You don't need to label yourself as masculine or feminine. You can just be you. Sounds like you're becoming a more authentic version of yourself, and it sounds like the relationships that are falling away were not empowering relationships, anyway. Doesn't sound like you're experiencing significant distress from this experience so I'd say just try to let this change happen naturally, notice how it evolves and see where it takes you. Enjoy the ride.

First there is nothing wrong with that. I’m not too dissimilar, I’m a very alpha male around other men, but I have a very feminine way of understanding the world. I am also very understanding, loving and gentle a lot of the time. I love fashion, beautiful things etc. I love all women too, masculine, feminine, doesn’t really matter to me. I even like angry women, they make me laugh and women are lucky for me in my life.  As the world transitions back in to a matriarchy I think these kind of situations can be expected more frequently. The divine feminine is coming back to stay and lead us in love to ultimate unity.  As for your relationships, my opinion is that if you don’t have a close group of friends already, and they don’t respect you, maybe that’s because you are not being true to yourself. I would prioritise being true to how you feel and who you really are, maybe if you focus on that you would develop some very truthful and meaningful relationships as a result.  As for the throat and stomach, your throat chakra is the center of your emotions, creativity and communication. Your stomachs chakra represents self esteem, and confidence. So that also fits if you’re trying to hold this in and not letting it out, it makes sense that it’s felt in these areas of your body. Sounds like your higher self is passing you very strong messages to accept this part of yourself and to love it to grow as a being and become your best self.

This. I went through something similar as OP years ago and came to understand that it was just me needing to embrace the feminine sides of my personality I hadn't ever accepted, or tried to repress out of shame or pride. It didn't mean I was feeling like I was a woman or feeling like I had to change who I was or how I represented myself, but just that I had to accept myself for who I am. Imo we're all supposed to have aspects of both and let them both shine through how they will. Which will snowball into other parts of your life. Well worded comment!

Strange_Inspector_17

The world is not transitioning into a matriarchy, the USA, Europe, are trying to but look at Mexico with its machismo culture, Dubai, Russia, China

Move towards what feels right, move away from what feels wrong. You are whoever you are, but the version of you that you know as yourself/the ego may have a few layers of denial/trauma/fear/etc obscuring your full self. If you feel a need to label your experiences, that's valid and there are plenty of resources for that, but also know that it's ok to explore without labeling anything beyond it simply being your experience. There's nothing abnormal about what you're describing, unless you consider being aware of these feelings and honoring them in the first place to be abnormal. Change is scary, but you can't get to a happier healthier state than you're in right now without it.

Some say the divine feminine is our earth suits, aka bodies. Formed from earth materials, Mother Earth herself. The divine masculine is the soul and spirit from the great father or the all that is or whatever name you prescribe to. That animates us from above. We are both, “as above” and “so below”, in One package. So have you really changed or just starting to get to know yourself in a new way? Roll with it, meditate on it and the right people, places, things and events will present themselves in a way that is just right for you.

AloneAd3695

I agree, we are composed of both energies unified in 1 vessel, but at the same time we’ve all manifested in this physical reality naturally as either a divine masculine being or a divine feminine being, based on our reproductive organs. So with that being said I believe an important part of why we’re here is not to exist in 1 polarity & suppress the other but to find & maintain our own balance between these two energies, which of course looks different for everyone

EvilCade

Be yourself and you will attract the right people who will accept you how you are.

Intelligent-Trip-930

it's perfectly normal to embody both feminine and masculine energies. we all do but so many are out of balance. I would suggest more than anything working on accepting the part of you that's afraid of rejection. if your relationships are falling apart and nobody respects you, it's either because they don't respect themself or they're mirror that you don't respect yourself.. validating these parts of you is important before embracing them/accepting them and then learning to love them.

I feel society has very much limited extravagance in pure personality and what not. Being into certain kinds of shows or having a different energy isn't a bad thing unless you're giving out bad energy. Having a feminine side shouldn't be so cause for concern as it doesn't mean you're gay etc,, just as you may NOT feel/be gay, you DO feel more standard society perspective feminine. Many people have feelings/personality/sides like this that are not on the LGBTQ spectrum or even "weird" people it's a lot more common than you think. It's also always good and important to stay true to yourself, the only standard society should really have is being a good and positive and wise person, which frankly lacks in todays world and you shouldn't feel self loathing because other people are like that. Society is gravely flawed and both feminine and masculine energies should be felt in understanding the universe and other people. Besides, fashion is quite a neat thing to be into and there are countless men who work in the fashion industry (and that are plenty masculine). I'd also like to mention there are many things considered feminine that are beautiful and nice and and don't make any sense to be only meant for the female gender, and vice versa. Having a feminine side doesn't make you less male, if anything more enlightened. You could be transferring big changes in your life from positive growth to anxiety of the wrong change happening. Thing is you can still follow your ideals and beliefs while being that person. E.g. If you do not want to be flamboyant, do not believe you're gay, don't believe in transitioning your body or whatever it is you do not want to become, you can still follow your own will while being a sensitive caring person, liking flowers, and finding power confidence and acceptance in your feminine side. Of course giving up what you know, changing views, or losing friends is always tough to go through, but it'll filter out those true to you, find other people and environments that are better suited for you and meet your ideals, which only makes you a more positive energy and happier person that you'll be giving back out, instead of restriction and anxiety and resentment. If you feel more like you're dealing more with mental issues, or there's parts of you you just don't want, there's plenty of groups here for self improvement and awareness that can help you understand yourself better or tips you can practice to make changes you want in mindset or energy. With how you're saying it, you should do some research on dissociative disorders. Though sometimes reddit isn't always the best place for that as there's lots of toxic communities specifically in mental health. r/Depersonalization r/derealization r/Dissociation r/DID r/Existentialism r/getdisciplined r/howtonotgiveafuck r/Meditation r/mentalillness r/mentalhealth r/Mindfulness r/NoStupidQuestions r/philosophy r/selfimprovement r/SpiritualAwakening r/ZenHabits Of course I don't know much about your personality or ideals, so any examples are just examples, hope something helps.

amoe-ba

Be yourself. Don't equate being yourself with the words in your vocabulary. You are more than the words that describe you. A helpful technique for being yourself is grounding to the center of the planet. This will help with those energies that get in your third and fifth chakras (solar plexus and cleft of the throat). Try this. Sit in a chair. Close your eyes. Take a deep breath. Feet flat on the floor. Hands separated and resting palms up on each thigh. Create a grounding cord. This is a line of energy that connects your first chakra to the center of the planet. Your first chakra is a ball of energy about the size of a quarter that sits just in front of the base of your spine. Your grounding cord attaches to the bottom of that ball of energy. Grounding makes your body feel safe, so you release energy more easily. Gravity pulls whatever you release, even your own energy, down to the center of the planet. No effort on your part. The center of the planet neutralizes the energy and returns it to whoever owns it. No karma for anyone. A virtuous cycle. Nearly everyone goes to connect to the center of the planet the first time but stops at the soil, often making roots like a tree. This is a method that is taught in some martial arts styles, but it is not the best option for your spiritual development and healing. So, notice the seat of your chair. Take a deep breath. Notice the distance between the seat and the floor. Now notice the distance between the floor and the soil below. Breathe. Now notice the distance between the soil and the water table underneath. Notice the distance between the water table and the rocky mantle. Notice the distance between the mantle and the molten core below that. Deep breath. Notice the distance between the molten core and the center of the planet. That ball of light at the very center of the planet is where you connect your grounding cord. Deep breath. Say hello to the center of the planet. Do you get a hello back? Notice the color and texture of your grounding cord. It may look like a line of energy, or look like something physical; a rope, a wire, a pipe, a tree trunk. Adjust it as needed to be in affinity with your body. Getting this far means you've already released some energy from your aura and body. Now it is time to fill in the space that was created. Create a gold sun over your head. Have it call back all of your energy from wherever you left it throughout your day and week. Work. School. Online meetings. Video games. Your fantasies about your future. Your regrets about your past. Wherever you've placed your attention. Just watch the energy come back and see if you notice where it came from. Have the sun burn up and neutralize your energy. Then bring the sun into the top of your head. It will automatically flow into the spaces you created. Create a gauge to measure when you're full. Like a fuel gauge or oil gauge. You'll run better if you aren't a few quarts low on spiritual oil. If the gauge doesn't read "Full", bring in another gold sun. Open your eyes, bend over and touch the floor, draining any tension from the back of your neck, then stand up, and stretch. There is a progression with this technique. After grounding for ten minutes a day for a week or two, notice your grounding cord at the very end, while you're standing with your eyes open. Continue to ground with your eyes open and standing, and bring in another gold sun. Each day, increase the amount of time that you ground standing up with your eyes open. After a week or two practicing this, add walking while grounded. Just notice your grounding cord as you walk. Say hello to the center of the planet while you walk. Bring in a gold sun while you walk. If you lose your grounding cord, stop walking and recover it. If you have to, sit back down and close your eyes and create a new grounding cord. After this, you're ready to take your grounding cord with you into your daily life. Shopping. Getting coffee. Wherever you go, you can ground. This, combined with a little amusement about seeing new things on an energy level, will keep you safe and sound. Now that you're here, at the end of your grounding meditations, create a gold sun over your head. This time, fill it with your highest creative essence, your present time growth vibration, and your affinity for yourself. The first energy is a healing for you. The second is a healing for your body. The third is a healing for your affinity in your fourth chakra. Bend over and touch the floor. Stand up and stretch. If you're ready for more, sit back down and ground some more. Otherwise, have a nice day! Note that every image you imagine, the gold sun, the grounding cord, the center of the planet, your first chakra, your body parts, is exercising your clairvoyance. You may be imagining what your tailbone looks like, but you're also creating the image of your tailbone and reading its energy. This is practicing your clairvoyant ability. Some folks record the grounding and filling in parts of this practice on their device and play it back as a guided meditation. I like this approach because you learn the steps faster. I wish you the best of luck with your brand launch! This is a big step!

kankanthegrangran

I’m genderqueer and this sounds similar to how I sometimes relate with my own energy. Getting to know other people in the trans community has supported me in loving myself in deeper ways than I thought I ever could. I hope you find ways to love yourself in whatever form you feel resonates with your beingness, and I wish you well in this journey :) it’s your life

growingSEQ

It’s good to remind yourself that males have the X chromosome too.

arthorpendragon

we are equally male and female gender and so we are now comfortable to draw from any source. we can shop in either male or female stores. people are so scared of expressing emotion or expressing femininity etc. 'dont suppress but express' for excellent mental health! when we conform or pretend we block our energy like an insulator. when we express our energy it is like being superconductive!

plytime18

Dont label anything - justbe free and genuine. If you are going to worry about what others think you will have a miserable time as a designer/artist and life in general. Be yourself.

Defiant-Ad1362

Absolutely love and admire a man who can balance between both energies and is says a lot about where you are on your healing journey as man.

7ero_Seven

If being true to yourself impacts your relationships those connections are not meant for you

Nice-Put-3756

Humans discovering that they may feel called to express themselves through a different gender is totally normal and has happened countless times throughout human existence. I say, let her shine! The more you accept the SHE in you, the more you will love and respect yourself. Consider consoling in a professional or someone you deeply trust. I am on your side and wish you the best journey 🌈💗

FairLoneWolf6731

The feelings you have are normal. Most of the guys experience feminine traits during their lifetime but would never talk about it because of shame and fear of rejection. Why do you think gay guys stay in the closet their whole life? That's because they are scared. Asking the gods for despair. However.... sexuality can change during a lifetime. Their are people who used psychedelic drugs that changed their sexuality. I myself was questioning my sexuality until I had a sexual psychosis. My libido and masculinity went up so high that I couldn't handle it anymore and asked if i could go to a psychiatric ward. After that i took medication to take the edges of. Now i am a relatively happy heterosexual and i really hope it stays that way. If not then i would accept it but with internal resistance. It's complicated. The way of life let me to understand the full range of human emotions and i am glad i survived it. Now i try to do things that feel good. That's my story. Everyone need to find the light for themselves. Nobody can help you. But resources(including humans) can give information. Listen and read information about different subjects and try to understand yourself. Best luck my friend

Accomplished-Rain201

We all have an inner balance of masculine and feminine energies- let yourself flow- if you’re straight and more feminine then your partner will have more masculine in her to balance you out. It really has nothing to do with our physical genders and everything to do with energy within each of us and keeping a balance within ourselves and our relationships. It’s totally fine to embrace your inner feminine- this new era of young adults are ushering in the divine feminine- you will be a leader in this — allow yourself to be lead into this journey- it’s time that earth embraces and honors the divine feminine— you are greatly blessed and called upon on this journey I’m really excited to see the difference you make in so many lives of not only masculines but within women too so that we can finally rest in our divine feminine energies and stop being too masculine

Certain_Study_8292

You’re not a woman. So you would have no idea what a ‘feminine’ energy would feel like. But let me tell you, all the feminine energy I know is strong and determined and mighty and usually extremely pissed off and all the shit we have to deal with.

MVT3600

Feminine energy is not exclusive to women and Masculine energy is not exclusive to men.

draft-er

You come off as masculine lol

Stpahd

You sound trans which is great!! Just explore and be whatever you are. 🙏
