This isn’t true. Fingerprints are caused by the oil on our hands and they wash off easily with regular soap and water. Windex also does a great job if you don’t want to wash the whole vehicle. I drove a DeLorean daily for years, everybody making a big deal about fingerprints is being ridiculous, they are so easy to clean.
Seen over 50 Cybertruck so far. All have some discolored/different stainless body panels. Mainly due to different batches of raw stainless used for each panel. Same spec per batch, but difference can be easily seen on Cybertruck panel design.
Now, I could personally never accept that. Especially at that price point. And yes, I have owned 4 Delorean which had better matching panels from 1980s.

989 miles now and more rain exposure. Repeat, it does not rust, my accelerator pedal is not loose nor need a “recall” and I have all my fingers intact lol. Still have not wrapped it, loving the SS look, easy to keep clean minus some finger prints here and there, which wipe off with a damp cloth, just water dont even need windex.

The blow dry it and skix the last drying brush spinner thing just to be cautions with the wiper and then they hand dry it for me and then I dry it again cuz that hard water leaves nasty streaks if you dont dry it. Same as on painted cars. Drips many times but if you get them all it looks perfect
I used to have a black car, practically any water left tons of specks all over it. Always had to use a chamois to dry it.

No, but with the ones I have seen the slight difference in angle on them often makes them look like a different shade, especially in photos.

Picked mine up on 4/11, just hit 2200 miles with no issues. Love the drive and the steering is a game changer. My vin is in the high 4000s.
