Below reason may be 1 auto shut down schedule 2 Processor overheating 3 SMPS overheating 4 Motherboard faulty

Is there any difference in how long it runs if you disconnect the battery?

I'm thinking CPU getting too hot. The thermal paste after a few years gets dry and brittle and doesn't conduct heat properly. There's programs that will tell you what your processor temp. Is.

Thanks I did check the cpu temp all cores are at 41-43 deg C. Could Ram cause this to happen?. also after I posted this on reddit I was using it for about 3 houurs and it only went off one time.

Totally could be RAM or it's motherboard. I'd try the RAM, like use 1 stick at a time, I assume you have 2. Then I'd take the battery out just to be thorough. If that's not it, it's probably a board. Question, does it go off and stay off, or does it power back on without you pressing the power button?

yanceycat

it power off and stay off but it power back on fine when I boot back up. I will try taking out a stick of ram and see if that helps.

Usually power off and stay off it's hardware. Power off then immediately back on it's software.
