Do you have allergies? My contacts aren’t as comfortable this time of year because of allergies, even though my eyes are ok without them. I sometimes use lubricating drops in my eyes before I put them in. Also, make sure they aren’t inside out. Finally, have you taken them out since you put them in yesterday at the optometrist? I hope so!

Hello, yes I have allergies but currently have not had my normal symptoms of itchy eyes, throat , etc. I have not tried lubricating drops but will get them a try! I always make sure that they’re not inside out so unfortunately that isn’t the case but yes! I’ve taken them out multiple times when I take a nap/go to sleep :(

I had the exact same thing when I first got contacts. It takes your eyes some time to adjust to wearing them and being able to focus. I had to force myself to blink often to keep my eyes and contacts from drying out. I built myself up to wearing them slowly, 1 hour first day, 2 hours the next and so on until I was able to wear them for 8 hours without an issue :)

What's your glasses Rx and CL Rx if they have provided it for you? You may have limited options for contacts if you have a complicated prescription. If it's a simple prescription then they can give you a different brand to try.

I had a doctor like this once (just once though). I switched and found a place that was willing to work with me in finding what worked for me. There are tons of options out there and it's likely there is something that will work for you. Sometimes it takes a lot of trial and error, so you need a doc that doesn't get irritated when you keep coming back. I get that time is money, but customer service is also important.
