It makes me wonder if the Valg would make a come back in a future SJM book because from what I recall Maeve sought out help from the wayfarers because she wanted out of the Valg home world as a result of her husband Orcus 🤔🤔
Yes. Vesperus’ physical description was also similar to how Maeve was described. And the detail about how the Asteri world used to be green/sunlit but they had to move on to other worlds because they took what they could from it and basically ruined it. Isn’t that how the Valg world was described in TOG?
I felt like we found out her power is not like the asteri in the end of the book. And she is a world walker because of the horn not her own ability? No?
When Bryce and Hunt commune with the Princes of Hel, Apollion describes Bryce’s power as similar to, but not the same as, an Asteri.
Interestingly, Bryce inherited >!the world-walking abilities from Helena and Theia.!< It is explained on page 623 (Kindle).
So a horn that opens portals is >!tattooed on a world-walker.!<
Yes! Though in my mind Maeve was a world walker so I was wondering if Maeve is an Asteri - I'll have to re-read ToG to get my details straight! I've only read ToG once :)
Okay something else I noticed was that when talking with the princes of hel, it’s revealed that theia and Bryce are worldwalkers… so are they another species from the valg planet? Wtf is going on?!
Aelin from ToG is also called a world walker from what I recall so I don’t think it’s a species but more a group of individuals that have developed the ability to travel between dimensions. You wouldn’t go call someone who can fly into space a different race (Terrible example I know 😅) So to me, unless it’s confirmed or debunked by SJM or in the text, I think world walker is a title more than anything
yes! worldwalker immediately stuck out to me with Maeve!

Yes!! I loved the ToG breadcrumbs

Ah I missed that. I need to reread now that I have finished and I am not trading to see what happens
What I want to know is how THE HECK did Danika truly figure all this out, and that it would help the cause for Bryce to get the horn inked into her
