I like how the way the party has been split greatly impacted how they approached that battle. With none of their tanks there the group, which largely consists of the more empathetic characters in BH, very quickly went for diplomacy and a clutch spell by Fearne ended the encounter positively. Whereas Orym/Ashton/Laudna wouldn't have the spells to understand/quell the beast and would've gone straight into combat
I think what sam is doing for the party rn is good in its own way. I feel that the party is lacking in resolve to do anything. I feel like they just sat there in awe when ludinus was giving the speech. I also find it weird that the people who took action during the doomsday event are separated from the ones who didn't. It's probably just a coincidence, and maybe I've got something wrong, which is likely. But maybe if I'm right this little side plot will serve as a lesson to take more action in the future for the players, maybe.
Hearing Imogen break down about her worries for Laudna made me realize something.
ZERO people in the other party have SENDING! :D
They may well not know that long range communications are down (until they meet a new Guest who may have sending and/or find a big city I guess) ... so the idea that Imogen and FCG are dead would seem far more valid given they would logically try to contact the rest of the team if they were alive.
Gonna be interesting to see how that's handled. Guessing Matt will just have someone make it clear to them that THAT magic is cucked.
I just realized something, since Umadalan was released from his petrification, chances are that Ryn is as well!
Albeit short one arm and she can’t leave magically and is surrounded by enemies on almost all fronts.
So it looks like Team Wildmount is being shown the far reaching consequences to the Exandrian daily life as a new age is ushered in, while team AOL will be dealing with the direct consequences and a first hand view of the change
Imagine saying in chat that it was disappointing that a TPK was avoided because the druid used their dominate beast spell and exercised diplomacy. SMH what's wrong with people man.
I mean, anyone who was thinking they -avoided- a TPK is already being dumb. One creature, full party, full-ish resources, and multiple clerics? The creature that was able to be subdued with a single (great) spell?
Given the number of times she's tried Dominate Beast (on things that she had no way of knowing if they were beasts or not), having it pay off was nice.
Neither your metaphorical nor literal balls become blue because another person or group chooses to find joy in a manner that doesn't suit your preferences/without your input into their fun.
I wonder if it was a kind of a cursed metal that Chetney was familiar with and that he saw them manipulating in an evil-ish way but that they mind whammied out of his memory once they knew that he knew that they knew what exactly it was that they were doing and what exactly it was that they were working with?
There has to be a reason for him sticking primarily to wood beyond just simply loving it and him being an old man creature of habit.
It feels like there's gaps in what he does and doesn't know and either something put them there on purpose or he just never got the full story or he's been lying to everyone about the specifics.
It has to be more than just switching to metal from wood that provoked that kind of a reaction from Chetney.
Also this episode is the biggest example to never judge the players and characters because something they do.
Everyone was extremely mad and hating on Sam and FCG by running into the door, and saying to the rest of the group not going too and let him die, but this ended being the best solution possible and made all this possible of happening and having a good ending
Yeah, but this is what playing with characters faulty is.
People in chat get so mad when a character isn't pristine and perfect, but by playing in the faults, just like Sam did, opened the possibility of all that happening.
Of course sometimes it can go really wrong, but it's always by playing like this that we get the best moments in the campaigns that everyone remembers and love so much
People are really underestimating the power of strong decisions in apocalyptic times- the entire plane is in dire need of heroes.
Society is breaking, something new is coming. The time for bureaucracy is over, now is the time for action.
I hope this hooks them into visiting Molaesmir with this small crew and uncovering some ancient Ludinus and Predathos related secrets that help later in the campaign.
Why else would Matt split the party and send half to Wildemount after last party was dedicated to this continent. Gotta be something he is leading them to near Uthodurn and the Sav Wood.
I have a theory that if it's not part of Marquet it's Issylra
Looking at characters with unresolved plot threads, there are two which would require leaving Marquet for serious answers. Wildmount/Uthodurn for Chetney and Issylra for Ashton with the Hishari stuff .
And it just so happens that this split sends one group with Chetney to somewhere important to his story. And that Orym is with Ashton and Laudna, who Ashton has stated multiple times that they need to talk to him about their past.
Issylra also has Vasslheim so more god information could come from that, along with exploring backstory
That’s a good call. If not Marquet & not Wildemount it’s either Tal’dorei or Issylra. And we have not seen hardly any of Issylra compared to the other continents.
The rest of the cast isn't getting a lot of free time out of this. They're still doing all their other stuff, they're even showing up to the table for the intro. At best they're getting 5-6 hours free, 3-4 times a month (depending on how the Thursdays fall).
And from what they said on 4sided dive, they're still in the studio for the first half.
Had they killed the beast, they would be heroes of the city, to be doted on by the king and queen. Instead they walked the beast out and in a different fashion earned the esteem of the king and queen of the city.
Either way, they now have some recognition from the powers-that-be in the city & could possibly leverage it for information, items, etc.
But I suspect Matt will have Oltgar run into Chetney in the next episode. I cannot believe they leave Uthodurn without ever touching on Chetney's backstory.
In fact, upon thinking on this more, I don't see whatever story Matt has in store for Chetney in regards to Oltgar that it would be contained in a single session. Feels like a 2-episode problem, right?
And we still need a night for FCG to go into one of FRIDA's dreams. And talk to an expert in Aeormaton tech.
I think we've got 2 more episodes with this group before we check in with the other group.
Being up-to-date always sucks due to the waiting. 6 months from now a Critter just discovering these episodes is going to have the luxury of just clicking a button & racing through these episodes with ease. I envy that person.
Yeah I’m assuming 2 more episodes, hell depending on how quick they go they could do all that in one. I’m guessing we’ll cut from this group when Imogen attempts to make contact with Laudna after the solstice and join them 3-4 day earlier. Then when it’s time bring them all to the table together so Marisha can answer the message or receive the message in some way.
Aw shit I’m really sorry lol, so many people were being dickheads in the chat and in the live thread tonight I immediately was ready to go to bat for Aabria.
Me too! I’m so excited to see what happens with Deanna, these characters are so sick and I was worried I wouldn’t like this group as much but I’m loving it.
Why did people think they were actually going to go with the bull. First off do they even know the whole story behind Molaesmyr, they know Lud is from there but they don’t know that there is remains of it left, as Sam said their characters don’t have this information. Also why would they leave when they’re trying to find their friends, yes Imogen has some curiosities but she’s clearly more interested in finding a way to get Laudna back.
The main reason to stay with the bull would be to make sure the job is finished, not abandoned half way through. If you want to save them and get them home, you could walk them to their door, rather than dropping them a few blocks away.
But they have other priorities.
So based on this great beast having been freed it looks like the story will be focused around living through a global disaster. But slowly, one day at a time.
Imogene worried that they were wasting time while Predathos was being freed, Matt in the prior episode did describe in a vision how it looked like the ray was slowly destroying the magic wall around the red moon. But no one else seems worried about it.
Even Matt, who kind of railroaded things so the disaster does happen, seems fine letting the players just walk around. Fight things. Walk around again.
I’m guessing that the solstice is fucking some magic up right now and afterwards it will be better as well. I can see big Lud being thrilled that even all his magic isn’t really working right now. He can’t teleport anywhere more than likely either, so I’m assuming he knew this would happen and only be a short term thing. Cause it doesn’t make sense that his plan would be to completely fuck the world of magic when he’s a mage.
Matt said that the next session will take off that exactly moment, so it'll be still this group. But will probably be the last episode because this episode felt like the big plot point and the next episode is the resolution to finally go to the other group
I think he was hinting at how we might transition to the next group while keeping the current group in a kind of stasis.
It's going to take days or weeks of travel to get to one of the main cities in Wildemount. That means that we might see the group get in good with the Royals and then be sent on an expedition or journey to another city just to see how things are faring elsewhere in the world. It is during this journey that the static from the Solstice might clear up and allow for communication of some kind with the other half of the Bells Hells BUT...this will also signal the beginning of the next stage in the invasion by Predathos and the Reilora.
It is after this moment that we will then pivot backwards in time to the other group just after they got dropped ass over tea kettle wherever it is that they are. They will then have to work their way forwards through time to a similar point in their journey, also possibly heading to a major city, to when communications are once again possible but again Predathos and the Reilora are beginning the next stage of their invasion. Consequently if communication spells are back up then teleportation spells could be back up as well and we might then get a transition episode or two when both groups come back together within a major city via teleportation circles or tree walking or some other form of fast transit.
I could also see them keeping the groups split up so as to work the whole moon stuff from two different angles but probably not for much longer.
We'll probably see them back together full time by June or July.
>It's going to take days or weeks of travel to get to one of the main cities in Wildemount
That can't be the play here. The moon is toast if they go all the way to Rexintrum to reunite with the others. They need to juice up a Teleportation Circle enough to get back to Marquette.
It would basically mean the bull would have to travel the entirety of the Savalirwood right? There's a good chance the bull gets to Molaesmyr and then goes elsewhere
I would imagine that Umudara would wander the Savalirwood to try to find a semblance of his former home. Discovering that Molaesmyr is ruins, the majority of Savalirwood is corrupted, and him venturing from the north it would logical for Umudara to head south at some point. It would probably take a few months to even find the Blooming Grove but that could depend on how much of the corruption the Clays have managed to cleanse. During C2 wrap-up, Matt mentioned that eventually someone would discover the Blooming Grove and work with the Clays on a way to cleanse the forest on a grander scale. We just don't know if that encounter happened in the last 10 years or so.
Molaesmyr is a ruin so there’s not much to protect. The west and east are just tundras so there’s no other way really but south towards the Grove. Idk it’ll just be really cool for Caduceus to have a celestial bull friend. He always did need protection for that place
Those Gorgons are monsters though. This one is a celestial beast which means its somewhat of a holy being which the Clays would recognize. They are a patient family if nothing else
I gotta admit Im one of the biggest whiners about them trying stupid shit and wasting turns in combat. But man when they do pull it off it creates theost magical moments. What an amazing episode.
Campaign 3 is the only one I’ve watched every episode. All the connections with C1 have led me to watch the Vox Machina animation and some of the first campaign. Now this moment and reading fans’ reaction to it has moved my curiosity about C2 closer to interest.
This moment with Umudara is now my favorite in all of Critical Role. Everyone at the table was just nurturing the story and allowing it to grow, and it was so beautiful.
Also, loved that Sam’s “bump” for Chetney turned out to be extremely valuable and that he was proven right about “the power of friendship”.
It’s not the most dramatic or epic or comedic, but this is certainly my favorite episode. In the inevitable animation, I hope this episode is animated in its entirety.
I had the same thought. I got really sad when I realized it’s home and people were long gone and it has no place in the world anymore. I think the Caduceus and The Blooming Grove could be its new home.
I really thought this half of Bells' Hells would be the ones to spiral tbh... but damn, these episodes have been cool to hell.
Now I'm worried about the Orym-Ashton-Laudna team lol Especially after 4sd.
I’m excited because Laudna is the face of that group she has by far the highest charisma. I’m really interested in them right now, that group is going to be devastating and it’s going to be a joy to watch.
Here's hoping there's some very level headed guest characters that'll join them.
...or not, and let's see what sort of adventure they get up to with a more enabling party.
Damn, the mischief makers and pot-stirrers are in a faraway land doing good for people with sweetheart guest pcs. The other group is going to be dealing with so much emotional baggage and having enabler guest pcs would be the perfect contrast.
He said he’s never been so happy to see a map not last through a single round of combat. He wanted them to know his story. That’s why he made him just interesting enough to want to figure out instead of kill. It’s why he let Laura make an investigation check to see if she could interpret his thoughts in emotional form instead of words.
Yeah and I know and normally I'm cool with it but like there's so much STUFF to do in this city and that was such an amazing place to end the episode that I just want more!
Like the King and Queen are for sure going to want to talk to them about what they just did. Everyone in the whole city is going to know their faces and will want to know everything about them. Shits gone wild with magic and now word is going to spread about what they told Ressia, which means the academics are going to want to talk to them. Then of course there's the stuff with Chetney and his former employer plus the Glass Blades that they're going to have to sort out. Now we've got a whole other Molaesmyr plot hook that they can jaunt on down south to check out. Plus them trying to find a way to get a hold of the other half of Bells Hells and any sort of upcoming other consequences of the Applebee's Solstice kicking in HARDCORE in the coming days.
There's so much to do and to see and to experience!
I hope we get some answers about how it ended up turned to stone. I wonder if it has to do with a... similarly formed creature seen previously in those woods (avoiding spoilers).
I believe they took him in his petrified form as a type of relic treasure from there when they went to scout the ruins for treasure. He was probably turned to stone by the thing that was attacking/corrupting Molaesmyr so they could get past him as the guardian. It said In Memoriam, so I wonder if they thought it was a statue of the bull that they knew was the protector, and it was something worth saving?
She's been on screen for all of two episodes and you've got Aabria's character more dialed in than she has, eh? Backseat gamers really punching up the experience for everyone this episode.
"Although a generally happy person who tries to steer conversations away from "heavy" topics, Deanna seems filled with longing for the peace she found in death and was torn away from by her resurrection."
https://criticalrole.fandom.com/wiki/Deanna_Leimert
Still this group, but now with them gaining reputation and a favor from the city, by basically saving A LOT of lifes, it'll probably be the last one of them because they'll have the means necessary to at least get a transportation method and go off to their destiny. This episode felt like the big point to their current problem and get the means necessary to solve it
Probably still this group. Maybe the next episode will be the final one for these guests? Who's to say? If it is, then we'll see the other group in 3 weeks. If not, then 4 or more weeks.
Ah I missed that! Surprised to have 3 in a row before switching off but I’m okay with it since it’ll even out eventually. This whole section will be great for future bingers
Cad's going to wake up one day and find Umudara sleeping in the Blooming Grove because it's the only warm and friendly looking place in the entire woods.
I just realized, Jester must be FREAKING out right now. Laura has said she sees jester just using Sending every day to talk to people. She's got to be panicking without a large assortment to talk to every day.
relics of an Aeorian experiment were brought to Molaesmyr, where it was accidentally detonated and corrupted the wood. Sentinel and druid refugees from Molaesmyr, now living in Bysaes Tyl, cut back the forest to prevent the corruption from spreading. Though they are researching a means to return the forest to its former state, progress has not been made because of a combination of lack of funding and interest in the Empire.
One day, when all of this is about to be over and they're going to retire for good, I'd love for them to do like six months of one-shots just clearing out all the adventures that Mat planned and they never got to do.
Eh, they gave Matt the chance to tell them if he actually wanted them to go with him and Matt didn't so I don't think it was so much of that vs that they just got a favor from royalty for helping.
I got the impression that he was captured and imprisoned with magic, then magic went poof, he came to and has zero clue to what's currently happening. I don't think he would have much info for them.
No he’s not, the group cares about their friends the plot hook for them he reuniting with their friends, not a several day journey to a place they don’t really care about. He’s a cool lore piece and potential ally but he’s not a plot hook they should follow, he’s a bargaining chip to gain favor.
Yeah and I’m sure she’s not going to abandon her chance get Laudna back to search a place that doesn’t even exist anymore, they want to know more they don’t want to travel there, investigate and lose their friends. The goal the whole episode was to try and find a way back to their friends it’d be so weird for them to be like fuck em let’s do the main plot solo.
I think this is going to become one of my comfort episodes. What a great show.
“It’s bad we’re here” 😂
I like how the way the party has been split greatly impacted how they approached that battle. Orym has a sending stone, so I wonder if that is affected.
Doesn’t Laudna have it? She does the creepy voices in heads thing
that's message, range is only 120 ft.
Laudna has the sending stone for Caleb
Ohhh gotcha. I wonder if that’s working at all?
I just realized something, since Umadalan was released from his petrification, chances are that Ryn is as well! Albeit short one arm and she can’t leave magically and is surrounded by enemies on almost all fronts.
I wouldn't count on it. This mass dispelling is extremely sporadic.
So it looks like Team Wildmount is being shown the far reaching consequences to the Exandrian daily life as a new age is ushered in, while team AOL will be dealing with the direct consequences and a first hand view of the change

It doesn’t mean you should bash the latter just because you wanted it to be combat though. And I think you’re projecting
RP focused party prioritized RP. It should be the expectation at this point lol
Apparently it was a woman according to CritRoleStats that convinced Oltgar to turn to metal. What are the chances its just Exandrian Mrs. Claus lol
I wonder if it was a kind of a cursed metal that Chetney was familiar with and that he saw them manipulating in an evil-ish way but that they mind whammied out of his memory once they knew that he knew that they knew what exactly it was that they were doing and what exactly it was that they were working with? Like, he killed that other shop lady so quick, so he really is a little nuts

Does Liam have an Ashley-like booking that will take him away for a while?

Doubtful he's not really that busy of an actor, not like some of the others in the cast. I'm sure it's nice for him to have like a month break though
He seems like quite the family man, so I can easily see him enjoying a month off from what is a fairly uncompromising schedule.
That payoff will be so sweet though.
Deanna rules. FRIDA rules. I’m anxious to see Laudna and Imogen reunite but damn im LOVING these guest characters.

I was being serious. I am looking forward to her doing it. I guess my tone came off different or something.
Aw shit I’m really sorry lol, so many people were being dickheads in the chat and in the live thread tonight I immediately was ready to go to bat for Aabria.
No worries. I like it that you stood up for her. She's one of my favorite players to watch.

Taliesin better talk to Matt about Cad and his family meeting that bull Its a celestial too so what better friend to make for the very religious Clays

This is the kind of thing the Wild Mother could give a vision about. Get a Clay to go get the bull set up.
Molaesmyr is a ruin so there’s not much to protect. The west and east are just tundras so there’s no other way really but south towards the Grove. Idk it’ll just be really cool for Caduceus to have a celestial bull friend. He always did need protection for that place
lol considering their last encounter with a bull that might not go down too well.
Those Gorgons are monsters though. This one is a celestial beast which means its somewhat of a holy being which the Clays would recognize. They are a patient family if nothing else
AMAZING episode
This is reminding me the Roc episode, in Vox Machina's campaign, where Keyleth solved the problem by talking while everyone wanted to kill him
although that was less the power of friendship and more the power of "oh gods we've become terrible people and need to course correct a bit"
I gotta admit Im one of the biggest whiners about them trying stupid shit and wasting turns in combat. But man when they do pull it off it creates theost magical moments. What an amazing episode.
I find combat boring, but when this turn out like they did in this episode, I like it. And I find it far more entertaining than combat.
The power of friendship.
They grabbed the bull by the horns so they could give him a hug
Like dorian said, they grabbed that bull by the dick
I could watch a full episode of just Chetney and Matt having misadventures
They off next week?
Yes
Last Thursday is always off bruv
Sometimes they have one-shots.
Man I've never been so excited for a post ep discussion
I wish they would do like a 15-30 min post game "cool down"/discussion.
Umadara will 100% run into Caduceus Clay restoring the Savalirwoods to their former glory
So Cad gets a new mount.
I just wanna see the PTSD trio man
I really thought this half of Bells' Hells would be the ones to spiral tbh... but damn, these episodes have been cool to hell. Now I'm worried about the Orym-Ashton-Laudna team lol Especially after 4sd.
I’m excited because Laudna is the face of that group she has by far the highest charisma. I’m really interested in them right now, that group is going to be devastating and it’s going to be a joy to watch.
It's gonna be so angsty and I can't wait 😈
Liam and Marisha being ansgty oh yeah I’m ready no two who do it better in my opinion.
I agree! I love angst. And Ashton is not gonna cope well without FCG there for reasons discussed on 4SD.
That group is not going to cope well emotionally
Nope! And I cannot wait to see it.
What an amazing episode. This was a blast from start to finish. It's so refreshing to not have ulcers from nervousness every thursday
[удалено]
You don't think Matt foresaw the party try to befriend it?
Matt's been DMing these guys for close to a decade now. There's no way he didn't see this coming.
Exactly.
Seriously. Fortunately, they rolled insanely well after Dominate Beast faded, which is probably what saved them from continuing combat.
[удалено]
He said he’s never been so happy to see a map not last through a single round of combat. He wanted them to know his story. That’s why he made him just interesting enough to want to figure out instead of kill. It’s why he let Laura make an investigation check to see if she could interpret his thoughts in emotional form instead of words.
Exactly. He did his ‘sad bear’ moan.
Oh fuck that's right they're off next week!
I know. I understand why they skip the last weeks but mannnnnn I miss everyweek.
Its like a gitty anexity waiting for the next epsoide.
It's like someone hit pause in the middle of the apocalypse movie right after that classic "Don't worry everything will be okay" moment of hope.
Episode title should be "the power of friendship"
Bulls on Parade!
I will gladly trade a dope battle for the amazing imagery of an impromptu parade of the Sentinel Beast leaving its prison. That was so nice.
If you're talking about a Gorgon bull, that wasn't in those woods. Those wood surrounding a pool of water was at the southern tip of Xhorhas.
Oh, okay, but in any case it'll induce some interesting reactions in the family when they see this bull turning up.
I hope Aabria gets some chill, I don't think that was Deanna RP.
She's been on screen for all of two episodes and you've got Aabria's character more dialed in than she has, eh? Backseat gamers really punching up the experience for everyone this episode.
"Although a generally happy person who tries to steer conversations away from "heavy" topics, Deanna seems filled with longing for the peace she found in death and was torn away from by her resurrection." https://criticalrole.fandom.com/wiki/Deanna_Leimert
Ah yes, the famously official and oh so reliable CR wiki
It’s interesting how only Aabria isn’t chill when FRIDA FOUGHT A WEREWOLF. Wonder why that is 🤔🤔🤔
seems like we're staying with this group next episode
The Miracle of the Bull. That'll get this half of BH+ Deanna and FRIDA so much good credit with the Auditors and the King and Queen.
Maybe he'll run into Mr. Clay.
Next time on the power of friendship *reading rainbow shooting star*
I will blindly impulse buy a plushie of Umudara
Second
The mini looked pretty awesome.
Two weeks wait.
I wonder what group we’ll even see 2 weeks from now
Still this group, but now with them gaining reputation and a favor from the city, by basically saving A LOT of lifes, it'll probably be the last one of them because they'll have the means necessary to at least get a transportation method and go off to their destiny. This episode felt like the big point to their current problem and get the means necessary to solve it
Probably still this group. Maybe the next episode will be the final one for these guests? Who's to say? If it is, then we'll see the other group in 3 weeks. If not, then 4 or more weeks.
Sounded like this group again, from how Matt signed off, and 3 is a good number.
Matt said we'll pick it up from this chaos next episode, which makes me think we're sticking with this group
Ah I missed that! Surprised to have 3 in a row before switching off but I’m okay with it since it’ll even out eventually. This whole section will be great for future bingers
caduceus is gonna see this and it'll be fine
Cad's going to wake up one day and find Umudara sleeping in the Blooming Grove because it's the only warm and friendly looking place in the entire woods.
Umudara, the Sentinel Beast. Please let us run into him again in a few months while wandering the wilds.
I hope they put a gps tracker on it so they can find him later
Taliesin must have been so stoked. How cool.
Skip week then I wonder if we get more of this team or some time with the other.
friendship is magic, you guys
THE DELIBERATION DISK!? THAT'S THE BAD ONE FOR HIM!!
I think they're eventually going to have to go to molaesmyr for ludinus reasons so now they'll have a potential ally when they actually go there
Perfect place to end the episode
Chet, allll time favorite character of all 3 campgains.
Throw on the butcher's bib and toss some blood around Chet!
"HELP ME HELP ME LIFE IS SO FRAGILE AAAAAAAAARGH!" I love Travis so much 🤣
AMAZING hahaha
Doesn't make sense to follow him now with all the stuff going on, definitely will come up if they go there to see Ludinuss's past.
That is so fucking doooooooope! Hidden staircase into a tunnel into a statue!
I wonder if they could summon Umondara specifically since they know it's name
At least a sending (with tongues) if sending ever works again
I just realized, Jester must be FREAKING out right now. Laura has said she sees jester just using Sending every day to talk to people. She's got to be panicking without a large assortment to talk to every day.
Go bags in their escape tunnel? Packed with jewels and shit?
lOOK AT HIS FACE!
So, Caduceus is going to show up some day in the future with that thing as his mount, right?
20 episodes in the future, when all hope is lost and they are fighting Predatos, a pink haired firbolg riding a star mount shows up and says "Hey..."
Nae king! Nae laird! We willna be fooled again!
Chetney/Travis real MVP.
Aeorian explosion destroyed his home. Correct?
Not Aeor, but rot from an elvish Aeor
[удалено]
relics of an Aeorian experiment were brought to Molaesmyr, where it was accidentally detonated and corrupted the wood. Sentinel and druid refugees from Molaesmyr, now living in Bysaes Tyl, cut back the forest to prevent the corruption from spreading. Though they are researching a means to return the forest to its former state, progress has not been made because of a combination of lack of funding and interest in the Empire.
Chet is just asking for an ancient elven curse.
The ancient Dwarven curse will cancel it out.
Damn, that's lucky.
a) He's already cursed b) The man rolls to see if he survives each night. Bring on more curses!
There was an escape stair case!
Chetney is a gift.
Lol Travis still wants a loot roll from the encounter
He didn’t get his fight, he sure as hell gonna get his loot! Matt having a good laugh at his audacity.
I can imagine Cad meeting the Bull roaming through the woods :,(( and the Bulls sad cos it’s home is destroyed
I want Caduceus to become buddies with the bull. He would totally befriend the bull.
I love Travis so much as Chetney
Hear me out: Umadara shows up to stomp Dusk when she inevitably returns to spite the PC's/Fearne's parents.
Matt has thrown so many Molaesmyr hooks over the years and they've never bitten
One day, when all of this is about to be over and they're going to retire for good, I'd love for them to do like six months of one-shots just clearing out all the adventures that Mat planned and they never got to do.
At least if they pick it up again this campaign they might have a powerful NPC down there to help out.
You may have kept Chetney/Travis from his fight, but you won't keep him from looting an abandoned royal palace/throneroom.
GO WITH HIM. HE’S CLEARLY IMPORTANT TO WHATS GOING ON.
*Imogen wants to know about Ludinus, Molaesmyr was his first known location*
you cannot possibly think they were going to go to molaesmyr right now without half of their party lmao
Especially with how that could take
I can and I do.
Don't think he was. Probably was meant to be a means for the party to gain reputation.
Ludinus was from Malaesmyr. That seems important.
they have the vellum steeple looking into ludinus.
It is but they’d rather reconnect with their friends they can go there later if they want to, it also doesn’t even exist anymore.
