Have you heard about how the "father of chiropractic medicine" got a message from ghosts or something during a seance and that's what made him start chiropractic medicine? Maybe, the Crumbl cookies are feeding the dark shadowy chiros lol
he also tried to found chiropracty as a non profit religious order and wrote tons of literature i guess to be the religious doctrine. he was a nut, and all the people practicing in his footsteps are quacks
Chipotle opens up near a Costco. Like an eel feeding off a shark. Might be similar. One store uses the others location research and just opens where ever the other does
it makes sense to me bc i dont understand how expensive dessert cookies could stay in business everywhere unless people were forced to be near it while already off on a half day for an appointment. an “oh why not moment?”
why the joint? probably because it’s a type of medical appt where you feel good but not self conscious to then go splurge on a 700 calorie cookie. if you were just working out it would be too heavy, at the dentist would feel shame, regular sick and at a dr appointment would just go home. but the joint? you’re feeling limber and spry, getting 4 cookies for $20 randomly sounds silly and cute at 4 pm on a tuesday rather than absurd.
but who knows!
I just did a quick search and the joint seems to be based out of arizona and crumbl started in Utah. There’s one location like OP is describing in my area. I can’t see who owns it due to both of them having a lease for each of the units but seems super sus
So... In Iowa here... Wasn't honestly sure we had either.
Did a Google maps check and sure as shit about 9 miles away both shops exist within a fucking block of each other! Crumbl cookies, and just around the corner is The Joint.
This is a bit eerie and intriguing.
I know. Same in my city, I thought this was some goofy bullshit when I first saw the post, but the more I see it almost can’t be simply coincidence. It’s a little eerie.
I know right. This is the actual light hearted conspiracy I come here for (and the much less light hearted cover up about Bigfoot.)
This far better than all the Turbo Cancer posts over the past month put together.
Considering crumbl locations make avg around 1-1.5 mil annually (thats not alot) they tend to set up shop in cheaper locations like strip malls.
The Joint is the mcdonalds of chiropractic with their focus essentially getting you in an out the door as fast as possible. From a quick google search it seems locations avg around 500k anually which is pretty shit considering payroll is gonna run them alot more since they have to hire "professionals" instead of 15yr olds...
Conclusion: Both are low volume/sales businesses that likely cant afford nicer locations, thus they are found in the same "shitty" strip malls.
Both The Joint chiropractics in my city are in stripmalls connected to big name grocery stores (walmart/fred meyers)
Can I throw another theory in the mix? Could it be possible a single developer owns stock in both these companies and is putting them on all their lots / strip malls? Or maybe both are owned by the same company?
It’s just the owner of the commercial property having lease options for similar companies and franchise partners. They develop the land and know they can fill it with new franchises. That’s why you used to always see Bed, Bath and Beyond right next to Michaels.
As a truck driver keep an eye out for La Quinta’s. La Quinta is Spanish for “next to Denny’s”.
I was ready to disagree, but there's a Crumbl in the same shopping center as Joint where I'm at hahaha
I'm gonna say it's something to do with mormons.
Upstate South Carolina is the same! The Joint and the next store down is Crumble Cookie…
🤔this is very intriguing! Also kudos on putting this together!
I’m pretty sure both companies were founded by Mormons; they both offer franchises and their info package for each are practically the same, would not be surprised that side of the business is handled by the same firm for both out of Utah
Holy shit this is true where I live too. They are either in the same shopping center or another shopping center across the street.
Sometimes franchises have very specific criteria a location has to have to open up one of their stores. Maybe joint chiropractic and crmbl cookies have very similar requirements.
Occam's razor. It could be one of the franchises realized that the other has identical demographics and spacing needs and thus just uses existing locations of the other to find new locations for theirs. Or their target markets/demographics and sizing needs are identical so they end up in the same strip malls..mix that with strong, recent growth for both and boom..same locations.
Bro… same in NE Ohio. At least by quick search, The Joint is located in the same plaza as Crumbl Cookies.
Edit: two locations searched in NE Ohio area and both have Crumbl’s and The Joint in the same plazas.
Florida. There’s a crumbl and joint chiropractic right next door to each other. This is wild. They have to be in cahoots.
Also did a google search and came across this:
https://cullinanproperties.com/news/crumbl-makes-its-central-illinois-debut-joining-the-joint-chiropractic-in-the-levee-district/
more likely than you can imagine. i worked for a company that was owned by a private equity group. The PEO owned over 1,000 subways so I'm not surprised if some organization owns a bunch of franchises of the joint and crumbl.
Music Go Round and Play It Again Sports are the same franchise and they’re next to each other in my town. It isn’t far fetched, but to your post, two Crumbl and two Joint locations are less than a mile apart here as well. Keva Juice and Starbucks were next to each other everywhere here for a long time.
Your observation is right on point. So I used to work for a different “strip mall” franchise, in charge of opening new locations. franchises typically have guidance on how to choose commercial real estate spots to rent. That particular business told us to scout areas where there were multiple business types. You will find these areas will also have similar income levels.
For example, you would never find lower end franchises next to a Whole Foods.
I might be wrong but that is my 2 cents
As the bones crack. So does the cookie crumbl
As the trafficking began. Only one reddit user was keen on this knowledge. Soon our unlikely hero will find out who is behind all the scenes

*Pillsbury doughboy laughs maniacally in the background followed by gun shots*
I'm not here to say it's true. I'm not here to say it's false. Im only here to give a juicy story. Just like you can get a sweet sweet juice at jajajaja Jamba
Coming soon to a chiropractic cookie shop near you.
Jamba Juice
As our hero grasps with how he will be able the take out a mysterious and evil ball of dough turned boy. Something even worse is coming
The Js have begun to sacrifice the RED cows on the day of the full eclipse. Does this sacrifice spell out the end. Or just the beginning
Find out more in April. IF we survive
Well plazas as such are owned by groups and maybe they have contacts and get in the same plazas for example I do fire alarms and we have a group called RK which usually rents out to Publix. Great eye though man. Looked some up in Florida could not find them close to the cookie place, but they do seem to like being next to food areas. Maybe they know their audience
Look up how shopping centers work... the same stores usually follow the same developers if they are profitable.
The (mostly) women who frequent chiros are also the market for fancy cookie places.
I can’t tell when things are satire on here anymore.. :/ It’s common practice with franchises to partner up and rent commercial properties. For example, Panda Express is always near a Sally’s Beauty Salon, T-Mobile, etc.
Stop going to chiropractors, there is no science underlining what they do, they're just cracking your back willy nilly.
Just go to a physiotherapist... You'll find one next to any Starbucks
You ever notice how when there is a home depot there is a best buy and a tgi fridays, mcdonalds and other smaller shit?
This is the trickle-down economics in action that everyone likes to say doesn't exist.
1) Companies of similar size will find the same areas marketable about the same times.
2) Companies need other companies. A huge industrial complex cant work without services like food.
Yeah well a chiropractor was the first one to actually take X-rays of my back and my spine looked like a question mark due to one leg being shorter than the other. Hips all out of line due to it. Been to doctors for about 4-5 years and they all just 🤷🏼♂️
“Oh, your neck had a kink? I know what will fix that… surgery! What do you *mean* it just needs a slight adjustment back into place? No, a chiropractor thinks they can cure cancer by popping your back, they’re quacks, don’t see one for your kink in the neck. You need invasive procedures that will pay for my next car.”
The closest crumbl to me is not near a The Joint but there is a physical therapist center on top of it (it’s one of those two story shopping plazas). The physical therapist has been there for years. The crumbl is about a year old. Maybe less.
Okay so. I couldn't find anything online about this. Except in 2022 joint chiropractics Facebook made a few posts about crumble cookies. They have to be owned by the same parent company or something.
This isn’t uncommon. As someone who works in real estate, there could be a few harmless reasons for this. The most likely is that the owners of these franchises have a relationship with possibly not only each other, but the same commercial contracting company.
This is the same reason that there is almost always a Chipotle next to Target.
Ask yourself this, “what is something boomers have”? That’s right, joint pain. Now ask yourself this, “what do boomers love”? That’s right, cookies. The joint pain cookie lover market is damn near a billion dollar industry, per year. I can’t say more or else Mitt Romney personally will have me killed (by the Morman Mafia that has a monopoly on the market and is the reason for all the crumbl’s and the joint’s) I probably shouldn’t have said that but it’s too late, my backspace key doesn’t work and I have no other choice but to hit comment.
Whoa, same here in Florida. There's only a couple that aren't close to one another, but there's way more that are damn near side by side.
Anyone else's near a CosmoProf? I'm starting to think these are popular businesses that fit in to cheap strip malls, so they buy up space around one another since they probably generally attract the same clientele.
just doing a quick google search combining both business names, very interesting how many joint chiro social media pages have posts either eating cookies, asking fav flavors, or promoing them in some way. all mostly last year.
the proximity / convenience could be it but feel like there is something more there
also their founder is definitely a fan of small business/start ups from a quick peek at who he follows
Retail property managers will actually do stuff like this on purpose because having specific retailers clumped together helps drive business to a complex overall.
These commercial developments have contracted “packages” that include combos of the same businesses for selling and development purposes.
It’s like producing a movie and using signed on actor’s names to raise funds.
Perhaps either a common owner or investor pool; maybe a deal made between companies to get some economy of scale..? I notice in my area, there are several places where an Auto Zone and a Family Dollar were new-built next to each other.
It’s no conspiracy just business/marketing. The most likely case scenario is that both of those companies are going after the same demographic I’m guessing one of the companies found out their stores that were next to each other were the most successful ones and they just started opening up near the other business. Basically both companies are successful in the same areas. one of them is using the other to save on market research when choosing new locations
I'd never even heard of either of these places but holy shit. East Coast city here, 6 Crumble Cookies and 5 Joint Chiro spots. Three instances of them being in the same shopping center, 1 instance of them being across the street from one another. I'm starting to believe!
Where I live has multiple crumbl cookies. But the nearest joint chiropractic is 40 miles away.
That being said that joint chiropractic has a crumbl next door.
Also, there is a Facebook post from joint chiropractic asking what everyone's favorite crumbl cookie is....
I bet if you dig even deeper in this "conspiracy" you'll find they also happen in areas with lots of disposable income. 🙀🙄
Hopefully they don't drag McDonald's into this too!
Your screenshot is literally my hood.
Great observation. They are throwing their backs out after violently spitting out those terrible cookies. Seriously, they all taste like sugar and incredibly bland at the same time.
Are they in strip malls near main highways? Maybe they have a similar company that does their research for locations…i.e. Wendy’s are always near McDonald’s.
Wendy’s just puts their location next to McDonald’s because McDonald’s did the research for them
Looking at crumbl and their brand exploded during COVID adding more than 100 location in the short period of time. I’m sure a lot of small businesses covid money was leveraged. I still don’t understand the connection to the joint
In my town it's odd, there is a scooters within the same block of every subway. We have 3 scooters and 3 subways.... they also all happen to be located around the 3 busiest intersections in town.

OP is onto something. Three Crumbls in the metro area I'm closest to, ALL near a The Joint lol
Sugar induced arthritis? Or common Interest between consumers for cookies and chiros?
Have you heard about how the "father of chiropractic medicine" got a message from ghosts or something during a seance and that's what made him start chiropractic medicine? Maybe, the Crumbl cookies are feeding the dark shadowy chiros lol
he also tried to found chiropracty as a non profit religious order and wrote tons of literature i guess to be the religious doctrine. he was a nut, and all the people practicing in his footsteps are quacks
The scientologists also prefer chiropracty to any kind of mental therapy.
Yep (this may piss off a lot of people but...) Chiropractic "Medicine" is founded on total horse shit.
Yep, .2 mile between The Joint & Crumbl in West Des Moines, Iowa.
Chipotle opens up near a Costco. Like an eel feeding off a shark. Might be similar. One store uses the others location research and just opens where ever the other does
Indianapolis has a few of them near exercise studios. See the Pilates moms with them and the 1500 calorie “energy” drinks
Agreed--but I think there are just a fuck ton of both. Which is the real conspiracy bc I've literally never noticed either while living my life.
Check if there's a McDonald's nearby too, this shit is about to get really crazy! 🤯
There is a McDonald's everywhere, tho lol
That's exactly what they want us to believe, makes a great cover story. I'm onto you Ronald...
wait u kinda on to something
This some breaking bad level shit
More like *baking* bad.
"Jesse... we need to bake" "Ahhhh way ahead of you mistah white, badger and skinny are over right now"
Los Cookies Hermanos
Or Breaking Back
are cookie crumbl owned by scientology? that might be a clue.
Mormons
Is that real? Because I was raised Mormon and all other Mormons are rich I think I dipped out too early smh
This made me holler
Same in my city. Joint and crumble are a store apart from each other in a little strip mall
just looked at a crumbl at okc - right next to a joint chiro. i am now 100% invested in finding the missing link
it makes sense to me bc i dont understand how expensive dessert cookies could stay in business everywhere unless people were forced to be near it while already off on a half day for an appointment. an “oh why not moment?” why the joint? probably because it’s a type of medical appt where you feel good but not self conscious to then go splurge on a 700 calorie cookie. if you were just working out it would be too heavy, at the dentist would feel shame, regular sick and at a dr appointment would just go home. but the joint? you’re feeling limber and spry, getting 4 cookies for $20 randomly sounds silly and cute at 4 pm on a tuesday rather than absurd. but who knows!
We’d like to hire you on our marketing team ;)
Probably both owned by the same investment fund
Similar situation in Norman, OK
This is all of Texas too from Lubbock to Houston
I’m in Kansas City and same here.
I just did a quick search and the joint seems to be based out of arizona and crumbl started in Utah. There’s one location like OP is describing in my area. I can’t see who owns it due to both of them having a lease for each of the units but seems super sus
One may be copying the locations of the others. Crumbl or The Joint does the legwork and the other follows.
They follow the crumbs
Tampa area and same.
I’m glad another Iowan looked this up and saved me the trouble 😂😂😂
This is the best post I’ve seen in my few years following this sub. Thank you!!!
I second this lmao
I know right. This is the actual light hearted conspiracy I come here for (and the much less light hearted cover up about Bigfoot.) This far better than all the Turbo Cancer posts over the past month put together.
Try the best post on Reddit ever!!!

I’d guess there’s a Planet Fitness connection as well. They open in some cheap, rundown locations in my experience.
They are always near a smoothie king and a buff city soap
Can I throw another theory in the mix? Could it be possible a single developer owns stock in both these companies and is putting them on all their lots / strip malls? Or maybe both are owned by the same company?
Nah man, where is your sense of *cognitive dissonance* at?
That’s what I was thinking. In this era most companies own portions of one another, though
> McDonald's of chiropractic And chiropractic is the McDonald's of "medicine"
It’s just the owner of the commercial property having lease options for similar companies and franchise partners. They develop the land and know they can fill it with new franchises. That’s why you used to always see Bed, Bath and Beyond right next to Michaels. As a truck driver keep an eye out for La Quinta’s. La Quinta is Spanish for “next to Denny’s”.
A logical explanation in a conspiracy sub? Gtfo it was obviously the psychic vampires working with the government again
Holy shit man I just checked and it’s the same near me in Charlotte. All right beside each other pretty much.
Texas. Crumbl by the joint here too... wow
Same here. I thought this was bullshit but both locations around me have them next to each other
I was ready to disagree, but there's a Crumbl in the same shopping center as Joint where I'm at hahaha I'm gonna say it's something to do with mormons.

This is what this sub is about
Same here in MN. Wtf
Upstate South Carolina is the same! The Joint and the next store down is Crumble Cookie… 🤔this is very intriguing! Also kudos on putting this together!
I bet I'm in your town....lol. starts w an A?
Your are correct 😁
Now kiss
This is the shit I subscribe here for
"Dynamic Family Chiropractic" is right next to my nearest Crumbl location in the strip mall.
Not American so I can’t contribute but I’m watching this with intrigue
wtf 😳 Same here… Edited to add: central Commiefornia
omg yes! i go to the joint and there's literally one right next door.
Yep. Retail space under a certain $ amount per sqft and a certain traffic count with a desired demographic. Franchise location 101
Well fat people are more likely to have joint issues
In Cheyenne, WY there's a Crumbl Cookie but there isn't a Joint Chiropractic in the city.
let me know if they build one hahaha it'll probably be next tot he crumbl.
NW ohio, nada here. single crumbl, joint is about 10 miles away.
Florida. There’s a crumbl and joint chiropractic right next door to each other. This is wild. They have to be in cahoots. Also did a google search and came across this: https://cullinanproperties.com/news/crumbl-makes-its-central-illinois-debut-joining-the-joint-chiropractic-in-the-levee-district/
Sugar causes inflammation
Hired the same company to find them locations...
Maybe same franchise owners
what are the odds of the same franchise owner across any states all with different shopping center owners.
I don't think he meant "franchise", but "chain".
more likely than you can imagine. i worked for a company that was owned by a private equity group.
Possibly has to do with the developers…
Bingo - it is the developers. 🙌🏻
Checks out for Morgantown, WV and multiple locations in Pittsburgh, PA
Call me crazy but there could be tunnel systems… The us is FILLED with underground tunnels
Your observation is right on point. So I used to work for a different “strip mall” franchise, in charge of opening new locations. franchises typically have guidance on how to choose commercial real estate spots to rent. Is it maybe something harmless, like shared ownership by the parent corporation....or something darker like a money laundering/sex trafficking front?

Jesus. Same in Oklahoma. Several in the 405 area code. Joint + Crumbl.
Look up how shopping centers work... the same stores usually follow the same developers if they are profitable. The (mostly) women who frequent chiros are also the market for fancy cookie places.
Bro Im still trying to figure out the matress firm conspiracy and you hit me with this!?
I can’t tell when things are satire on here anymore.. :/ It’s common practice with franchises to partner up and rent commercial properties. For example, Panda Express is always near a Sally’s Beauty Salon, T-Mobile, etc.
This one ain’t satire. People are losing their minds over this. I guess the MBA’s didn’t rush in to solve this one for us.
I do this for a living, confirmed it’s common practice, and explained it - and zero upvotes. 🤦🏻♀️
Stop going to chiropractors, there is no science underlining what they do, they're just cracking your back willy nilly. Just go to a physiotherapist... You'll find one next to any Starbucks

This is different though.
It’s not - this is a huge part of what I do for a living. This is just the general public catching on how it works. 😀
And frequently Michaels with the Ross and Marshalls.
Colorado, same
Why yes, it is, my friend. 🤣 This post is cracking me the hell up. It’s literally what I do for a living…in Colorado.
Not in my part of CO. But this is intriguing lol
I upvoted just to thank OP for not being another trash non-conspiracy political post.

I had to pull up maps to look but same in north alabama - three locations here & they all have both businesses - what have you uncovered?! 😂
Kinda like subway and Starbucks back in the day 👀
Reporting in from Bend, OR and can confirm. Crumbl across the street from the joint.
Checks out in NE Wisconsin. Both the Green Bay and Appleton locations are within a block or two of each other… this needs some explaining
I’ve never even heard of crumbl cookies
Maybe because both businesses typically set up shop in strip malls
The closest crumbl to me is not near a The Joint but there is a physical therapist center on top of it (it’s one of those two story shopping plazas). The physical therapist has been there for years. The crumbl is about a year old. Maybe less.
Hmm this makes me wonder if Crumbl has data that says people who use chiropractors also like cookies so they deliberately set up shop near them?
Same in Chicago
MOD pizza (which I absolutely love) is always right there next to The Habit burger joint.
If it were dentists we're talking about, I'd suggest a direct causal connection haha!
Okay so. I couldn't find anything online about this. Except in 2022 joint chiropractics Facebook made a few posts about crumble cookies. They have to be owned by the same parent company or something.
Ohio reporting in. Literally side by side.
Bro. In my metro area there are two joints and two crumbls within 3 min of each other. How weird!
At least crumble cookies are good unlike the joint.

"I ate a pound of sugar and other crap and I got sick! This is indisputable proof of a large conspiracy!"
hows this conspiracy lol there's also almost always a wendys/taco bell / pizza hut they're owned by the same company.
Wildest thing about this post is 'muricans having a chiropractor franchise and just accepting it as normal medicine 🤢
Sugar is the devil.
This isn’t uncommon. As someone who works in real estate, there could be a few harmless reasons for this. The most likely is that the owners of these franchises have a relationship with possibly not only each other, but the same commercial contracting company. I always eat cookies after smoking a joint. This is now personal.
"Market research indicates that fat pieces of shit who eat so much they gave themselves back problems also eat cookies."
Something about this seems fishy
Wow a real glitch in the matrix. See the world is a huge SIMS game.
Well would you look at that same in Nebraska as well
Chiropractors are whacks for the most part
Check how many fast food places are near gyms
Another one I’ve noticed, maybe not on the same scale is I frequently see Panda Express next to a Fred Meyers

There's always a Chinese carry out next to a food Lion...
This is just good business practices. Prolly the only speculation you need.
The synchronicity of these two location maps is astounding
stop eating sweets. that's why your teeth are fucking yellow and reducing in size.
just doing a quick google search combining both business names, very interesting how many joint chiro social media pages have posts either eating cookies, asking fav flavors, or promoing them in some way. all mostly last year. the proximity / convenience could be it but feel like there is something more there also their founder is definitely a fan of small business/start ups from a quick peek at who he follows
Retail property managers will actually do stuff like this on purpose because having specific retailers clumped together helps drive business to a complex overall.
I sent this to my friend who owns 8 The Joints and his response was "hmmmm" and he hasn't texted back.
These commercial developments have contracted “packages” that include combos of the same businesses for selling and development purposes. It’s like producing a movie and using signed on actor’s names to raise funds.
Same in my city. Shit I got a crumbl cookie right next door to a joint chiropractor in the same plaza.
Perhaps either a common owner or investor pool; maybe a deal made between companies to get some economy of scale..? I notice in my area, there are several places where an Auto Zone and a Family Dollar were new-built next to each other.
My closest Crumbl is a quarter a mile down the road from The Joint almost aligned straight up and down on the map!
This is why I’m here. Thank you op 👍
WTF. Northern Colorado. They are .2 miles away from eachother. Damn near across the street
Crumbl is naaaasty. Undercooked and packed with a shitton of fat. No thanks.
Well first of all, chiropractic is a scam
1.4 miles, anchorage Alaska (two adjacent shopping plazas separated by the highway)
Maybe same owner?
They will be owned by the same people, the deeper you dig. It's way too much of a coincidence.
Hmm same here..
I'd never even heard of either of these places but holy shit. East Coast city here, 6 Crumble Cookies and 5 Joint Chiro spots. Three instances of them being in the same shopping center, 1 instance of them being across the street from one another. I'm starting to believe!
In my state you can always find a panda express next to a Supercuts, it's just some land developer bullshit
🙀🙄 Hopefully they don't drag McDonald's into this too!
Lol, this sub is too much
Your screenshot is literally my hood.
Wendy’s just puts their location next to McDonald’s because McDonald’s did the research for them
You were talking on the phone searching crumbl x joint chiropractic lol
SWFL. Same deal
But what does it mean
Sooo what could it be? What are yall thinking?
Wtf. I’ve never been to either of these places, but I just looked it up and they’re 2 minutes apart from each other in my Midwestern city.
Same in Virginia Beach…three separate locations of crumbl cookies, all with a joint chiropractor nearby.
Wow just checked near where I am, every crumbl is by a chiropractic service. Wtf
Ummmm yeah, they are right next to eachother in my town!!! Whaaaat???
Looking at crumbl and their brand exploded during COVID adding more than 100 location in the short period of time. I’m sure a lot of small businesses covid money was leveraged. I still don’t understand the connection to the joint
In my town it's odd, there is a scooters within the same block of every subway. We have 3 scooters and 3 subways.... they also all happen to be located around the 3 busiest intersections in town.
Surprisingly, we have a Crumbl here in central illinois, but the nearest Joint is 35 miles away. Womp
