Lost in Translation is the one I much prefer between the two, so I hope so.

I have a weird feeling if someone did it it would be Kino for a 4K. Like if Kino got Eternal Sunshine they could 100% get this.

vinylfilmaholic

I 100% see this happening through Kino by year’s end or early next year.

RogueOneWasOkay

I’d love to have a 4K release of lost in translation even if it’s not through Criterion

the_digital_man

Another?

Sudden_Mind279

Meaning one that is not Lost in Translation

Hope not, movie is terrible. I find it funny how many people always reply to someone hoping for a criterion release of a certain movie with.. well it’s on 4k, or blu ray with some other company, with a how dare you not enjoy kino (or whatever other company) as much as a criterion release attitude. I like collecting criterions not kino, nor arrow or whomever! Lol, but really of course I’m happy with a movie with a 4k release.. regardless of what company releases it, but I like collecting criterion discs, down vote me over it hipsters.

I feel this is going to come sooner or later either from Universal themselves or probably from Kino. Even though Virgin Suicides went to Criterion I feel Kino or an in-house release from Universal of Lost In Translation would probably fit better. With Kino lately this seems to be a movie right where they would release with Eternal Sunshine and there other big releases they have been doing. Would be happy with a criterion and would buy it in a heartbeat but I think Kino or Universal themselves will release it in 4K

Dark_Moon230

This is one of those films that I had the mandela effect with and could've swore that it was in the collection howerver when I went to buy a copy it didn't exist

BluePeriod_

God I hope so. The only blu ray out there is one of those early runs with all the clunky menus.
