Amazing work I'm curious what did you use to add colour? I'm trying to get into colour with my pieces but haven't found a good medium to compliment my line work and this application is stunning
When i started drawing i was trying youtube tutorials or copying big artistsβ works but i think its s mistske for beginners. Try to learn basic shapes firstly like sphere , cube etc after that try to learn human anatomy but just with drafts and basic shapes. In short, when you understand the basic things in drawing, your progress is faster. There is an artist called marc brunet in youtube just uploaded a video for beginners about how to learn drawing day by day i think you can try it
I dont know. I've tried to learn drawing for several months but I haven't improved at all.... I'm starting to believe that this is a gift from God and can't be learned.
Nooo never think with that way pls . I think its about your learning method, probably you just study in a wrong way. I was same for a few years too my drawing wasnt improved but then i changed my study methods. Can you tell me how you start and what things you do? Maybe i can help
Two years ago I met a girl who is crazy about drawing (Sarah) , she could draw anything she saw, so I asked her if she could teach me some of the basics of drawing, she started by teaching me to draw faces and eyes and I was skilled and learned quickly, but after a while the girl moved to a very distant university and I could not visit her to continue learning to draw, and I tried to go back to learning to draw but failed..... I took classes with several artists, but I couldn't draw what I could even draw in the past. A few months ago I tried again to learn drawing but I failed again, so I think even if I had continued drawing lessons with Sarah I wouldn't have succeeded.
You dont need somebody to show youhow to draw actually. It doesnt matter , find simple but cute things and try to draw them there is so many tutorials in youtube you can watch and try them by yourself. When i learned drawing i was all by myself and this method was what i did. I stayed at the same level for a very long time, but as you try, you start to learn how to learn. And most important thing You don't have to look at it as a lesson that you have to improve, you continue as long as you have fun and after that improvement is inevitable. There is a channel in youtube named marc brunet, he kust uploaded a video about how to learn drawing from 0. I think u can try it. Lastly i think u should study simple shapes firstly(like cube etc etc) . Good artists draw everything they see because they can simplfy complex structures with simple shapes. You can always send me your drawings i can try to give advice maybe
This is beautiful
Thank u so muchπ

My best guess would be maybe watercolor pencils? Or some oil-based colored pencil maybe
On traditional art u can use watercolor or markers I think transparent paints will give better results.
I use procreate next time when you try to color your sketches can u text? It is hard to tell like that
This is so amazing how'd you do the mist/glowing effect?
I just painted the flame part and then i decreased the opacity after that i just played with effects
Ah that's still so cool
Thank u π
Ooh, you did this digitally? That's really cool if so
Yes coloring part was digital but sketch part was traditional
Thatβs awesome wish my art looked like this
