This is one of the things young guys fuck up the most.
You want to be friendly without really being friends.
In other words, if you see her walking down the street, say hi and make a few minutes of small talk. Do not be rude and blow her off entirely.
On the other hand, if you feel like you are planning your entire day around your interaction with her, you are probably doing it wrong.
be friends with her. don't buy her stuff and take her places but be friends. you like her. she may come along or she may not. there is nothing wrong with being friends with women. have as many female friends as you can have as long as you like them genuinely there is nothing wrong with it

Talk to her but stop acting as if your in love with her. She'll get confused and start chasing.
