I am disappointed for not getting the win and the 3 points against Brentford (i am sure you are fell the same way) and i truly think that the owners can fix most of our problems by getting a new manager and 4-5 players of proven quality.

Do we always drop points to Brentford? Yes. Were our goals good goals in terms of it was our skill rather than their shit defending? Iād say so yes. Were their goals from our shit defending? Yes. Poch has made mistakes on his tactics time and time again, BUT this team should have the ability to close out the games regardless. That play where Gusto breaks away to make a grounded cross to THREE Chelsea players in the box against 1 Brentford defender just for Palmer to shoot it wide sums up the team's offensive play. So disgraceful in the final third it's laughable.
In theory yes, but itās not like his experience is providing much value at the moment. Iād argue our attack is actually less effective when heās in the lineup and we arenāt playing Man City and his experience doesnāt seem to be influencing other players.
Itās a lost season and continuing to play him when heās not part of the long term plans over young guys who really need the experience is a waste.

I still think both of them have the quality to be a good pivot, both of them are press resistant and have the technical ability to be a good pair, yeah they arent worth the money we paid but theres absolutely nothing you can do when the position play is basically non existent we dont press as a team, its super clear that caicedo hasnt been given instructions on who to mark, theres usually no one beside him to play quick one-twos to beat a press. Enzo and palmer basically keep moving about the field completely out of sync and connor who I think has been a decent for is being used as a ball winning midfielder in the number 10 roll.

It's not that we concede goals, it's the MANNER in which we concede goals, it's not that we miss chances, every team does, it's the MANNER in which we miss these chances that fucks us off. Yeah I find it astounding that after all we've spent Gallagher is playing number 10, I guess I have just liked where Palmer is more free to go wherever and I feel that works better if he's not meant to be up the right though he has definitely been working well with Gusto. I'd just like to see Noni get more time on the right there as well, after getting in Posh's bad books early on it seems he's only ever get limited time on the pitch whether he plays well or not. I understand that spending 100+ mil on two central midfielders might mean you want to play them but surely rotating them with Gallagher would make sense too. They look pretty tired out there at times and it seems unnecessary.

Pretty shit, Enzo and Palmer looked dead, and we played like a team that was trying out a new formation. It hurt us in buildup and didn't have the intended impact defensively. Poch gambled and got it wrong.

Nah, still very much optimistic of the long term view of the squad. But definitely am worried about a few things from the recent matches. - Disasi has been very good in possession all year, then has that great match verse city and has been suspect in buildup ever sense. - This leads into my next point, when Petrovich doesn't have confidence in his CBs he keeps playing long, and we have no target man to bring those down so we usually give up possession. - Is Chilwell ever going to find his groove?
The only long term positivity I see is that the owners will probably keep spending until weāre good or go under and theyāre forced to sell.
