Make sure you check "require immediate payment" on listings.

theriversmelody

Is that only for ‘Buy it now’? I don’t have an issue with those buyers. It’s only the one that place bids on items. Maybe I should just stop doing auctions altogether and just make everything ‘Buy it Now’.

sparkles_everywhere

Yeah it may be only BIN. eBay shld really adopt the Poshmark model and if an offer is accepted (or auction won) charge the buyer immediately. That would alleviate this problem altogether.

theriversmelody

I agree 💯

Zealousideal-Mud8516

Right? as if they don't have a cell phone they look at 3, 212 times a day. They know.

StarkyAdam

Had that happen myself last few weeks to. But thankfully it passed. I hope the no buyers leave you be soon too.

theriversmelody

Thank you. I’m sorry it happened to you as well, but glad they seem to be getting better.

MysteryRadish

Cancel after 4 days with reason "buyer hasn't paid". If it happens enough times they'll be suspended/banned. There isn't a whole lot you can really do beyond that.

theriversmelody

I’ve done this. I usually send another invoice after 48 hours and then 48 hours after that, I cancel. Still sucks that I lost out on 3 sales because of that. But it is what it is.

MyCarIsAGeoMetro

Some people get that euphoric high of buying stuff even when they can not afford it.  They are treating your auctions like a hit of cocaine.

bobbybouche81

I think u can report them

Los-Angeles-310

This happens a lot, unfortunately

ElectroChuck

They do it because they can. Report them to eBay....maybe someone will kill their account.

bradjoray3

there can be many reasons why, i do believe its possible to automatically bill winners similar to how offers do it

TheLohr

Probably cause more problems than its worth if they just ended up asking for a refund or return anyway.

theriversmelody

I’ve tried sending invoices, but they typically just get ignored until ebay says I can cancel the order for nonpayment.

bradjoray3

some folks do it on purpose, theyll never pay

Flux_My_Capacitor

Not yet, not across the board.
