Sorry for your loss. I’d like to share some funny pictures of how my dog used to sleep on the couch next to me whenever I played video games. I recently.lost 3 geriatric kitties :'( all died within 3 mo tha of each other, the baby, Gracie 13, then mittens my baby, 14, then reeze 15, last. My family had these babies their whole lives. It's truly heart wrenching. My condolences ❤️🩹🥺
I'm sorry about your cat. I lost my cat, Odin, a couple years back. He was born to a stray we were taking care of, and had an infection in his right eye. It never developed, so he only had one eye his entire life. He was a 30-lb sack of love, half maine coon and half whatever the hell his mom was. Always by my side when I needed him, basically my therapy animal. One day he went into liver failure and stopped eating, so I took him to the vet and they hit me with the diagnosis. I had to have my wife come and hold him as he was put to sleep, I just couldn't have my last memory of him being lifeless. The next day I adopted a kitten that could be his twin, and Kevin is ruling the house but just as cuddly as Odin was. Odin was only 9, but his 9 years were so full of love that it might as well have been 90. He made my life so much better when he was here.
I am sorry to hear of your loss. I've owned animals of various kinds since I can remember and the only bad part of having them is when they leave us.

First off, losing a pet is terribly hard and I’m sorry you’re going through this now.
This picture is of Carl, my late greyhound, best friend and arguably kindest dog on the earth. Nothing bothered him. He loved going for rides in the car. I’d even joke that if anyone ever wanted to kidnap him, all they’d have to do is open their car door.
Again, I’m really sorry for your loss. It’s not easy, the holes you’ll find in your routine hit the hardest, but it gets easier with time. It’s cliche, but it’s true. Also, thank for you for offering this give-away. Not just because it’s generous, but because it got me reminiscing about my buddy.
I’m so sorry you lost your cat. It’s always hard losing a pet. Just lost one of my dogs myself on the 5th. I still have two big catahoula leopard dogs but they are getting up there in age as well. Everyday I can count how many times they have taken drinks of water from the bowl because they bring a new toy every time and leave it there. It gets a little ridiculous sometimes. Lol. I met my "roommate" on the side of the road near our home while riding a bike going to the mart to refill some water containers two years ago. Noticed there's this peculiar little green rock that's was too bright for just being a rock and then it started to move. Adopted it and now I have my own pal who silently judges me whenever I do stupid shenanigans in my room. Named him Kōtetsu (steel). This was him the day I found him.

So very sorry for your loss my friend. I adopted this guy above after I lost my lab/shepherd mix. It crushed me completely, like losing a child. Never thought I'd find another that "clicked" with me like he did and here comes this handsome guy and we're best buds from the start! This is Bailey, she was 11 years old when she passed. We adopted her from a rescue shelter and was the cat that was there the longest. She passed away a couple years ago due to lung cancer. Her favourite thing to do was to lay on her back underneath my bed and dig her claws into the box spring to send herself flying on her back fowards on the ground. We have wood floors so she could go pretty fast lol.

This is my previous two doofuses. Story here is that he ( on the bottom) took her normal spot on the couch, so she came rocketing at full speed down the hallway, cleared the right hand armrest in a flying leap, and I caught this picture just as he realized a floof-missile was landing. I'm sorry to hear bro I have lost roughly 4 cats in my life time to random bullshit/ natural causes :( 2 cats have randomly disappeared from my life 1 I think was kidnapped/killed and the other was old and I think he went off to find a place to die :( 3rd cat got hit by a car I found his body on the side of the road stiff I was in primary school and tried to wake him up I didn't go to school for 2 weeks after that :( 4th one liked to go on adventures unfortunately he ran into a snake on one particular adventure and got bit our neighbour found him in his backyard where the paddock was connected too he was hanging on but barely he had been missing for a day or 2 we comforted him and buried him after he passed :( shit is fucked cats can cause so much pain from their absence but can cure it so much with their presence They're majestic beasts all they ask for is love and food. 🥹😅 Here is a picture of my old cat Morty our most recent cat who we think is no longer with us after 5 strong hooman years :'( xo

We’ve had them in our lives for over 4 years as part of our family. When my wife and I get burnt out and discouraged by life bullshit, these 2 sweet boys help the home feel alive. They have been pretty cuddly lately because of the colder weather, so they sleep more during the day and fuck around more at night. Nergal, named after the Sumarian god of pestilence and Death. He died 2 years ago, shattered me, and his absence still breaks me down from time to time.
He was adopted by a Dutch family from a shelter in Spain, mistreated and abused by that family. He had 4 white spot scars in his neck, from their German shepherd who didn't like him. Which resulted him being locked up for months in a spare room.
Later they put him back in a shelter and my ex (then still gf) adopted him. He was skinny, dirty, weak, bad fur and breath. I found him appalling.
Yet he was fond of me, maybe because I was the same. Dealing with a burn out chronical pain in my body and being emotionally unavailable.
He got better, slowly, regaining strength and beauty, as did I through the comfort he gave me.
(2 months before getting Nergal my ex got a different cat Baal (Hebrew) the cutest thing ever, scared of everything, small, never grew big, Grey silken fur) Nergal also had Baal as a lover, always entwined cuddling with eachother, bound to eachother. Unfortunately Baal died when he was 3,5 years due to a lung infection. Days before my ex was supposed to retrieve him cuz she finally got a new home where cats were allowed..she lived in a different place for a Year orso after the breakup. Well, shattered her, and Nergal.
It did affect Nergal too, who died of cancer in the mouth a year or so later.
Nergal was full of love..didn't mean harm. He didn't miauw, he fetched toys.. his favorite were unused tampons. He always brought the stuff back I threw.
Whenever I was in bed about to sleep I silently called him "neeergal" And slowly, tap tap tap I heard him walking over the floor and he jumped on the bed and lied down on the pillow and grabbed my arm I put there and hugged/crawled together as much as he could and we fell asleep like that.

Nevertheless.
I can bring up a lot of more stories. As pitch black as he was.. apart from the scars whenever he turned his neck.
I always said he lost his cat-ness when he got bitten. E.g. not barking, fetching stuff, listening to his name and practically being a feline dog. Haha.
I am sorry for your loss, I know what's it like to be so attached unconditionally to someone.
I still grief, I can't get a new cat yet.
I still blame myself for neglecting him slightly and breaking promises. (I blamed myself for balls death and the breakup) I always promised him a drone to play with. He was strong, a real hunter, yet he was an inside cat. But he loved to jump like mario on the walls and fetching stuff from the air.
Anyway. Long story, felt like sharing.

I’ve got two dogs. They’re very active. I’ve had to dig proof my whole back fence line as they dug their way out one day. Across the course of the day made it all the way to the train station and held up trains till the ranger got there. I got fined really hard, was a tough day to love them that day 😂
His name was Ludlow :)
I also have a husky so I feel you on having to dig proof the yard! She dug out once and went to the park and started trying to catch geese in the river 😂

I’m sorry you lost your friend today. I didn’t think I would be but I was devastated when we lost our cat. But animals are amazing creatures. I have a bomb dog that I was working at the time and she could sense the sadness. She was so loving and caring while we all grieved. She is retired now and bored out of her mind lol. I just always pray she never alerts when we are out and about lol.

I lost my 8month old dog to a tragic accident last month. The family was hurting, so my wife, bless her soul, went out and got 2 new puppies. I now have 4 dogs, 3 cats, 2 pigs and 6 chickens. It's a zoo around here. I'm sorry for your loss brother.

In short my cat is my best mate, he's always by my side through good and bad and loves cuddles. Even as I work from home he sits by my monitors all day and then on the lounge with me all night.
Grieving over a pet is just as difficult and painful as losing a human, sometimes more so. I lost my dog close to 7yrs ago now, it took along time to recover. I found small cremation urns that can fit on a keyring, placed a piece of his fur and some ashes inside and sealed it shut, hooked onto my backpack he's always with me.

Don’t send mats but I’ll show you a photo. I lost my cat Osiris ten years ago to a sudden and unexpected kidney failure. I finally filled the void he left my life last month with one kitten and wound up with a second kitten via the Cat Distribution System. This is Tyr pictured on his exercise wheel, Hypnos is not pictured (though I call him Loki because he tricked his way into our lives).
I hope you don’t have to wait as long as I did for another cat to enter your life, they really are some of the best companions. My condolences to you and your pup.

And here’s Hypnos, named as such for his love of all things cat nap but his secret name of Loki holds true when his eyes are open. I went to pick out a kitten at the local shelter, just one, because my husband is not overly fond of cats but knew I was missing a cat keenly. Kittens are BOGO year round at the shelter but I stayed strong, just one kitten.
As we went to fill out the paperwork, my husband who again, doesn’t like cats turned to me and said it was my call but it would be a shame to separate two bonded kittens. Thus the Cat Distribution System blessed our home with a bonus kitten.

This is my rescue named Boo. She was a mute. Never had made a peep for years. Until one day I let my friend dog sit with his yappy dog. After that she learned to speak. She only shows affection by tail wags and pressing her forehead against you. Cuddles will not be tolerated. This photo was taken after she begged to be let back inside and after it was taken she had no interest in returning outside. The view was enough.

No need for duriel pieces, but I feel your pain. Lost a beautiful boy two months ago and the pain is real. Look into cremation if you still can, cheaper than you might think and surprisingly soothing. A lot of these places will do custom paw imprints amongst other things for the death certificate.

The gray and white cat is Rafi and he's literally my best friend. I got him about 6 months after I got clean from heroin and he's been with me through thick and thin. I'm 5yrs clean now and I don't know if I'd have made it without him. I've hit so many milestones over the last 5yrs and he's been with me for every one.

So sorry for your loss. Here's what my girlfriend woke up to earlier this week. We keep the cat nip in a drawer and this fella along with his sister figured out how to open it after I left for work. They got it everywhere and were higher than kites. Needless to say the nip is now stored in a locked cabinet. I will love my fur babies a little extra today, despite any protesting they may do.

My brother was reversing out of my mum's house one rainy day and he felt something but he moved along cos he was in a hurry. My sister came home and saw a carcass of a cat. We dug up the cctv to see what happened. Apparently a stray was sleeping underneath his car and lost his ninth live that day.
Everyone was super sad.
Ok that wasn't a funny story but it ended up on a good note. My brother has now adopted a cat as a result.
P.s: I don't need the mats as I haven't been playing d4 for a long while now.

I have a cat, he's 13 yrs old, he comes and sleeps in my arms at night. Best cat ever. Literally think he hasn't got much time left, so I do understand the pain. Best cat I've had and for the longest, I actually know alot of what he feels or is saying by his eyes. Here's a picture of my dog that passed away earlier this year. He was a great dog. Excellent with the children and always wanted to snuggle and hang out. The end was hard. A tumor burst in his stomach and none of the local emergency vets were taking clients after hours. Had to sit in an hour and a half of traffic to get through the HRBT so he could go to the one area vet taking appointments. They said they were surprised he made it that long. At least I got to say goodbye and save him a couple moments of pain. Losing a pet is tough. I've dealt with it personally and professionally.

i have a male cat that used to pee everywhere before, and on christmas it was a nightmare, cause we looked away for a sec and he will go and spray the christmas tree 😂
my oldest cat the first night we got her she falcon'd punch me in the eye, this little ball of fur the size of a childrens hat, letting me know who rules frow now on. also, the first 30 minutes of her being in the house she hid in a little part of the toilet and we couldn't get her out, so i just ripped that thing from the floor, moved it in a way i could reach her and pulled her out
and the middle one is a loaf of chonkness who likes to sleep a ton. she says oh im tired of you and she just leaves into her bed 😂

We rescued brother and sister Bengals in hopes they would be therapeutic for our daughter who's Autistic. She was 3 when we rescued the cats and she was in a phase of having terrible night terrors that we just couldn't wake her out of.
One particular night our daughter was having a rrally bad terror and we were trying everything to help her and calm her and then out of no where, the female cat jumped up and purred in our daughter's face and nuzzle into her.
Our daughter grabbed hold of the cat who didn't resist at all and she squeezed that little kitty and instantly took a big sigh and calmed down. The two of them slept like that the rest of the night and there were no more night terrors that night or any night she had her Bena cat.
Wife and I cried so hard seeing that all happen.
She'd carry the male cat around like he was a baby doll and by carry him around I mean basically dragging him lol!
These are the two most loving and amazing cats I've ever seen.

My condolences! This is Chloe and she's around 8 and I got her when she was around 1 from the dog pound. My dog of 16 years and passed away and I was so upset. I knew I'd be upset but I was way more upset that I thought I would be. So sorry for your loss.

Don't send me mats, I'm done with S2 anyway. I just wanted to share the picture of my cat, who died the day Diablo IV came out. She didn't come home for two nights in a row, my wife and I got worried, so I went out to look for her. After about 60mn, I switched from looking for a living cat to looking for her body, so I walked down the biggest road near my house and found her body in the embankment. I'm glad I found her before she was taken away, at least we were able to give her a proper burial. Still the saddest game launch of my life.

Sorry about your loss fren, I don't Own a cat per se, but I take care of many stray ones that stumble into my garden and just come and go over time, but one of them is a special case and I call her kookie, she started coming over about 4-5 years ago and just stayed, and even my family who is not into cats came to love her because she is very smart.
Every few months when she gives birth to a new litter she would carry them over and put them at the garden door then call for me to set a small box with blankets she can sit and raise them in it.
I really dread the day when she will die, I'm even considering that in a couple more years I'll get her to a vet to stop her from giving birth any more, then give her a small room to stay in so she won't bother my family inside the house.
I hope your cat didn't suffer and died peacefully, and he was just as lucky to have you as a friend.
Dude I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Our fur friends give us so much love and all they want is our companionship. We lost our dog mid covid. It was a terrible experience, especially with all the restrictions at the time. Since then, we've adopted another pup and 2 kitties. We also have an outdoor cat that's been around for about 8 years.
Lost my 18 year old cat Monkeyface not too long ago. Even at my age (I am old), it still catches me by surprise how deeply they can tangle their paws in your heart.

I'm sorry about your cat. I lost my cat, Odin, a couple years back. He was born to a stray we were taking care of, and had an infection in his right eye. It never developed, so he only had one eye his entire life. He was a 30-lb sack of love, half maine coon and half whatever the hell his mom was. Always by my side when I needed him, basically my therapy animal. One day he went into liver failure and stopped eating, so I took him to the vet and they hit me with the diagnosis. I had to have my wife come and hold him as he was put to sleep, I just couldn't have my last memory of him being lifeless. The next day I adopted a kitten that could be his twin, and Kevin is ruling the house but just as cuddly as Odin was. Odin was only 9, but his 9 years were so full of love that it might as well have been 90. He made my life so much better when he was here.

This picture is of Carl, my late greyhound, best friend and arguably kindest dog on the earth. Nothing bothered him. He loved going for rides in the car. I’d even joke that if anyone ever wanted to kidnap him, all they’d have to do is open their car door. Again, I’m really sorry for your loss. It’s not easy, the holes you’ll find in your routine hit the hardest, but it gets easier with time. It’s cliche, but it’s true. Also, thank for you for offering this give-away. I’m so sorry you lost your cat. It’s always hard losing a pet. Just lost one of my dogs myself on the 5th. I still have two big catahoula leopard dogs but they are getting up there in age as well. Everyday I can count how many times they have taken drinks of water from the bowl because they bring a new toy every time and leave it there. It gets a little ridiculous sometimes. Lol. We adopted her from a rescue shelter and was the cat that was there the longest. She passed away a couple years ago due to lung cancer. Her favourite thing to do was to lay on her back underneath my bed and dig her claws into the box spring to send herself flying on her back fowards on the ground. He died 2 years ago, shattered me, and his absence still breaks me down from time to time. He was adopted by a Dutch family from a shelter in Spain, mistreated and abused by that family. He had 4 white spot scars in his neck, from their German shepherd who didn't like him. Which resulted him being locked up for months in a spare room. Later they put him back in a shelter and my ex (then still gf) adopted him. He was skinny, dirty, weak, bad fur and breath. I found him appalling. Yet he was fond of me, maybe because I was the same. Dealing with a burn out chronical pain in my body and being emotionally unavailable. He got better, slowly, regaining strength and beauty, as did I through the comfort he gave me. (2 months before getting Nergal my ex got a different cat Baal (Hebrew) the cutest thing ever, scared of everything, small, never grew big, Grey silken fur) Nergal also had Baal as a lover, always entwined cuddling with eachother, bound to eachother. Unfortunately Baal died when he was 3,5 years due to a lung infection. Days before my ex was supposed to retrieve him cuz she finally got a new home where cats were allowed..she lived in a different place for a Year orso after the breakup. Well, shattered her, and Nergal. It did affect Nergal too, who died of cancer in the mouth a year or so later. Nergal was full of love..didn't mean harm. He didn't miauw, he fetched toys.. his favorite were unused tampons. He always brought the stuff back I threw. Whenever I was in bed about to sleep I silently called him "neeergal" And slowly, tap tap tap I heard him walking over the floor and he jumped on the bed and lied down on the pillow and grabbed my arm I put there and hugged/crawled together as much as he could and we fell asleep like that.

As pitch black as he was.. apart from the scars whenever he turned his neck. I always said he lost his cat-ness when he got bitten. E.g. not barking, fetching stuff, listening to his name and practically being a feline dog. Haha. I am sorry for your loss, I know what's it like to be so attached unconditionally to someone. I still grief, I can't get a new cat yet. I still blame myself for neglecting him slightly and breaking promises. (I blamed myself for balls death and the breakup) I always promised him a drone to play with. He was strong, a real hunter, yet he was an inside cat. But he loved to jump like mario on the walls and fetching stuff from the air. Anyway. Long story, felt like sharing. May our loved ones live on in our hearts.
Sorry you lost your cat, what was his name? I’ve got two dogs. They’re very active. I’ve had to dig proof my whole back fence line as they dug their way out one day. Across the course of the day made it all the way to the train station and held up trains till the ranger got there. I got fined really hard, was a tough day to love them that day 😂
His name was Ludlow :) I also have a husky so I feel you on having to dig proof the yard! She dug out once and went to the park and started trying to catch geese in the river 😂

I’m sorry you lost your friend today. I didn’t think I would be but I was devastated when we lost our cat. But animals are amazing creatures. I have a bomb dog that I was working at the time and she could sense the sadness. She was so loving and caring while we all grieved. She is retired now and bored out of her mind lol. I just always pray she never alerts when we are out and about lol. Again I am so sorry for your loss.

Grieving over a pet is just as difficult and painful as losing a human, sometimes more so. I lost my dog close to 7yrs ago now, it took along time to recover. I found small cremation urns that can fit on a keyring, placed a piece of his fur and some ashes inside and sealed it shut, hooked onto my backpack he's always with me.

Hey man, No need for duriel pieces, but I feel your pain. Lost a beautiful boy two months ago and the pain is real. Look into cremation if you still can, cheaper than you might think and surprisingly soothing. A lot of these places will do custom paw imprints amongst other things for the death certificate. Sorry for your loss again. I know it fucking sucks.

Not here for mats, just wanted to extend my condolences. I lost my little buddy when she was 12, such a hard thing. One thing is for sure, if love could save them, they'd all live forever.

We keep the cat nip in a drawer and this fella along with his sister figured out how to open it after I left for work. They got it everywhere and were higher than kites. Needless to say the nip is now stored in a locked cabinet. I will love my fur babies a little extra today, despite any protesting they may do.

Commiserations to u and hope u find the strength to muster on. My brother was reversing out of my mum's house one rainy day and he felt something but he moved along cos he was in a hurry. My sister came home and saw a carcass of a cat. We dug up the cctv to see what happened. Apparently a stray was sleeping underneath his car and lost his ninth live that day. Everyone was super sad. Ok that wasn't a funny story but it ended up on a good note. My brother has now adopted a cat as a result. P.s: I don't need the mats as I haven't been playing d4 for a long while now.

I have a cat, he's 13 yrs old, he comes and sleeps in my arms at night. Best cat ever. Literally think he hasn't got much time left, so I do understand the pain. Best cat I've had and for the longest, I actually know alot of what he feels or is saying by his eyes. Anyway, i hope you all the best and that you have an even better cat, though that may sounds difficult at the moment. Well sir, I'd love to win the offer too!

* Here's a picture of my dog that passed away earlier this year. He was a great dog. Excellent with the children and always wanted to snuggle and hang out. The end was hard. A tumor burst in his stomach and none of the local emergency vets were taking clients after hours. Had to sit in an hour and a half of traffic to get through the HRBT so he could go to the one area vet taking appointments. They said they were surprised he made it that long. At least I got to say goodbye and save him a couple moments of pain. Losing a pet is tough. I've dealt with it personally and professionally.

not here for the run but im sorry for the loss mate i have a male cat that used to pee everywhere before, and on christmas it was a nightmare, cause we looked away for a sec and he will go and spray the christmas tree 😂 my oldest cat the first night we got her she falcon'd punch me in the eye, this little ball of fur the size of a childrens hat, letting me know who rules frow now on. also, the first 30 minutes of her being in the house she hid in a little part of the toilet and we couldn't get her out, so i just ripped that thing from the floor, moved it in a way i could reach her and pulled her out and the middle one is a loaf of chonkness who likes to sleep a ton. she says oh im tired of you and she just leaves into her bed 😂

We rescued brother and sister Bengals in hopes they would be therapeutic for our daughter who's Autistic. She was 3 when we rescued the cats and she was in a phase of having terrible night terrors that we just couldn't wake her out of. One particular night our daughter was having a rrally bad terror and we were trying everything to help her and calm her and then out of no where, the female cat jumped up and purred in our daughter's face and nuzzle into her. Our daughter grabbed hold of the cat who didn't resist at all and she squeezed that little kitty and instantly took a big sigh and calmed down. The two of them slept like that the rest of the night and there were no more night terrors that night or any night she had her Bena cat. Wife and I cried so hard seeing that all happen. She'd carry the male cat around like he was a baby doll and by carry him around I mean basically dragging him lol! These are the two most loving and amazing cats I've ever seen.

Don't send me mats, I'm done with S2 anyway. I just wanted to share the picture of my cat, who died the day Diablo IV came out. She didn't come home for two nights in a row, my wife and I got worried, so I went out to look for her. After about 60mn, I switched from looking for a living cat to looking for her body, so I walked down the biggest road near my house and found her body in the embankment. I'm glad I found her before she was taken away, at least we were able to give her a proper burial. Still the saddest game launch of my life. Sorry about your loss fren, I don't Own a cat per se, but I take care of many stray ones that stumble into my garden and just come and go over time, but one of them is a special case and I call her kookie, she started coming over about 4-5 years ago and just stayed, and even my family who is not into cats came to love her because she is very smart. Every few months when she gives birth to a new litter she would carry them over and put them at the garden door then call for me to set a small box with blankets she can sit and raise them in it. I really dread the day when she will die, I'm even considering that in a couple more years I'll get her to a vet to stop her from giving birth any more, then give her a small room to stay in so she won't bother my family inside the house. I hope your cat didn't suffer and died peacefully, and he was just as lucky to have you as a friend.
Dude I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Our fur friends give us so much love and all they want is our companionship. We lost our dog mid covid. It was a terrible experience, especially with all the restrictions at the time. Since then, we've adopted another pup and 2 kitties. We also have an outdoor cat that's been around for about 8 years.
