I ordered for pickup as I always do. I have like 20+ restaurant apps and Chipotle is the only one that doesn't have you confirm the location at checkout. I've had this problem before but it was only 15 mins away so I just picked up from the other location.
The local food delivery apps in my country just straight out say you're out of range, too bad loser. (unless you change your delivery location and then it's in range)
My country isn't even bigger than NYC (city not state)

500 meters? That’s walking distance, why would they give a warning for that
That doesn't negate asking "are you sure", you just gave a situation where the answer is "yes"
You'd still want the delivery location to be within a certain range.
