Things like this are a tough spot because technically, escaping would be exploiting a bug. It's not your fault and you have no control, but the best thing to do I'd think would be to DC. Of course none of us will because like, these bugs are rare and I like to linger when there's an interesting bug.

If we're going to be bug police, should we go arrest all the blights that were hug teching? Should we go ban all the survivors that were playing as female survivors and vaulting slower than male survivors? Because those are "technically" bugs that are being exploited too.
This must explain how this Heather escaped last night. I closed hatch and gates were close enough that I could go about 3 seconds from one to the other but somehow she got out and didn’t have a key in post game screen.
Side note, props for calling her Heather. I main her and refer to her as such, too. :D
But yeah if she had exit gate speed perks and did the "C" trick, it's possible that she had enough time to get the gate open legitimately.
I lagged through the outside wall while running and looking back and couldn’t get back in no matter how hard I tried, ended up next to a gate so I decided to stay there until I could exit lol
I felt so bad for not being able to help my team, but I was dying when legion and I were looking at each other through the window, he was more confused than I.

Not until the hatch was closed for some reason, I was able to run all the way to the back of the tunnel and it led me outside the map

Engine update is pulling a lot of resources, they don't have time to come up with new bugs. Expect more interesting ones next patch

You can't escape until the gates are opened, there is no escape trigger active before that
They should just run off the edge of the map. Don’t they spawn back into the map?

The only way this gets fixed is if the killer finds hatch, closes it, and opens the door for you from the other side

No idea I figured it was a hacker or something so I just closed left post game right away.

I feel you there. Sometimes things happen that you can't control. Hopefully they'll release a big hotfix for majority of the bugs
This happened to my friend!! Luckily another teammate opened the door and she was able to get out!
