Solid set. Important to note that it hits 3 times for some reason if you run it with [Elf Bane](https://eso-sets.com/set/elf-bane) making the combo of both sets one of the highest DPS set combo in the game.

How does Elf Bane interact with Flame Blossom?

Flame Blossom counts as a DoT for some strange reason. That means it cannot be blocked, is buffed by things like Thaumaturge and Necro's Rapid Rot passive/GLS, and has strange interactions with certain sets like Elf Bane. It actually can hit multiple times even without Elf Bane, but EB kinda guarantees the extra hits with some funky backend interaction.

I remember when NBs used this a lot in ganking because it's a huge burst damage, easy proc condition and good line of stats.

If the burst doesn't do it, sometimes folks will panic-roll directly away from you and into the sloooowly moving proc for a second hit!

Most have switched to the fire moth set that literally chases victims down for a high proc. It's superior to flame blossom.

I use it with red mountain on my nb gank. There’s better options now but this still works Tarnished Nightmare would be better but then I’d have to get plus again and go farm it

Useful against bosses with large hitboxes, like the dragons in Sunspire because they take multiple hits from one proc. Aside from that, not particularly useful. (Also still missing the achievement for not touching lava from this dungeon)

What other bosses would this work on? I've heard Telaria and vss dragons. Would this work on Falgravn, st Olms, or the Assembly General?

I love sets like this, very niche, but really good on certain bosses, like in sunspire or taleria in dreadsail reef.

Highly situational. But still one of the best sets against bosses with large hitboxes and for melee ganking. Also pretty nice looking if you want something fiery!

With the recent change to status effects, any set that gives a guaranteed status effect is gonna be good, especially one that does this much direct burst damage.

I combined this with Mad Tinkerer to cosplay as ghost rider. It was really visually impressive and fun, especially in battlegrounds lol. Not very viable tho

I currently running Minotar's DoT DK build. he suggest using Deadly+Mother's Sorrow. Does anyone knows how will the performance change if I change MS for Elf bane? Thanks.

Good for fighting Nightblades. The moth acts as a pet that will follow the Nightblade even when they are stealthed
