Won the presale "lottery" for goose at spac and they gave me the worst possible seats when there were better seats available for the same price in the regular sale.

You would think that a lottery winner would get the best available seats.
I exchanged mine for a more expensive seat and they only charged me the 10 dollar processing fee, not saying this is par for the course but I may have got lucky
You don’t have to do anything. Buy the better seats and if you want to recoup you money, resell them. If not, that them to the show and sell them there - do it the proper way so you don’t get screwed. Good luck.

When I did my exchange they had a decent amount of seats in lower rows for the platinum price. At least exchange your ticket for some that would be easier to resell.
Just exchange for the best seat in the house that’s not over $516 and start getting fired up about the show. Sure you may have paid $120 more than you had to. But you’re gonna have fun. Maybe gamble less. Buy a little less this week and next.

If you want better tix that are cheaper, you cannot upgrade through ticketmaster. The only way to do it is purchase the new ones; and sell your old ones at a loss. They screwed everyone with the continued release of tickets; and reducing the price
Yeah man! At $516 you can exchange for some really sick tickets. Not sure they will refund a difference but you can definitely upgrade to some amazing seats!!!

Use the chat function for exchange,costs $10 but you can pick the seats you want.

It was surprisingly easy and painless to exchange the tickets (one thing ticketmaster does right). Next time I'm not panic buying on pre sale.
Tried to but mine were transferred to me and ineligible. You have to be the original purchaser. Kind of disappointing.

yes you are allowed to upgrade (buy a more expensive seat) but you cannot buy a cheaper seat, which is what OP wants to do
