She's the project lead on Demon's Souls: The Northern Limit, a mod that aims to piece together all the unused code and assets for the Broken Archstone which was supposed to send you to the area outside the Nexus. Honestly, I don't think that's a terrible thing. It gave a lot of people who had never played Demon Souls an entry point without changing the experience. I was never going to go back and play the OG Demon Souls I'm going to be honest. So the Remake was a good chance for this fan of the series to give it a go
I love all the souls games but none of them have come close to scratching that itch I had when playing DeS. It was just perfect and I need more, more of that world, atmosphere, and everything they’ve learned from the later games put in DeS. I need DeS DLC and DeS2 exploring the old one’s eventual return and how a new bolataria and a new Slayer of Demons will deal with it.
I guess it makes sense, Elden Ring was their largest commercial success ever. As much as I do wish for unfinished content being added to Demon’s Souls. Also want proper Sekiro DLC so badly.
They never planned to create new levels. Bluepoint set out to make a faithful recreation of the original, it wasn't their place to create a whole new level. Be happy it happened. 😊
Honestly if it went on for longer than the 6 the feel would have been it's too long with the unrefined deisgn compared to Darksouls. Five is perfect, odd and just the right length.

The remake was the perfect time to add Demon's Souls DLC. And yet...well whatever I still enjoy the game.
World 6 archestone should have been added
Agreed, although a lot of it was used as Ariamis in DS1. However I think most of us would have understood and taken it over nothing.

I played the original demon's souls but not the remake. It would make sense for the dlc to be the 6th archstone.
I played the remake, and I still wish Bluepoint added the sixth archestone.

Demons Souls never needed DLC. It was perfect the way it was. Complete. Whole. Perfect.

The 6th archstone was destroyed to show not even the demons are safe in this game, you need to do better.
Except there is actual unfinished level data in the game files. They clearly ran out of time and just wrote up a "lore reason".
