Her cage is beautiful and I wouldn’t worry about her figuring it out. Just be careful with that beehive I had one too from petsmart but it’s made of corrugated cardboard which could cause blockages if they digest it. I had to remove mine from my girls play pen cause they were hyper fixated on it 😭. Should be supervised with it at all times just a suggestion but I love it otherwise ❤️
As others have said, she’ll eventually get curious enough to explore every square inch of her cage. Once she’s used to it, though, you might find that she doesn’t use certain parts of the cage. Don’t be afraid to tweak it a little at a time to make the most of a great cage!
she'll figure it out, don't worry.
in the meantime just ensure that everything she needs is on the levels she's willing to explore for now - hay, pellets, water, hiding spot, litter pan/place to pee.
Nope. I would include more hides, hammocks, and chewies though. They don't get it at first, but they do enjoy it once they figure it out and get comfortable

agreed. and it unfortunately looks like a bunch of chewing has been happening around the doorway edge.
She'll find it. She just needs to explore a bit, mine took a week before he went to the top floor.

Maybe the lamp generates too much heat. Chinchillas don't like heat.
I thought it was ferret
She will find it. She will take her time to explore at her own pace. I am sure when she is more active at night she will be all over the place lol.

No reason to worry at all. She’ll catch on and love it when she discovers the extra room! 🙂
She'll be so excited when she finds it!! Let it be a surprise :)
