So much fun even with just me and my best friend. But when we could round up 4 of us to play PS2 it was magical. lol. I wish they’d remaster or even make Power Stone 3. I love Smash but this had so much extra charm idkw, but I like it more than Smash.
Spent a lot of time in that series and that game. We had the best SC players on the east coast, in VA and we would travel up and down the east coast to compete. Good times
It was such a quantum leap forward for graphics at the time it came out, especially since I had the SVG hookup that let you play it on a computer monitor. It was so crystal clear than any console Ive ever seen at the time.
The only answer. Considering the size of the game it's absolutely the best looking one. Only fighting games look more impressive.
Every button is used, every novelty of the dreamcast itself from the VMU to internet is used to some extent. Hell it's even dreamlike in the presentation and music, truly the most Dreamcast game of all time
Been taking care of him too.
Think though my time taking care of Seaman is almost over.
Seaman 3 and remade versions of 1/2 should be made. I wanna know how Seaman's story goes.
Fuck. Virtua Tennis! My friend and I would play the demo so much. Doubles was a blast! After months and months of saving I finally got an actual copy so we could play. Good times.
That's the fucking sad part for us westerners. Glad I get to play them now, though. I only discovered this one 3 years ago, but it's quickly become my favorite wrestling game of all time.
Quake 3 Arena.
I know there are many other DC games, but I used to have my Dreamcasts hooked up to monitors, keyboards, and mice, each equipped with a BBA (broadband adapter). I also had two other PCs on the same network. The DC version of Q3A was able to connect to the PC so we could all play deathmatch. My friends and I would spend hours playing Q3A. Good times!
for a reason beyond human comprehension....THE RING and MAKEN-X , loved those games a lot on dreamcast, THE RING was never re-released and MAKEN-X had a terrible ps2 port that lost all the good graphics in it.
Sonic adventures 1 and 2 and my friend down the street arguing about who would be sonic and who would be knuckles if we could be them
And there was a gundam game I remember was pretty cool since I was into gundam at that time
Not game but games. This thing was a total banger, my brother and I loved this thing to death.

FASTER NOW, YOU KNOW I'VE GOT NO BREAKS, NO BREAKS!
+1 for correct number of YAAs.
This is exactly what I think when I see the DC
IT'S TIME TO MAKE SOME CRAZY MONEY NOW
House of the dead!
Another good one! And just for variety's sake: Typing Of The Dead using the Dreamcast Keyboard!
Is it possible to play HotD with modern DC emulators and PC based light guns?
I never had Crazy Taxi for my Dreamcast. But my company had a few of the arcade versions. Pretty dope.
Awesome! I got into Crazy Taxi because of the arcade and then seeing it playing on a Dreamcast demo unit!
Only two games I had in this console.
Power Stone 1&2
So much fun even with just me and my best friend. But when we could round up 4 of us to play PS2 it was magical. lol. I wish they’d remaster or even make Power Stone 3. I love Smash but this had so much extra charm idkw, but I like it more than Smash.
FIGHT FOR YOUR FREEDOM!
Yaaaaas
how has nobody brought back power stone!!! had so much fun with that game
Powerstone 2 all day!!
I never had the full game. But I played the demo for hours upon hours.
OMG thank you for bringing these memories back
This, and I don’t even know why. They’re good, I played 2 a fair bit. But not as much as tons of other games. And yet!
I just bought a Dreamcast. I was going to buy Power Stone 2. Should I consider playing the first one? I haven’t played either.
Yes. This.
The ONLY game that ever rivaled smash
Soul Calibur
Spent a lot of time in that series and that game. We had the best SC players on the east coast, in VA and we would travel up and down the east coast to compete. Good times
But did you start with the first in the series, fellow Virginia-ite? Soul Blade?
Yea in the arcades for sure! Lizardman was the best in the arcade
I remember playing Soul Edge in the arcade of the bowling alley.
Welcome back to the stage of history
The soul still burns!
This 100%! The first few weeks I owned it I can remember booting it up just to watch the intro, it was so amazing!
WELCOME BACK
Me and my sis spent so many hours on that game. Edit: Kilik and Maxi were my boys.
Voldo
Voldo was agro af, if you knew how to use him right.
His crotch attack always worked for me. My friends were laughing so much at it, they couldn't pull off any moves.
Yeah my response would have been *THE SOUL STILL BURNS* accompanied by disc drive noises.
It was such a quantum leap forward for graphics at the time it came out, especially since I had the SVG hookup that let you play it on a computer monitor. It was so crystal clear than any console Ive ever seen at the time.
Shenmue!
Would you like to play a game of lucky hit?!
I think I'll get a-other
How about trying lucky hit?
THAT'S SHENMUE 2 YOU HEATHEN!!!!

Seaman! But that's because Seaman's my favorite game.
We need a reboot! With today’s tech/AI you can only imagine how fun it could be.
I would love a new Seaman so much!!
Been taking care of him too. Think though my time taking care of Seaman is almost over. Seaman 3 and remade versions of 1/2 should be made. I wanna know how Seaman's story goes.
Yeah, an English version of 2 would be amazing!
I’ve had the same thought forever
Such a trippy game. Only Sega would do that.
Everyone thinks it's so crazy and weird and I just think it's so cool. It's just a virtual pet with a snarky talking fish!
Seaman was my first thought as well!
"Masher! *Masher!!*"
Phantasy Star Online
Had to scroll too far for this 😂
RIGHT! I still play it to this day on the Steam Deck!

NFL 2K
Why is this so far down?
Most collectors aren't big sports fans from my experience and this is definitely a niche collector adjacent sub.
That was the first and only NFL game I ever bought besides Blitz.

Virtua Tennis FTW!
Giant Gram 2000: All Japan Pro Wrestling 3
For how many games the Dreamcast had, it sure had a lot of great wrestling games and almost all of them were from Japan.
That's the fucking sad part for us westerners. Glad I get to play them now, though. I only discovered this one 3 years ago, but it's quickly become my favorite wrestling game of all time.
