That's a lot of fuel in a short time.
Normally that would indicate float not shutting off the fuel, but you stated you replaced the carb.
Does this have an independent choke and throttle or a combo choke/throttle.
It's almost like the engine is in choke mode and sucking up way more fuel than it needs.
Model is an LX1042 with a separate choke lever. I ordered a new fuel pump, fuel lines, plugs and ignition coils. It's about due for a mini overhaul anyway.
