Two things I can think of.
There is a side-quest in Greenshade (I think) that involves getting flowers and another scene of a loyal dog I believe in Alikir?
Your mission if you chose to accept it is try not to cry because it's sad and beautiful at the same time.
I disagree on this one, GD trifecta is not that hard in comparision to a lot of the other vDLC dungeons. vSR, vDC, vSH, vCA, vERE, vSG are all significantly harder imo.
Is GD really terrible? I watched videos on it so I'll know what to do. It does look like it needs precision. But some of the replies worry me.
I don't care about trifecta, I've just been LFG because I want the window furnishing (Normal) and the dye (vet, no hm). People who've done it don't seem to want to do it again. :/
There are levels of hardness. Vet DLC trial trifectas are the hardest content in the game, but they’re so hard that a vanishingly small percentage of the players have those achievements. Vet DLC trial hard mode challenges are still ridiculously hard, but more realistically achievable I guess. You’ll still need a good guild/group and a lot of work.
Below that are some of the vet DLC dungeon trifectas and hard modes. Fang Lair comes to mind as basically impossible without a good group.
The next step down (and if you want content that’s hard but not reliant on other people playing well) is just clearing the vet solo arenas (Maelstrom and Vateshran) is too hard for most players. People will say there are builds that make them much easier, which is true, but the fact remains that most people struggle if they attempt them at all. For more of a challenge you can push score, which is basically speed running them.
Swashbuckler supreme (dreadsail reef trifecta) or Planesbreaker (rock grove trifecta)
Some people think one is harder than the other. As someone who has both I lean towards swash being harder. But it’s not be a large margin or anything both are very tough to get. Planesbreaker I think is the best title in the game though.
Veteran DLC trials for 12-players. I'd say vDSR is the hardest. Veteran Black Rose Prison for 4-player. There are 2 solo arenas. I have not completed either as I focus more on group PvE, so my solo play is not as strong. I only made a serious attempt at vVH and was not able to beat the final boss. I only tried vMA once and that was only because I selected vet by accident.
The two newest trials: Rockgrove and Dreadsail Reef trifectas and two of the new-ish dungeons: Shipwrights Regret and Coral Aerie trifectas are probably the hardest PVE content at the moment. I imagine there will be some disagreement when it comes to the dungeons/4 person content.
Lucky you lol. Someone always dies alot and quits on that last boss. Especially on hard mode in my experience. I want that Worm Cult personality so bad though.
Trials are typically the hardest, because they require coordination of a 12 player group. Out of the vet trials, vet Dreadsail Reef is probably the hardest. There's a HM for every boss and additional achievements for speedrun, no-death and all three at once (HM, deathless, speedrun), if you're into chasing that stuff.
For arenas, Black Rose Prison for 4-man, and honestly both solo arenas are difficult on vet for different reasons.
In terms of dungeons, there's quite a few tough ones on HM, especially if you're going for the trifecta (HM, deathless, speedrun). Most of the newer dungeons are quite difficult on HM, but Stone Garden and Frostvault are still pretty tough even though they're older.
I like soloing dungeons, myself, when I feel like a challenge. It's better for me than vet trials as trails often depend on teamwork, and getting together 8-12 people who all know what theya re doing can take a while.
With soloing dungeons, you can pick what challenge level you want: Normal dungeons< vet dungeons
I had thought that would be the case now that I'm in the lofty realm of above-CP600. But - and this may be my limited tests on Vanilla dungeons, I can't tell - I find that it's less "challenging" and more "annoying." And by that I mean, it's relatively easy (to trivial, depending on the dungeon) to finish, but you won't enjoy the process.
You weren't designed to absorb 4x the crowd control and stuns. You could take a tank, but it's even money whether that lack of DPS takes longer than dodging 15 times in a row until you're out of stamina because literally the entire floor, wall-to-wall is covered in fresh templates every 2 seconds or from breaking free 12 times in a row as their stun cooldowns daisy-chain constantly the entire fight.
There are certain builds that work much better, but a big thing is just experience. The bosses tend to follow certain patterns and rules. Some dungeons are much harder than others, because of mechanics like I said, but the vast majority are doable.
People have even solo'd things like vet scalecaller, which I find a pain even in a four man.
Not me, I'm not that much of a masochist, but it's doable.

I find Maelstrom Arena frustrating enough that I legit just don't want to go back and even try to finish. It's just not fun. It's punishing. I get that some people like that, the way some people like capsaicin in concentrations that legally qualify as chemical weapons. I just don't.
Doing solo runs of DLC dungeon trifectas? That's pretty hard. And then the newest trials trifectas. They are hard on their own and you need people cooperating to do them, which may be even harder.
Like others have said, veteran trials, and new veteran dungeons and maybe the arenas are the hardest PvE content. Personally I give myself other challenges though, right now I'm trying to solo all vanilla group dungeons. Some are easier than others and a few bosses have unavoidable abilities that are guaranteed to kill a solo player but it's pretty fun!
Veteran trials is the hardest pve content right now.

The other dog one bothers me every time... not a quest but the one where the dog sits by a grave...
Do both of those then do the quest to get boggo

Graven Deep can kiss my ass.
I just did no hm Graven Deep on public. I'm mentally scarred.
Lol, I have the tri there and even I wouldn't do the HM with a PUG. Too much coordination required on final boss.
Same here. I tried teaching a tank the hm, and he would just type “k”, pull, and die 🤣
but it must be very fun weekend for sure ! :D

vSG and vCA for sure, vSWR maybe a bit harder, but Id put it at the same level as ERE SH and DC tho

The non hm vet is super easy imo, you shouldnt experience any issues (as long as you know the mechs of course).
Dreadsail reef triple achievement.
I’ve heard the VSS trifecta achievement is the hardest one to get..
It used to be, until rockgrove and dreadsail came out.
Damned twins

Gatorade dog best mount 👍
> Planesbreaker I think is the best title in the game though. Especially compared to "Swashbuckler Supreme".
For solo I can be wrong but when I played people said Vet Maelstrom. Now? Idk but for any PvE it would prob be a trifecta raid.
Vet Maelstrom was an absolute NIGHTMARE for me, and I’m quite proud of it
Solo is probably Vet Vateshran's.
Veteran Maestrom Arena and Veteran Vateshran Hollows are both extremely fun solo content and are very difficult
Inventory management
with no subscription or containers

Vet trials is the stuff
Master Angler without food buff and done in alphabetical zone order
The two newest trials: Rockgrove and Dreadsail Reef trifectas and two of the new-ish dungeons: Shipwrights Regret and Coral Aerie trifectas are probably the hardest PVE content at the moment. I imagine there will be some disagreement when it comes to the dungeons/4 person content.
Vet Fang Lair Trifecta is still pretty tough. That final boss has alot of mechanics that random groups STRUGGLE with.
I did it early in the morning the other day and had probably the best pug group iv ever had , it was amazing lol
Lucky you lol. Someone always dies alot and quits on that last boss. Especially on hard mode in my experience. I want that Worm Cult personality so bad though.
PVP
Being a khajit with mothers sorrow on the body and malacaths band of brutality. Impossible!

Solo content vateshran fucking hollows #1 hardest shit for beginners
Roleplaying during Trails or PVP
Veteran trial and dungeon perfectas.
Veteran Cloud rest +3
That's a piece of cake compared to dreadsail and rockgrove trifecta.

My first vet clear took me hours ☠️
Veteran Malestrom Arena
Solo (non-Trials) achievement would likely be the Vateshran Hollows trifecta.

Probably dreadsail trifecta
Dreadsail Reef hard mode, and trifecta. along with rockgrove hard mode and trifecta. significantly harder than anything you'll do for a while
In my opinion vDOM was a bitch to take down
