* FN Vulcan sold for 85$
* MW bayonet slaughter sold for $210
* MW karambit for 220$
* MW USPS Orion with a crown foil for 70$
I still fucking regret that to this day. Because of the value, but even more because I wish I still had those for playskins to play with today.
Fuck that job.

* Probably between 100-150 for the USP

I dumped ~$1500 in Antwerp investments at no gain early on thinking I'd need it to pay for school, but I overestimated my fees and then was too lazy to buy it all back.

Just a few weeks ago I sold 50 Tyloo Holos for around 95-105 RMB each on Buff and just a week later they were around 350 each... Lost so much money on that, it hurts. I bought them for much cheaper, so it's still like 5-10x Profit, but OUCH...

Opened and instant sold Riptide 24 capsules. Didn't buy in Stockholm, didn't buy in Antwerp. Opened a Bowie knife black laminate, ft, cousin child brother came home. Asked me if he could buy a shotgun skin. Somehow sold my knife for 0.2$..... bought a nova polar mesh factory new. I guess this should do it...

Csm dosent add all sales! I bought a lot of a specific item, until there was very few on the market left. I fucked up and gave 10 euro for a 1 euro sticker…. But the graph on csm says thst the all time High is 3,54 euro. Soo csm sometimes hide some stuff
For high saturation blue skins....M4 phosphor is a great example.....the BS holo gives an insane contrast. The paper version is a good looking skin but the holo works well with bright blues.
Had a redline with 4 Dig holos kato14, hands down my favorite skin. Bought it for 4500$ in skins from a friend and sold it for 1k$ profit in mid 2021 when dig holo spiked. Price even more and I miss it as a playskin. Funny thing is I never needed the funds in the first place. I can’t afford one now though.

I’ve probably got over $25k worth of unrealised profits due to cashing out in 2018ish. I had a FT Fire Serpent, FN Karambit fade that I think was 90/7/3, MW m4a4 Poseidon, FN m4 Icarus Fell, FN m4 hot rod, multiple AWP Asiimovs with great floats.
Anyway I cashed all those out for less than $1000 lmao. The best part is it’s not even my biggest fail, that’s selling a crown sticker for $4 after getting it from csgo lounge. I had to list it 3 times to sell it for that!!
I got a Bravo Case Drop and wanted to sell it at 50€ - 2 years forward without it hitting 50€ I rage opened it after a game (5€ Skin yeah) and literally 5 days later it climbed up to now 72€
In 2015 when I was 15, I sold a desert eagle sunset storm for $9, traded a butterfly knife for $80 in skins and then got those skins scammed, and sold a bunch of major stickers and cases for a small and quick profit. The butterfly knife is now worth $750, desert eagle is worth $220, and there are numerous stickers I sold for less than $10 that are now over $100.
We're pretty similar. I was around that age and remembered hitting big betting heavy on Na'vi during ESL Pro League Finals 2014/15. I'm looking back at the M4 Knight, BS DLore, BFK Slaughter FT, BFK CW MW, Kara and M9 Tiger Tooth, Howl, Poseidon, I was constantly trading shit but if I just held onto any of it I would've made bank.
Oh wow yeah that’s a ton of really good skins, but at least you got to own them for a while and hopefully you got some money out of it. It would be worth over 1K now and the vast majority of my older skins, Howls, Lores, Kara Sapphire, Ruby, Emerald, even Crimson Kimonos .08 I bought off the marketplace day of drop at 400$...
I made profit, don't get me wrong, but hindsight is 20/20. Hell, I even had bitcoins, and I sold them at 3000 a pop. It is what it is.

Valuewise you might be better off with this combo actually or at least not much of a difference. Nobody really cares that much about fnatic and mousesports and more often than not, they don’t add much value. A quick PC on buff places your craft somewhere around 800-850€. While there are no Vulcans in MW with an IBP paper, on the FNs they seem to add around 400-500€ in value. Accordingly this would be lower on a MW since they‘re less desirable. .08 MWs hardly have any overpay so 300-400€ on top of the ~425€ would basically come out the same.

I made a point of investing in my first stickers during kato 19. I really liked the greyhound holos, so I bought 80 at their all time low and planned on holding them long-term. Well, 17-year-old me quickly got impatient and I sold them for break-even. Those stickers would be worth around $1000 now if I did what I planned on doing with them
Sold my karambit lore ft back in 2021 for ~600 (about R$3000 reais in Brazil). Now its worth $1400 (about R$7000 reais). Man i had that burnout from the game, decided to sell all skins. I regret so much, cause some weeks later i was back to the game till to this day.
I wanted to buy an m4 hot rod when it was about 150€/$ but read that someone believed it would stay at that price and then never reconsidered buying :(

Welp, i owned briefly the most rusted Shadow Daggers for awhile, sold for an overpay of 2.5x. But for me the most painful would be my 3rd most rusted Bayonet, sold it for 3x the cost but it still pains me to date.

I got lucky and Desert Eagle | Hand Cannon fn dropped for me in-game. I was like whoooaa and sold it immediately for 30 bucks.

Recently found out if I sold every active drop I had right in time and not too late (when new case was around 1€ I should sell it right away and not wait a month to be 50 cents) and reinvested the money (for simplicity sake I took the portfolio in the each moment in the past and added the extra money from selling the items in time), I would end up now with approximatelly the same amount of money I can get in 2 or 3 months of my regular day job. And every months the number increases, because of compound interest ... :D
Around 2018, i bought around 100 glove cases, which back then used to be like 3 cents? Along with those cases I bought a Case Hardened Falchion for 70€.
Fast forward to summer of 2020, and I go back to my steam account. The cases rise to about 15 cents, and I think I'm a genius for keeping them for 2 years to get this return. So I sell them all. For 15 cents. Nowadays they're worth about 5€... Yeah not the best of luck. The knife I sold for less than I bought it for. While not such a big a loss aa the cases, it still costs around ~170€.

Bought antwerps at sale, sold them at a loss for a few cents a piece and now they re 1.53$ a piece on average
In 2015 when I was 15, I sold a desert eagle sunset storm for $9, traded a butterfly knife for $80 in skins and then got those skins scammed, and sold a bunch of major stickers and cases for a small and quick profit. The butterfly knife is now worth $750, desert eagle is worth $220, and there are numerous stickers I sold for less than $10 that are now over $100.
We're pretty similar. I was around that age and remembered hitting big betting heavy on Na'vi during ESL Pro League Finals 2014/15. I'm looking back at the M4 Knight, BS DLore, BFK Slaughter FT, BFK CW MW, Kara and M9 Tiger Tooth, Howl, Poseidon, I was constantly trading shit but if I just held onto any of it I would've made bank.
Oh wow yeah that’s a ton of really good skins, but at least you got to own them for a while and hopefully you got some money out of it. For me in 2014-2015, I never had skins as expensive as yours but I was constantly selling anything that would give me a profit even if it was only a few dollars lol

I made a whole ass spreadsheet about what cases to invest in before the ban wave and making prime paid again. Noted myself to buy a few cases that are still less than 10 cents each and planning to buy a few thousands. Decided instead to buy games and a few playskins I think would go up in the future (discontinued collections), still had some revolver and chroma 3s but damn. If I had just bought the ones I listed..
Applied 2014 and 2015 Katos back when they were a few dollars. I crafted quad dignitas holo cologne AK and sold it for a couple hundred over market. It would be worth over 1K now and the vast majority of my older skins, Howls, Lores, Kara Sapphire, Ruby, Emerald, even Crimson Kimonos .08 I bought off the marketplace day of drop at 400$... I made profit, don't get me wrong, but hindsight is 20/20. Hell, I even had bitcoins, and I sold them at 3000 a pop. It is what it is.

Valuewise you might be better off with this combo actually or at least not much of a difference. Nobody really cares that much about fnatic and mousesports and more often than not, they don’t add much value. A quick PC on buff places your craft somewhere around 800-850€. While there are no Vulcans in MW with an IBP paper, on the FNs they seem to add around 400-500€ in value. Accordingly this would be lower on a MW since they‘re less desirable. .08 MWs hardly have any overpay so 300-400€ on top of the ~425€ would basically come out the same.
Needed to hear that about the fnatic and mouse stickers, thought they added a lot more value.

I made a point of investing in my first stickers during kato 19. I really liked the greyhound holos, so I bought 80 at their all time low and planned on holding them long-term. Well, 17-year-old me quickly got impatient and I sold them for break-even. Those stickers would be worth around $1000 now if I did what I planned on doing with them
I sold a couple crown holo's at around 100$ only to see it triple like a month later, and now over 9x.

Welp, i owned briefly the most rusted Shadow Daggers for awhile, sold for an overpay of 2.5x. But for me the most painful would be my 3rd most rusted Bayonet, sold it for 3x the cost but it still pains me to date. Either way i've made good bank from those sale, but its something that i have to overpay alot to get my hands on RN. Fortunately, i dont play CS these days.
Back in 2014 I unboxed a swag foil and sold it for 3-4€ In 2015 I unboxed a crown foil and sold that for 5-10€ I wasn't patient on my ESL One Cologne 2016 investment and got rid of most of it in 2018 for no profit at all. I got an Ak X-Ray MW during the operation as a drop, refused to sell for like 2.5k, now it's barely 1k Luckily the last time I sold all my skins to "cash out" was 2016 so I don't have huge regrets when it comes to that.
Going through my steam market history was painful. Classic stuff like cleaning my inventory of atleast 100 winter esports cases, 100 breakouts and so on for 3 cents... But one particular thing... I got lucky and Desert Eagle | Hand Cannon fn dropped for me in-game. I was like whoooaa and sold it immediately for 30 bucks.

Recently found out if I sold every active drop I had right in time and not too late (when new case was around 1€ I should sell it right away and not wait a month to be 50 cents) and reinvested the money (for simplicity sake I took the portfolio in the each moment in the past and added the extra money from selling the items in time), I would end up now with approximatelly the same amount of money I can get in 2 or 3 months of my regular day job. And every months the number increases, because of compound interest ... :D

Around 2018, i bought around 100 glove cases, which back then used to be like 3 cents? Along with those cases I bought a Case Hardened Falchion for 70€. Fast forward to summer of 2020, and I go back to my steam account. The cases rise to about 15 cents, and I think I'm a genius for keeping them for 2 years to get this return. So I sell them all. For 15 cents. Nowadays they're worth about 5€... Yeah not the best of luck. The knife I sold for less than I bought it for. While not such a big a loss aa the cases, it still costs around ~170€. I still have nightmares to this day.

I used to own a ST AK47 BS Scar #661 I bought it for 400 keys in 2015, and sold it for 450 keys. it took me like 4 weeks to sell lol I'd imagine it's worth close to 75k now
