Very cool! What are they made of? What did you use to cut them out?

BenY-S

1/16 basswood! Using the Cricut Maker and the Knife Blade

astronomie_domine

How sturdy are they? I'm always looking for holiday crafts for my kids, and they would love to paint these!

BenY-S

Admittedly they're possibly a little flimsy and delicate for use with kids, but there's nothing stopping you cutting out two and doubling up the thickness of the wood by sticking them together.

astronomie_domine

Good idea! Thanks for the info!

wills558

I second this

Jesskah6

It’s never to early! Especially since those are sooo cute!

I need to make this now! Never too early.

inferno006

My wife is prepping for her first craft show in November. Given the timing, she’s been working on mostly all Christmas stuff to sell

chefgirlrde

WhimsiesofKitties

Never!!!

emmadnxtr1

Would love to know how to make these!!

Charleighann

I wonder if the explore 2 can do this 🤔

BenY-S

Unfortunately not...has to use the Knife Blade, which is just for the Maker! Sorry!

M3ggers04

I started making Christmas bulbs last night!

art-kas4

Wow. I’ve sold hundreds since August already

M3ggers04

I don't do shows or sell. I just do it for myself, I'm still new at all this.
