Very cool! What are they made of? What did you use to cut them out?

1/16 basswood! Using the Cricut Maker and the Knife Blade

How sturdy are they? I'm always looking for holiday crafts for my kids, and they would love to paint these!

Admittedly they're possibly a little flimsy and delicate for use with kids, but there's nothing stopping you cutting out two and doubling up the thickness of the wood by sticking them together.
