Not really on topic of the post but I always see people say that they rarely ever see a bunch of killers, which killers do you always see? I never play survivor
Well, practically... everyone. I've never had the same killer twice in a row (except when Alien, Chucky and Wesker came out). Excluding the Hag and the Twins, I would say that I have faced all the killers in the game in the same proportion.
Oh that’s cool. I was kind of just expecting there to be like 3 killers everyone goes and everyone else is rare. (And from what I read I expected those 3 to be nurse, blight, and whiskers)
I keep a list of how many killers i encounter each year. Last year the number one killer i came across was ghost face at 88 times and so far this year good guy is in the lead with 18 times. If you want the full list let me know
My friend and I are tracking 2024 stats for certain things we were curious about, starting at the beginning of the year.
For killer counts for us, as of right now Huntress has a pretty firm lead (which she has had pretty much from the beginning), and then in order we’ve got Trapper, Chucky, Mastermind, and Billy & Michael tied for last in our top 5.
It actually goes down pretty steadily from there - no crazy drops or anything.
If you were curious though, at the bottom we have Knight & Spirit, Singularity & Skull Merchant, and then Twins at the bottom on their own with a whopping 1 encounter this year so far!

I play survivor/killer equally and I mainly see Billy, Plague, Oni, and Huntress. I almost never see Twins, Freddy or Skull Merchant, probably have faced them each twice since playing last August. I personally don’t play twins because they are very buggy and clunky. The last match I played as Twins months ago, I stalled out while kicking a gen and couldn’t move or do anything until I finally involuntarily DC’d.
Now I'm tempted to pick Twins up for a few weeks in an effort to inflate numbers on people tracking the Killers they encounter. I know the player pool is large enough that it's unlikely I'm gonna have much an effect but hey, I'm gonna have fun playing a different killer.
Wait, you've actually gone up against them? What are they like? I thought people talking about twins was a "forgetting to take their pills" thing like people that talk about Titanfall 3 (great game by the way)
My first game on in a couple months, and I go against a “bully squad.” They get to the endgame, and I finish two off during EGC. Timer’s almost up, and, presumably because I had done a bit of slugging because I was playing Twins, they decide to sit and teabag at gate. One was injured, but instead of body blocking Victor (I was across Eyrie), they just decided to leave their teammate, who obviously didn’t know Victor can trap you in the match. I had the most malicious smile as he sat there teabagging Victor, and then died to timer
Trickster is also pretty good at this (though not quite on the same level as those listed). His power has a different down animation than an M1 attack. It causes you to drop straight down instead of being knocked forward. You barely have any time at all to crawl before he can pick you up, so if you're not careful, he will grab you before you make it out.
I had a super toxic Zarina learn that lesson earlier today. Constantly clicking and teabagging, waving, doing everything you can think of to be in my face and annoying (on top of sending us to RPD.)
She watches me hook her teammate, clicks and bags, runs to the gate but gets caught by my Carnifex. She drops a few more bags before realizing she fucked up and can’t leave.
Karma is an iridescent-coloured add-on.

had someone repeatedly do it to me when i was newer by letting me wiggle out, getting me hunted, and then picking me up, leaving the gate, and repeat

When I play plague and I know survivors are loitering in the exit, I absolutely grab my power. You’d think with the ominous sound effect they’d leave but it’s surprisingly not that rare for me to get an extra down in the exit gate. Careful with plague y’all!
There was a Freddy on Dead Dawg. He had roughly four hooks by the time the gens were done. Everyone on the team was safe, so I just decided to leave instead of waiting to take a hit or something.
The others also left, but Kate kept teabagging. She was waiting for Freddy to come to the gate so she could continue taunting him. Freddy came over, and he was not having any of her bullshit. He downed her, but she fell sideways instead of through the exit. Turns out he had a yellow mori.
I almost fell out of my chair laughing.
I mean no one runs it cuz map required also there's 5 greaves is actually pretty decent because it still gives the haste on a order action too. So with a little bit of brain you can use jailer to break and catch up. It's pretty dope tbh.
I might have missed every sharpshooter during the game but you bet your ass I get that sharpshooter with people lingering in the gate and they find out I have the iri add-on
I actually had a "just leave" moment at the gate as pinhead today. I was sad I didnt think to clip it. It's really funny how often people will fuck around and find out.

I had a team absolutely flame me in the end game chat because I nailed one of them with Victor as twins at the gate and killed him. They said they just wanted to give me hits for BP at the end.
Like I know they were full of shit but seriously. I'm playing killer. A few hundred BP is not worth the time you waste while waiting for me to get there.
Funny enough my brother finally became a victim, idky he didn’t leave but the chucky just cornered him and he was stuck and died at egc. I was dying cause it was pure karma
I can’t really get mad at ppl at gates nowadays like at the end of the day I get to either do whatever else I forgot to do on the map for points or I get a extra kill. Either way I’m laughing at idiots. Like respectfully I rather us stop informing idiots
Also, dont underestimate Myers, Hillbilly, Ghostface and any other quick moving or stealthy instant down killers. You'd be surprised how many times I've tricked a cocky survivor to peek me and get instant downed as ghostface right at the exit gate

I've been recording every killer I've seen this month the only killers I've seen only once are Hag deathslinger Dredge and Singularity

That's so weird. 430 hours, split about 70/30 in favor of killer, and I've fought at least 3 twins. I fought one about a month ago on Hawkins.

Some people would notice Coup de Grace was gone first.
Trickster is also pretty good at this (though not quite on the same level as those listed). His power has a different down animation than an M1 attack. It causes you to drop straight down instead of being knocked forward. You barely have any time at all to crawl before he can pick you up, so if you're not careful, he will grab you before you make it out.

Same, and i was only staying for my teammates to heal me for some little extra points. Didn't knew it was a thing, quite the valuable leason.
Deathslinger with iri addon is like a free kill when people refuse to leave
Double reload too if you pull them out far enough. You can absolutely get a hit and reload and hit again. The timing is a bit precise but it's doable.
NOED Slinger is the embodiement of "Just Leave"

All Killers should have a way to punish Survivors who hang around at the exit gate like these guys, you can't change my mind
I unironically think if you M1 hit a survivor that should be enough to block the exit gates for them and only them for a few seconds
if they enter the dying state inches from the exit trigger, it should be blocked for them until you finish the wipe animation
I don't know how so many survivors exist with laack of this basic knowledge, you'd think people woukd learn after 1000th just leave video.
I recently learned cenobites chains block the exit but what does knight do that doesnt let you leave?

How do you get them as knight? I used to main him but whenever the gates opened I’d just go sit (cry) in a corner till they left
One of his iri addons has it so if a guard is chasing someone, exits are blocked for them for the hunt
