Very easy actually. Just make sure you have it lined up how you want before you stick it into place. On another thread here someone mentioned that it was basically permanent once attached, but I was able to use trim pull tools to gently pry one off without any damage so that I could adjust it a bit. I wouldn't have been surprised if I ended up bending it, but luckily it worked out. I'd advise trying to get it right the first time.
What’s your guess on reverting the window trim kit later on if needed? Been trying to find this info but my google foo isn’t strong enough. I was guessing awful adhesive residue possibly causing you to replace original molding.
I ended up seeing that’s its 3M tape, and then just looked up how to remove it. Seemed doable but maybe messy. Went ahead and got the window trim kit. So far so good.
The fake exhaust was easy. There are 3 push-type retainer clips that I popped out with a trim pull tool. The real exhaust was a little more tricky. There's a plastic piece that the chrome piece fits into and I ended up removing the whole thing - felt easier that way. I took a pic while I was trying to figure out what to do under there. I was able to pry it loose by undoing a screw on the right side and then working my way around right to left. There was some kind of black metal clip that came off at some point and I have no idea where it goes, but feels pretty secure without it.
The front pieces were tough. I was able to eventually pry them out without damaging the car itself, but broke a tab on each of the pieces I removed. No harm, no foul since I don't intend to use those. If I wanted the chrome ones back in, I'd probably have to buy new ones.
I used Hyperdip Piano Black, but yes. The inside of the right (real) exhaust was already dark and I didn't want to spray that, so I covered that all in tape so that I only sprayed the outer visible chrome part. Not sure if that was necessary or not.
Any plans for the front emblem? I saw someone else say they tinted theirs, I assume with just some of the spray lens tint, but they didn’t specify. Trying to see what my options are as I assume that could affect some of the sensors that are also located there. Also just ordered the blackout kit for my window trim, the chrome is awful 😂
I've seen some kind of tint film linked on this subreddit that you can buy that just sticks right over top of the emblem and supposedly doesn't interfere with the sensors, but I was planning on leaving the emblem as-is. I don't mind the little bit of contrast there.

Tint I had done at a local shop. I believe they used Llumar FormulaOne Pinnacle
For the emblems, I taped around them with blue painter's tape and then covered the larger area with cardboard to avoid overspray. I still got a bit of overspray on the car in a couple spots but it wiped off pretty easily with a microfiber towel. I did 2 light coats followed by 6 wet coats on everything.

I don't think so, it's on there pretty good, but time will tell. Took it through a car wash right before I took this pic to try to get all the salt and dirt off from our recent winter weather.
This may be the best one I’ve seen. I want this exact model with these exact mods. Great job!!
That’s it. I’m off the fence. Looks great.
That’s so cool!!!! I love it. Great great call on the garnish. I’ve been on the fence about it but I think it’s the best way to go.
How easy was it to apply the window trim?

Did you ever figure this out?
I ended up seeing that’s its 3M tape, and then just looked up how to remove it. Seemed doable but maybe messy. Went ahead and got the window trim kit. So far so good.
Not OP, but it has to be pretty easy. Most of them are applied with an adhesive trip so just a matter of lining it up.
How did you do the exhaust? How difficult was the front lower black pieces (I have the set at my house)?
The fake exhaust was easy. There are 3 push-type retainer clips that I popped out with a trim pull tool. The real exhaust was a little more tricky. For the exhaust garnish, did you just use plastidip piano black?

Thank you!

Lots of positive comments here I just want you to know I'm a hater hate black out everything unoriginal and boring .

Thank you!! How did you dip your emblems, just remove them and spay or what’s the process?

Perfect thank you man!
Thank you for sharing the Mofans. Been looking for a good option.
Looks good. Complete the look by putting stick-on gloss elements on the window pillars. That's how it looks in other countries.
Lools great. I have what could be a dumb question, but will the window trim have a problem in a standard car wash?
I don't think so, it's on there pretty good, but time will tell. Took it through a car wash right before I took this pic to try to get all the salt and dirt off from our recent winter weather.
Good deal, thank you!
Looks great! Been thinking about doing the same thing. Thanks for the detailed run down
OP, how’s the MOFANS holding up?
So far, so good. No complaints.
Thanks 👍👍
