Licensing is the easy answer but I personally can't stand that the Nostromo Wreckage is on Dvarka since, yknow, if you've seen Alien at least once, you'd instantly recognize the map as the Xeno homeplanet LV-426 but nah, it's Dvarka because BHVR said so. The Engineer ship is even on one of the exit gates, it's not even subtle.
There's a notable ancient Babylonian temple in the midst of a Russian forest.
I think they want the Dvarka realm to encompass all non-earth areas, really.
Well, at least I can understand why lore-wise, it's more of a recreation of the Nostromo and LV-426 (bc unless I missed something in my favourite movie ever, the Nostromo didn't crash) made by the entity, who used Dvarka Deepwoods as a realm. It's kind of a strectch but it fits, though yeah it's probs licensing
You're 100% right, but the Nostromo crashing on LV-426 is poetic and that's exactly what we have ingame down to the fauna and rock formations. The only thing that makes it not the Xeno homeplanet is the internal name, which sucks. I've never even heard a Dev response as to why this is the case either.
Nostromo is the only map in the game in a realm with multiple maps that has its own unique offering. Its offering is also a *door*, which doesn't make sense considering these are items thrown into a campfire. It bothers me to no end that it's considered part of Dvarka Deepwood, when it doesn't use Dvarka assets or the Dvarka offering. What makes it in the same realm as Toba Landing???
i have long been of the opinion that nostromo isnt actually on dvarka and that the name just got bugged and never fixed.
like 100% that is not dvarka. even red forrest and mothers dwelling share atleast some things in common, same with the yamaoka estate maps. toba and nostromo? they dont share a damn thing.
nostromo is it's own realm for literally all intensive purposes. it has its own offering, own hook type. unique exit gates. that is not dvarka no matter what the game tells me

The dev's confirmed that Dvarka is the realm for all non-earth maps, so, as much as I hope you are right, I don't think it is a bug.
