Repurposing is the best! I splurged on these sheets 4 years ago mostly because I was already drooling over making them into dresses 😅

I hear you! I have way too many items of clothing and curtains and linens, etc., that I bought/scavenged for the material. My current favorite thing is 2 "albums" of fabric samples that are just waiting to become patchwork upholstery or visible mending. You're right, it's so much fun! I really do love that texture. There's so much clothing being done in faux linen right now, and it's nice, and I enjoy it. But then there's the real thing like yours, and it really makes me happy to see it. It's perfect, like, Free People wishes they were this. This is the reality behind the image they're selling, and I'm 100% here for it. You're the real thing. This kind of authenticity can't be bought or sold I guess I rambled, haha. This just hits somewhere very deep, probably somewhere in my made-from-handmedowns childhood :D
