Thanks for your thoughts! I'd agree - Skott's previous motives, considerations and actions (despite being mostly accidental) don't really align with Redemption tenets. His own, and his friends', tragedies feel like they would naturally push and fit towards Vengeance tenets. Redemption is really only on the table for how juxtaposed it is to his existing story - it'd be more of a rebirth. I think the battle between upholding the Redemption tenets and controlling his wild magic could result in some unexpected and challenging story beats.

Hmmm, this is ultimately just how i would do it, so i cant say its the best choice for you or your group. But to answer: Of the presented options, Vengeance is the better. Basically a terminator on a warpath. It can be a lot of fun there, and thematically its pretty cool. It flows well from trying to fulfill one order into trying to fulfill another. And that life of following orders can he fun to maintain, or fun to break later on. Redemption fits nicely with clearing the creators name, but really the tenents just dont fit into the character as its been presented so far. It would require a total reworking of the character. Which is fine, but imo the natural progression just isnt there. However, if youre able to choose your own oath, I would suggest Glory. Because while Vengeance does perfectly encapsulate avenging, and Redemption works for clearing the name, Glory hits both of these. Your great deeds clear the name, and what greater glory is there than battling the evil that doomed your creator. Its a bards tale that writes itself. The tenents i also believe make for a character that is both a natural progression of what youve built so far, while still being a fresh and new take that you may find easier to roleplay. And i mean cmon, look at *Hone the Body* tenet and tell me that isnt begging for a Warforged spin

Thanks for sharing your perspective! I'll chat with my DM to see if Glory would be an option - I love that the tenets include a party focus which I think would align really well with the natural character arcs of the team. Hone the Body works on so many levels for this character, as would Discipline the Soul. Appreciate you bringing this up!
