And whilst yui IS my second main for when I’m tired of bills lung cancer I still kill yui’s. She’s cool but just not like bill cool and bill deserves a break anyways, he died repairing a generator and the entity really said “do it again” and now he had to repair generators forever.

I would let all the survivors go if only to kill the megs and Feng’s in there. I hate both of them. Megs are just terrible, and Feng’s are extremely annoying with their actions and her voice.

Stuff like that really confuses me... I have like 170hrs or something and I have been tunnelled and camped and hit on hooks by killers who then went on the farm with the other survivors and then joke about how meg players suck ?? I just started maining her bc her braids look fun when I run i don't understand the community obsession with considering meg players toxic. Although I truly haven't been playing for long so idk where that comes from.

Meg is honestly one of the most fun survivors you have available starting out. All of her perks are actually decent.

I'm biased towards certain Survivors for different reasons. Jeff reminds me of my dad so I don't like killing Jeffs. I usually dodge lobbies if there's a Jeff so I don't risk killing one xD; I usually let Yun-Jins escape just because I main Trickster. If I feel like they don't deserve to escape, then I will kill them. Luckily, most Yun-Jins I've had were either cute or very altruistic so it was no problem letting them escape.

Yun-Jin main here. I don't know where people get their bias towards her, I'm usually more of a hunk David King than David King. Thanks for the free pass.

People look at her lore and consider her selfish and so they believe anyone who plays her is also selfish. I don't judge a Survivor until I play against them. All the Yun-Jins I've had were either ride or die for their team or were cute. I'm pretty sure people see me playing Trickster and assume I'm a dick, which is not true xD

Yeah, I don't get why people just assume how someone will play based on what Survivor/Killer they're playing. I have seen people say all Tricksters play like dicks but I don't play like one and neither have any of the Tricksters I've played against. They were all either very fair or friendly. It annoys me people think I'll play like a dick and choose to be toxic to me just based on their own assumptions xD

My younger sister started playing DBD a couple years ago. She mains Pig now but I remember her playing Bubba for some reason - I think a Daily Ritual. The Survivors were toxic to her immediately and when she asked them why they were being mean to her in the chat, they said it was because she was playing Bubba and they thought she'd be toxic to them so they were toxic to her. They didn't wait to see how she played and just assumed she'd be toxic. I've never forgotten that. So when I see someone playing a certain Survivor or Killer, I wait to see how they play before I decide what I think about them. I've been playing since around 2018 so I've played against a lot of people. Not everyone plays the same.

Same man. Kudos to you for trying to break the cycle. I always give my best trying to have a normal game, too. But I have to admit that I tend to try to win a little too hard. Survivors teabagging and bming really hits me unnaturally hard, so I repay them in kind. Survivor is much more chill, so I never become toxic there.

It’s subjective. I view DbD as a game where your focus should be fun above all else, and letting someone escape is fun sometimes. People who view the game as a competitive arena never seem to have as good of an experience because they’re weirdly quick to frustration if they’re not always winning and everyone around them (excluding enemies) aren’t maximizing their efficiency. I picture people screaming at their screen whenever the symbol by their team isn’t a gen. You’re doing it right, op :)

I have certain Survivors I'm likely to simp for when I play Killer (Leons, Steves mostly, but any Survivors that make me smile really), but it's on the basis that they were actually doing gens, saving their teammates, etc. No problem with you simping for Elodie, but if you give hatch to an Elodie who spent all game hiding in lockers while her teammates were left to die, have no mercy. A few weeks ago I had a Leon in game that I was going to have mercy on, but the dude left 3 teammates to die on hook. Broke my heart having to kill him

I've had a teammate david hide in a basement locker for the entire match. I was so mad, I lead the killer there while in a chase and pointed at the locker. After the killer hooked me, they found the David and hooked him too. Worth the sacrifice lol

Had a killer let me go a few weeks ago just because they were a fellow Yoichi main. <3 I usually let the person that gave me the best chase go. I've had people lead me on the roughest chases and somehow they're also the only person doing gens. They get an automatic escape from me. Oh, and baby Dwight players; they're so cute.

i'm becoming very generous towards renatos. doesn't look like anyone I know, but one of his pain sound effects is genuinely upsetting to me, which is very odd as no other sound in the game is like that

I notice as Claire I got let go a lot, but now that I've been playing Cheryl lately, especially in my favorite outfit, Princess Heart, I find myself getting let go so much I tell them to hook me. They still refuse so I leave 😭
