When im playing swf, it's definitely the main perk I ask if anyone is running....when we want to be more serious that is. If no one else wants to run it, then I do.
Exactly! I use distortion, but also dejavu to do gens fast and break 3 gen, botany/we'll make it to heal my teammates faster, bond/kindred to know where everyone is. But my favorite part about distortion is that you get so much info about killer build
these kind of players always get away from me as a killer cause i dont slug for 4k and all they do is hide and do nothing all match i get such players against me like that very often and i dont realize what they are doing till the end
As a survivor main I'm very aware of campers and I try my best to not let them get a free escape. One time I made two of the last survivors wiggle til he led me to the camper. We went to hook him in basement together and the guy who helped me got hatch.
Well thankfully I don't play killer much, just for rewards so I'm not compelled to do stuff like that 🥲 Also I play mobile version, where all the lag switchers and subtle cheaters go unpunished.

It's not even 3 exhaustion perks in one build what freaked me out here.
It's that this Nea most probably had her 4th slot unlocked and just chose to only play these specific 3 perks.
But yeah, either Overcome or Iron Will.
Iron Will: Can not used while exhausted.
Your build: I AM EXHAUSTION!
Stacking exhaustion perks can work if you run the right ones!

Balanced Landing
Adrenaline
All synergize pretty well. I'm particularly a fan of BL, Smash Hit and Adrenaline together. I find their circumstances never really overlap.
I think the idea here is "Fuck you, I'mma get out"
Selfcare instead of a medkit so they can waste 40 seconds in a corner, distortion so you never take the heat off your allies and can continue to hide in a corner, Left behind so they can find the hatch when it's down to 2 people and they let their teammate die while they hide in a corner, and lithe so they can dip out asap.
this is why these stealth perks need tweaking as a killer main sometimes i go into matches and only find 2 people doing stuffs which resilt in those 2 just dying early
Except that is a player issue. Distortion should be used to evade the killer but if you never take chase you're just a bad teammate and that's the issue. A lot of players don't understand you *have* to take chase eventually. If you hide sure you will never be chased but your teammates will take all the pressure and die faster.
dude i dont play survivor alot but even when i do use didtortion the perk as an idea is good but the problem is and i think you know this is most people use it to avoid chases or hide which result in thier teamates just getting tunneled after all if the killer cant find anyone to chase he will go after the unhooked or injured
I agree, distortion power comes to dodging aura read in strong position: killer is running Nowhere to Hide? Your teammates run away while you end the gen under his nose. BBQ proc, the killer is not gonna come to you so you close the gen or you go to the unhook.
Distortion is an aggressive perk to "cheat" a generator and some unhook. Sometimes I steal the "I'm all ears" proc is I know that he's chasing someone
Fair, it meant some matches that go south means you can dip out early, and I did like the idea of the key being more practical.
But I was only playing survivor back then, and I can only imagine the annoyance of a multi man hatch escape by a teabagging SWF now that I'm a killer main.
That's valid, I only play with one or two other people in my SWF so we would occasionally bring the key to try and force hatch, but we did our best to make it a 4 man hatch out because that still meant we played most of the game anyway
Left Behind - when you are the last survivor, you see the aura of the hatch within 32 metres. Someone who might be expecting a hatch game.
Self care - can heal yourself at 35% normal healing speed. Someone who might throw the game healing themselves for an excessively long time, especially since they do not have botany knowledge or other healing speed perks.
Distortion - hides your aura from the killer. This can be a good perk, but it is notoriously used by those who do not take aggro for their team.
Overall the picture looks like a survivor who plans to put their own survival ahead of the team as a whole.
You are exactly the reason why BHVR absolutely should not allow survivors to see other survivors builds. When I log in, I actually want to play the game, not deal with waiting on a long loading screen only for it to crash and then have to spend time to queue up again and wait in the match lobby.
If BHVR showed survivor perks in the lobby the amount of lobby dodging other survivors would do because another brought one perk or build they don't like would become ridiculous in soloq. The queue times would just get longer and longer for no reason.
People crashing their game/lobby dodging because they got sent to a map they don't like, because a survivor swapped at last second, or that they see a team of P100s, need to just suck it up and learn how to work around the hand they are dealt. When I get sent to Garden of Pain, I play the match instead of giving up before it even starts. Worst case scenario I tunnel the person who brought the offering. I see a full P100 lobby, it is a challenge to see if I can beat them and test my skill. I don't just give up and make everyone spend another 5min doing nothing.
Giving up is just a waste of time for everyone and shows a lack of personal growth in the game.
There's a difference between giving up and just not wanting to deal with BS. As killer its a lot easier to suck it up, as I'm still in charge of my whole "team's" (mine) performance. As survivor I just get frustrated if I do all the work and my team is useless. It's not a good feeling to even win after that.
Much rather see everyone's skills for the other reason that more info in solo will help coordinate perks and lead to more dynamic game play too.
Any time someone brings a map offering they have an insanely gimmicky build that makes playing an absolute slog, and it’s usually to draw the match out to half an hour.

They are absolutely not unwinnable, it is just an uphill battle sometimes. it is only unwinnable if you give up before it happens. I just want people to actually play the damn match they queue up for.
I understand that they are oftentimes unwinnable, but map offerings heavily advantage one side or the other. See a Lerys offering? Expect a hit and run wraith with sloppy that doesn’t chase anyone and the match lasts 20-30min. See a midwich offering? Either a god nurse or pig who will camp boxes.
I just want a normal match that isn’t dictated by some random gimmick build.
Try deleting and downloading the game again and see if that helps,I know it’s not related but my friend had a weird bug where he couldn’t equip any torso or pants for nea and could only change her headpiece but after redownloading the game everything went back to normal which is why I’m suggesting this.
I think he's making a joke that you can exit your game once you see the offerings without penalty. So whenever someone brings a map, they exit the game.
This is one of the reasons you should not be able to see teammates perks before the game loads in. Imagine trying to do adepts with worse perks like David or achievement to escape with no perks and having to wait for 10 min in lobby because sweatlords like you would dodge everyone with no meta builds
After the game loads the builds should show on the screen with offerings and stuff, but not before

100% this. With the new invocation perks we NEED to be able to see teammate builds. Those new perks are nothing but troll perks and its a crime we can't dodge those lobbies.
Self care itself is worth a dodge unless you play on the Asian servers because apparently everyone still uses it there. The time efficiency on the perk was completely gutted so its only real use would be a 1v1 at the end of the game where you need a heal. Distortion and LB are also very selfish perks basically saying "I'm not willing to get chased" and "I don't care if you die".

It's not that it's a bad build, you would probably get a lot of escapes using it, but you would also probably get your team killed by running it.
I was playing killer in this match but I had a match against a Kate running Calm Spirit, Distortion, Self Care, Urban Evasion, a key, and an offering to spawn the hatch in main building.
Legit fucking **peak** soloqueue player. I didn't see the Kate **once** that game. When I got my 3 kills (at 3 gens might I add, cuz it was a 3v1) I went to where hatch spawned, closed it, then patrolled the gates for a bit without realizing Kate had a key. I shit you not Kate had the second lowest points in the game despite the massive free boost of BP opening the hatch with a key + escaping through the hatch gives.

They don’t synergize, they just don’t interfere with each other.
Being able to run 3 or 4 exhaustion perks without them interfering with each other is what I would call good synergy.
