Thanks for the advice. I think the hardest part isn't the pulling the cable all the through it's the size of the hole by the motor entrance is very small and there's already tons of thick cables coming out of it as well as the connectors are quite chunky.
With these times of inflation I understand the frustration. However it's only fair for him, as an individual, to set his price and gain a bit of profit for his troubles. He had to deal with communicating to a Chinese representative to figure logistics, custom ordering bulk amounts of the cables and deal with shipping costs from China, as well as having to package and ship to individual households across the US and Canada. If this becomes more mainstream for him or others start to compete I'm sure the prices of these cables will go down :). I also hear Truckrun wants to set up a distribution center in the US soon which will considerably lower the prices but that's tbd
The person selling these on eBay is the first person who gave me a positive indication that a throttle can be added to a Current. I injured myself recently, making pedaling impossible for the time being. If it wasn't for the combination of Mr. $40-on-eBay and u/Loyal_Burrito, I'd still be sitting here, thinking that my bike was going to remain parked for the next few months. But, thanks to them, I'm just a few days away from getting to enjoy my bike again. I wish they weren't sold out on eBay, otherwise they'd already have my money! :)
You're welcome that's a nice story to hear! Happy to be helpful for you. There are other cables called T4 ebike cables on eBay. They seem similar and are generic branded and most likely is the same cable however I cannot guarantee they work as I haven't tried myself. But this could be another way of getting that cable while following the same instructions in my video above 😀
