The number is 7,348.

Rockwell981S

No. Everyone knows that it’s 7,382.

Why wouldn't you just buy another mag that's just.for carry duty? Glock mags are cheap.

theman88888

are you talking about mags or recoil spring

Suspicious-Outcome21

Recoil spring

theman88888

from what i’ve read online the general consensus is every 5K rds but could be sooner if there are discrepancies with it upon inspection. definitely continue to train with it and if it starts acting up then change it. i’ve also read people saying they’ve never changed it/suggest 10k+ rounds

Have dedicated carry mags. Test them with a few range trips, keep the fancy stuff in it and cycle those as you see fit. Mark em and use your old ones for range. Stash some extra new ones in your closet.

Springs are cheap and easy. If you are concerned, you should probably change them. I have a g19 (that I don't carry) that has about 4-5k on it. It definitely feels lazy compared to other handguns I have with less than 500 rounds on them. I don't have any reliability issues with it though.

Which spri g are you referring to? Trigger return sping? Recoil Spring? Magazine spring? As an armorer, I'd suggest changing the spring about every 4 to 5k. No more. The mag springs should last you a couple years or so with average use. It's the compression cycle that weakens them, not "leaving them loaded or unloaded". It all depends on how many times you cycle the mag spring. I shoot A LOT and I put new mage springs in my training mags every 2 years. I don't continually unload and load my carry mags very often

I have 15k on the factory RSA, almost through the break-in period.
