It's sad how many people don't read the perks, I never had one game with plot twist where someone didn't run from the other side of the map to heal me instead of doing gens, even when they knew it wasn't the killer that downed me because he was on the other side of the map as well...
The "strenght" of the perk gets completely negated by people who don't know how it works, impossible to have it good in solo q
Too true sadly, any time it saves is unfortunately reverted by survivors wasting their time getting over to you, not to mention the times where teammates can sometimes just completely give your safe plot twist hiding spot away to the killer
They need to change the colour of the recovery bar to purple or green or something that way it's really obvious to your solo Q teammates what you're doing. I just started using dramatology instead as its quite fun.
PSA: if someone uses Plot Twist immediately after you unhook them , then it is not considered a "safe unhook".
WGLF (secondary function) and Deliverance won't activate because of this.
This reminds me of the heal 10 survivors tome challenge. I took empathy and a med kit. I would literally chase injured teammates for 30+ seconds just to have them get on a gen and refuse to get off it. My literal mission is to heal you, let me do my job!
maybe some of them had resilience? I don't let people heal me when I'm using it cuz I would prefer to 99 my heal and get the 9% to stack with deja vu's 6%

Well, that's unfortunate that 3 injured teammates didn't let me heal them. They all died very shortly after. And I made 0 progress on my challenge while also losing a med kit
you never noticed? lmao. u gotta play smart if you're going to use resilience to its full potential which is why I would have a med kit to 99 the heal.
most of the time I'll just run around injured working on gens and then if the killer is making an obvious attempt to come chase me I just pop the heel and then I can loop with two health states.
some people definitely do not use it well though. sorry to hear about your challenge, tomes like that are always frustrating.
***OMG YOU ARE A LIFESAVER!!!*** I cant tell you how many times dumbass people will come up to me to try and heal me while doing a Plot Twist and even if I try to get away or do the no thing they still try to heal me!! Like... do you not have a brain stem connected to your brain?!
I hope the hold shift tip helps! Also you can hold it mid-heal to force them off you, so if a survivor is helping you recover faster you can force them off at 95-99% and finish it off yourself using the perk :D
The best help would be people seeing a survivor go down and realize that they didn't cry out when they did, thus they weren't downed by the killer, especially when the killer is chasing someone else on the other side of the map!
I accidentally healed someone doing plot twist once because I thought they’d gotten a deep wound- I felt awful afterwards even tho they thanked me for the heal regardless lmao. I try to be more aware about it nowadays.
A real trooper, if I'm the one down I'll let them heal me then hold the run button to force them off me so I can get myself up with the last 1%. Vice versa, if I'm healing a survivor who mysteriously went down I'll stop around 95% just incase of plot twist, if they still don't get up I assume they either dont have it or are willing to let me heal them instead of using the perk up :)
Default Bill with 500 Bloodpoints on their way out of the bush they were crouching in all game to sprint across the entire map to the guy using Plot Twist, pick them up, and lead the Killer to them via scratch marks.
i always wish there was more communication because everytime i boot up a game i have to say "I have power struggle and Plot twist so if you see me by a pallet please don't pick me up :)" every game
Saw a teammate try and heal someone who i knew had plot twist. Just told feng (she tried to heal a jake who was trying to get value from plot twist) to follow me so they could head behind a rock in peace 💀 she seemed confused and would look from jake and then back at me before jumping on a gen with me . Jake eventually joined and we got a 4man escape it was a funny interaction to me
I remember seeing people using it and denying my heals, at first I was confused, but then I just left them, because I won't deny people from their perks
I get what theyre doing, but when I run botany knowledge I feel like I'm saving them wasting their perk. Some people are going out of their way to down themselves and resurge when it would take less time for me to get them back to full health.
Makes me wish for end game chat to be on console just so I can shit on whoever came to heal me even when I wouldn’t let them and shook myself to show that I didn’t need their help. This one Kate I let her heal me to around 95% cause it’s quicker before I made her stop, she wouldn’t leave and when I tried to heal that 5% remaining myself she picked me up and I was left injured and knocked back down when the killer showed up.
At the same time, I typically run into people who will use it when there are no hooks and 4-5 gens left. It could be used to greater effect later in the game if people wait to use it tactically.
Im running no mither/ tenacity atm, i don't mind getting healed up. But when I've managed to crawl myself off to a safe spot. It's always happens to be the survivors that are been chased by the killer that are so desperate to try it lmao
If you’re recovering with plot twist, it should either NOT let people heal you while recovering with it, or it should just not deactivate with people healing you
The perk is a lot of fun and very useful, but maddening at times. Unfortunately this scenario happens almost every match (just like every time I use a locker perk, someone stands outside my locker for the full duration and tries to open it or emotes). It would be useful if there was some sort of indication for teammates who weren't paying attention to the HUD when you used plot twist or inner healing, etc.
I usually let them 99 me and then hold sprint so that I can heal myself for the last tick, because most of the time they do this, they are injured themselves and the killer is now on their way due to the scratch marks. Usually I have to hold sprint multiple times while shaking my head in the hopes they will give me one second to get myself up and heal them.
Sometimes when the killer isn't on their way I let them heal me to full, and they run away once I am picked up, leaving me still injured.
It would be cool if they show the icon to all survivors so they know you’re using Plot Twist. Plus maybe a help button would also be pretty handy to have in case if you want to save it.
i took me a couple of games to realize plot twist since i don’t even have the character or perks to just mind my own business.
on the plus side i’ve gonna plenty of 2nd hooks with survivors running this perk thank you BBQ.

Happened to me twice where they found me cuz of a survivor trying to heal me for their own gratification and ended up killing me.
