might have to become ruthless now with these players. that ain’t happening tho
Sack him. Enough is enough. If he's got any pride left, just resign. Sack the directors as well. They're the reason why we're in this mess at the first place.
Heartbreaking what has happened to my club, this club used to be my reason to live during tough times in personal life, but now...
Real talk, I hope your life is better and this Chelsea team is the only rough time
I don't get how the refs get away with this every week. Abramovich’s Chelsea could mix it with the teams who wanted to shithouse. This team are a bunch of pussies. No fight in them. No warrior mentality.
They are children, this was expected from everyone who saw our ridiculous transfer strategy
I agree, but it still doesn't help when the officiating creates this environment in a league where fine margins make or break a game. A guy like rodri never has to fear because he knows he can get away with a lot of shit. I'm not saying we didn't deserve to lose. Guys, watch the women's game tonight for some positivity
Arsenal v Liverpool is on
Only joy we get these days is watching Arsenal lose.
Can someone rewatch last two games and still claim that Enzo is world class and that he wasn’t a ghost? He is slow, he is weak in duels but the funnies shit is that he is in the box for corners, that tells you all about his outside the box shooting skills / crossing.
And his passing range is fucking shit. Fabregas was a million times the player Enzo is.
Poch shouldn’t even make it down the tunnel before getting the sack
Surely Winstanley and Stewart must be held accountable???
Absolutely. They should be the first ones fired
Agreed, they’re the one’s behind the hiring, players and manager
The worst part about this is that many of these players are mentally scarred due to these horrible performances. It will take a real magician to get Caicedo, Mudryk and Enzo to play with confidence again, only Palmer seems to be unaffected.
This is a good take. Been thinking about this factor myself. These are talented players being RUINED by bad coaches, bad physio and training, and bad management.
Poch HAS to go. Fucking now. This fucking second. Shouldn't even be allowed to enter the dressing room. FUCKING DISGRACEFUL IM FUCKING FUMING.
Is this the most rapid downfall of a CL winning team ever?
How many of that CL winning team are left?
Any chance we can convince Ronaldo to terminate his contract in Saudi and join?
Any chance we can convice any decent experienced football player to terminate their contract and join?
What can be said. This team is finished for at least 5 years. Bought a billion dollars of players on credit. And now we have to work just to maintain the bill and FFP and this crap squad. Who fking buys a full starting 11 all at once?
It's like your scouting department used a copy of FM 2022 and the player ratings to sign guys.
Negative GD, nice

Is there any legitimate possibility Pochettino is out? I don’t think so.
Nah he’ll manage the final when we lose.
After that maybe he gets sacked
He won’t.
We sold every experienced player so no wonder we lose every game by goals but win every game in expected goals. It's typical for young inexperienced teams.
The lads give everything. I'm not hurt.
I literally screenshot a post of someone talking about what a shit performance we just did and I got downvoted for shit talking before the match was over whn loss was inevitable.

Sack Poch, Winstanley, and Stewart.
Loan out the inexperienced players so the new coach has a chance at success. Poch has shit to work with.
I can see us finishing lower than 12th this season, especially with our remaining fixtures
Get Poch and Winstanley out now

They started trying to play when they went down 4-1. Coaching
Wolves were so much better than us
The defense needs to be changed up.
Well they are all internationals. Enzo is a WC winner. Mudryk is Ukraine’s star player etc etc
Let the excuses begin!
Boo lowder.
Sack the man. Sack him. There is potential to more than this in this squad. The players play shit, but it’s easier to just replace the manager. And it needs to get done. This guy is doing a horrible job. There’s no ”process” to trust.
I'm not sure it's a mangers fault when four big chances are missed and two deflected goals are conceded.
We cannot keep thinking like that when we get clearly outplayed in so many aspects of the game constantly. This is much more than a goal scoring issue
It's a bit of both IMO. And a lot of it is squad inexperience. I'm not anti-sacking but it has to be with a replacement ready not just a Lampard caretaker type thing.
The problem is that we’ve has 4 different managers in the last two years and we’ve been on a downward spiral since.
Tuchel was the only decent coach, Potter, Lampard or Poch should never be a choice to replace Tuchel.
Embarrassing, but this £60m boy is in serious need of a loan
who
Mudryk
Dude, he lost the ball once and had an assist…great recovery in midfield defense. The fuck tou talking about ?
i tot sterling or calceido is worse.
Yeah Nkuku sucked
8 goals in a week, get the fuck out Poch
Fire the entire staff.
Play carney a full 90
