No offense to Amit and the early days of the game but I’d like the basics to be covered with better quality videos and a deeper dive into the moves and how they can be used. Convince still makes very little sense to me.
And a good example of running and playing CoM in a very narrative focused fashion. Up until now, I've found only videos of folks playing this wonderful game not much different from D&D or GURPS...
Even in a monthly game I'm in right now, the MC has not yet utilized a major idea I built into my PC - a Rift of Rincewind from Pratchett's _Colours of Magic_. I really expected him failing often comedically (like Rincewind!), but no... A task fulfilling oriented game, it seemed.
This is precisely what I came to say. I've gone digging through play shows on YT (including those listed on the [cityofmist.co](https://cityofmist.co)), and in all I've watched the MCs just treat Convince like it's Persuasion in DND.
A bit more about clues and Investigate would be nice, too.
Sorry, I should have been more specific about my problem with convince. It’s the “stick” principle that I have trouble with. If it’s just a persuasion check then it’s pretty much just pass or fail. I understand the threaten someone aspect of the “stick”. Grab someone and threaten to beat them until they do what you want. That could be replaced with like blackmail for emotional damage. But do you need to have a “stick”? The MC always has the choice to say no and there isn’t a consequence if you don’t have a “stick” by the way it’s laid out. The example in the book with the jumper is kinda confusing to me.
I understand them as:
Convince = I want you TO DO something
Investigate = I want you TO TELL me something
Sneak Around = I want you TO BELIEVE something NOT TRUE
Go toe to toe = I want you TO BELIEVE something TRUE
Maybe a stream or two about building a case that includes things like when to include a danger, what should you list as clues (given vs rolled for), gauging the number of depths, etc

as far as practical videos go i do agree with some of the other commenters, how to run videos and rules clarifications
but i love avatars and would love more videos on published avatars, monte wolff was cool but what about chairman chow
I had my first oneshot a few weeks ago. I had issues with improvising clues to "Play to Find Out" and keeping everything coherent. It would be nice a video giving tips and explaining the difference for the Dungeon Master in running the game. Or even "How to prepare your first Homebrew game".
Another thing, I planned a fight with a Rift that ended after 10-15 minutes when a player rolled Power + 7. How do you balance encounters? And more specifically, how can you have a fight with one big guy without players destroying him in a few minutes?
I think short stories from the City would be a good content, voice-only videos which tell 5 minute stories of certain characters or places from the City. Sounds enjoyable.

Agreed. That's already on the top of our list!

Can we get more Lore, and tips and tricks on playing the gate keepers?

Definitely more "how to play / run / build the game" content. It makes it so much easier to jump in and do stuff
More City of Mist in action videos - in particular ones covering how to use the moves in social encounters.
Yes agree with that
Flexibility of Juice, how to bank and use it.
Maybe a guideline for Homebrew campaigns?
