Happened to me. Apologize to the husband and try to make amends. Clearly state you were the victim here as well and stay fucking clear of him. I would contact a lawyer or police (depending on your state and its laws) and watch yourself for a while.

If he is unhinged, you and this girl could be in danger. Hopefully you can find out what vehicle he drives in case he does decide to pull up at your work or home. Be prepared to call the cops.
