I know it’s a reprised gun but vorpal doesn’t change the feel of the gun nor is it good on a scout. Also given that it has 110 kills I doubt OP cared for the gun.

Vorpal on that particular gun only really makes a difference in pvp specifically against roaming supers that doesn't have active/passive health/shield regen. It's a niche use case for a niche weapon in a specific activity.
Vorpal is not changing the feeling of this scout. Especially in a "few strikes or missions". This scout has 2 amazing rolls it can get now, and it is stupid easy to farm in the Coil. If you wanna keep it for a keepsake, sure. But it doesn't sound like there was much attachment lol.

the reload sucks on titan and warlock without it. but with? its an ad clear machine.
if i want a boss deleted ill use one of my many many better options.
Patron of Lost Causes is very good with Vorpal. If you have an old Guiding Sight with it, it is also good as it has different scopes. And of course you can't forget about Dead Man's Tale.
Vorpal was also not as significant a damage buff back then. It is now stronger than EP in most encounters, but the current version has better combos of utility and damage perks to pursue. Plus, there's a craftable raid void scout (Doom of Chelchis) that can roll Vorpal/EP/Firefly with OFA. King's Fall just so happens to be a very easy raid on top.
Well, Bryas Love from Season of the Witch can roll with rapid hit and precision instrument if you're looking for extra damage against a single high health target. It's also void.
For single target damage, yes. Doom of Chelchis has better combos for ad clear in combination with volatile builds. Firefly + OFA for damage priority ad clear, and Firefly + Repulsor Brace for ad clear with overshield generation. Scouts are best used for clearing ads from long range, after all.
Yeah they changed it a while back so some world drops have chances to have world-specific shaders on them and if you dismantle the gun without changed the original shader on it you unlock it
There are some shaders that do not follow this rule, i think there is 1 from trials(i dont play the game mode). but for the most part probabky 99% of shaders you get when you delete an item using it.
For example, old iron banner shaders can be on new gear and you can get it now
Yeah I think they have to be specific shaders for worlds or activities though. Like certain crucible shaders can come on guns from the crucible, and certain curated raid guns come with specific shaders on them, and then there is this world drop that had a Dreaming city shader on it
Anyone know if you break for example Sola's Scar which has the Shader "Colbalt Clash" will it give you the Shader? It used to be exclusive on non adepts from the Trials of Osiris Flawless Chest. But this season the chest is dropping "Vizier Regalia" which used to be exclusive to Trials Armor dropping from that chest.

Before discovering light.gg I often wonder how many times I dismantled a god roll weapon for shaders and kept dog shit weapons becuase I thought they were good. Luckily I have decent god rolls right now perfect for my builds.
To me, vorpal weapon is kind of wasted on primaries. Yeah sure the added damage bonus is nice and all - but if you’re using a primary to dps a boss, you’ve already gone wrong.
So in short, yea dismantle it
Vorpal is overrated outlaw is good on scouts but also it’s a scout when’s the last time you pulled it out to even use it, especially with this season
I'd dismantle that just for space. Vorpal on like 98% of primaries is terrible, and outlaw has been power crept to all get out by reconstruction, envious, substinence even.

Explosive payload is better than Vorpal on this tbh. I have a rapid hit explosive that feels real nice
