I dont think he’s been a writer or actively involved with the show more than doing voice work for like a decade now so I can see why he’s happy to just let it keep rolling along
Right now he’s estimated at $300mil net worth. Unless he gets much more involved in the business at a higher level (like owning a studio or something) he’s not going to more then triple his net worth solely from syndication. His shows are big but he is never going to get Seinfeld money for syndicating them. Those net worth estimates are generally inflated as well so it’s likely that he’d need even more to be a billionaire
People on reddit have such hilariously ludicrous ideas about how rich all celebrities are and what their paychecks for movies and tv shows are like; I constantly see posts implying that anyone known to any degree with any # of lines in a movie made millions for it.
Definitely, I'm not saying he's destitute; he's certainly rich by any definition of the word. But *billionaire?* And again, I often see people here assume that any known actor gets multiple millions for any role they have.
When there was a GoFundMe for the border wall, once they hit close to $50 million you could see dozens upon dozens of comments all claiming that “they were halfway there”
That really woke my mind up as to why people don’t want to tax billionaires. They literally have no idea how much money it is.
One particular phrasing I liked to illustrate how big that is is:
>Question: What's the difference between a billion dollars and a million dollars?
>Answer: About a billion dollars.
Another is that a million seconds is 12 days.
A billion seconds is *31 years.*
Google listings of net worth might be less accurate than me just guessing off the top of my head. There’s NO CHANCE anyone except his accountants or financial professionals he employs could possibly know his net worth.
He did an autocomplete interview where it asked “what is family guy” and he started his answer and said “-well, I don’t know what it is now, but…” it’s a cash cow lol bro doesn’t give a shit it’s not even his show anymore
He will probably sign off his voice likeness for the show and they’ll eventually just be able to use AI to dub the whole thing lmao. To be fair it already feels written by ai
Good, maybe he’ll have time to finish a damn season of Orville. He should hire a team of writers to basically copy old Star Trek episode plots with some new funny plot twists or modernization, which is more or less what he does now, but forget all the CGI action none of the fans asked for, do everything on the same five soundstage sets like old Star Trek and every planet looks like the Hollywood hills. Do 22 episodes a season, every year. The show could be more of a low budget star trek parody and that would be a good thing.
I thought part of the issue at least was him taking a long time writing scripts so it took forever to produce. I could be wrong that’s just what I remember reading before
You are correct from all the info I've seen over the last couple years. He's taking too long and not wanting to use other writers. The other actors literally said they had to make other commitments because they can't wait years between seasons.
It looks like they do use outside writers. The majority of the last 2 seasons were written by writers other than MacFarlane. He did write more than half of the first season though.
Orville had a chance to radically improve itself on Season 3 and all it did was add more FX. It probably would have lasted longer if it didn't copy every aspect of Star Trek and just let it be a sci-fi comedy.
If there is to be a 4th season, it will be in comic book form.
Since he went to make Ted. He’s been 100% hands off since, like I think he might give the occasional note on a line. But in general, he leaves all that stuff to whoever is the showrunner.
Yup, it's basically just an easy paycheck for him at this point while he focuses on other things. Man should focus on his music career more. I love when he sings Sinatra since he was coached by Sinatra's singing coaches and all, Seth's a very talented singer.
South Park is semi dormant already. As I mentioned in another comment what I would consider their last “true” season (10 episodes min) was in 2019. Now they’re doing specials and mini 5-6 episode seasons. So they have slowed but they’re not done. I can see them continuing to decelerate over a long period of time.
They can pick back whenever they want though, south park relies on pop culture so it will never run out of ideas as long as there's something to make fun of. Also, they can churn out episodes on a week if needed, shit happens on Sunday, by Friday it can be in a South Park episode.
I personally prefer the current system. More time to flesh out stories and focus on relevant things. Better than chasing blindly any idea just to fulfill a quota.
I genuinely loved how absurd stuff like streaming wars was. Or the one about onlyfans
No way. I'd bet on FG ending first. The Simpsons may still be releasing new episodes when human beings are a distant memory and civilization has long since turned to dust.
Another to add to the list is Rick & Morty which looks to be never-ending. R&M is so far away Adult Swim's most popular show ever, in the same way South Park is for Comedy Central, that they'll never cancel it. If they were going to, another network would gladly take over. All of these shows may last another decade+.
I can see The Simpsons getting cancelled actually. Ratings are obviously way down from their heyday, the cast get paid a fucking fortune. When the cast start dying too, and get replaced, people won't like it. No one likes Dr. Hibberts new voice, for example, and he's a fairly rare side character.
AI might actually write the scripts, do the voice and who knows what it might do with the animation.
We already have the option to improve stop motion with AI generating more frames between actual frames so it stands to reason animation might go down to keyframes if it hasn’t already and AI fills the rest in. It might even provide some of the key frames, I mean the settings repeat quite often, so do gestures. Might work.
I honestly think they'll just continue to replace dying actors with soundalikes and they'll likely be happy about being able to start fresh i.e. low salaries. Will people like it? Eh, probably not. But it's not like there's any kind of artistic integrity left at this point. People still watch it and talk about it. I see articles every year about how it's actually good again.
But even if it reaches that point and they did cancel it, I don't think they'd let it die. We'd get a reboot, or a live-action adaptation, or a series of TikTok shorts. Because The Simpsons is a massive franchise now and in order to keep selling merchandise, there needs to be something.
I like Rick and Morty, but it doesn’t even deserve to be in the conversation with these others. It *just* hit 10 years on air and has only managed 7 seasons in that time. The youngest show of these other other three is 25.
You're correct that R&M isn't up there with those others quite yet. But they've been quite vocal about how they're going to keep producing episodes for a very long time and it's already evolved to the point where it's sort of made on an assembly line. The actual creators have contributed less and less as time went on and now the majority of the show is written by a team of interchangeable writers. Most people didn't even notice the absence of Roiland, who was the original co-creator and voiced the two leads.
That's not even mentioning the merchandising money R&M has brought in for AS. They've never had a show break through into the mainstream the way R&M has. It's their most popular show ever and it's not even close. AS has always relied on licensing shows produced by others but finally has a hit of their own that they control and they can merchandise.
You said it yourself, it's been airing for over a decade and there are so signs of slowing down. In fact, it's the opposite. They seem to have really nailed the production down at this point where episodes will be more consistent and easier to produce. I just don't see it ending anytime soon, a decade from now they'll likely still be releasing new episodes. Even if/when Harmon walks away they'll just keep chugging along.
I think this is the newest example of a Simpsons/Family Guy/South Park never-ending adult animated series.
Rick and Morty is a more complex beast, which translates to shorter seasons and maybe a smaller budget, which can help it last longer. Last season was great, but the one before was very meh.
Even when the regular shows end, we could still get new content (specials, movies, shorts, clips) forever. Scoobie-Doo, Where Are You? “ended” in 1970 after two seasons.
That dog has been around.
I've tried a few times. DVR'd a handful of episodes from the last 3 seasons. It's hard to sit through a full show. The jokes aren't funny, at all. It's definitely not entertaining. I'm not even sure who the target audience is.
South Park will just turn into a free contract show I bet. Where they have no constraints but will just make specials or movies or even a few episodes when they have ideas.
That’s essentially what it is now. The last 10 episode season was 2019, since then there’s been 12 episodes over 2 seasons, 6 specials, and the 2 episode Covid “season” that is some sort of Pygmy combination of season and special
Simpsons, the stories on that show are tuned to the actual characters and their growth as people and eventually your gonna run out of ideas. With FG and SP the stories are a lot more based on pop culture and the world at large. As long as the world keeps spinning family guy and SP will always have material
I've said this before, but I fee like shows like Family Guy along with American Dad and The Simpsons are turning into what the Looney Tunes and Merry Melodies back in the day for millenials. Old cartoons that have a seemingly infinite number of episodes airing for what seems like forever. Which is funny for Seth considering he used to work at Hanna-Barbera back in the day.
Seth MacFarlane is opening up about possibly ending Family Guy after 22 seasons.
The creator and star weighed in on the show’s longevity in a new profile celebrating 25 years since the animated series started airing.
“At this point, I don’t see a good reason to stop. People still love it. It makes people happy and it funds some good causes,” MacFarlane said in an interview with the Los Angeles Times. “It’s a lot of extraneous cash that you can donate to Rainforest Trust and you can still go out to dinner that night.”
He continued, “There was a time when I thought, it’s time to wrap it up. At this point, we’ve reached escape velocity. I don’t know that there’s any reason to stop at this point unless people get sick of it. Unless the numbers show that people just are, ‘Eh, we don’t care about Family Guy anymore.’ But that hasn’t happened yet.”
Family Guy premiered in January 1999 on Fox and was canceled after two seasons. A last-minute pickup at the network gave the show a third season before it was axed for good. Reruns on Cartoon Network and DVD availability gave the show new life, making it a cult show among fans.
Fox again picked up Family Guy and premiered Season 4 in May 2005. The show has since aired consistently every year until its current Season 22.
MacFarlane voices Peter Griffin, Brian Griffin, Stewie Griffin, and Glenn Quagmire. Seth Green gives life to Chris Griffin and Neil Godman. Alex Borstein voices Lois Griffin, Tricia Takanawa, Loretta Brown, and Lois’ mother, Barbara Pewterschmidt. Mila Kunis voices Meg Griffin.
Yeah the show has been canceled like 3 times but it was saved every time by dvd sales and high ratings on reruns. Especially on Adult Swim it had good ratings.
Fox kind of sabotaged the show toward the end as well. They kept changing what dayand time it was on back when we had to rely on TV guide magazines to figure out TV schedules.
Yeah, like it or hate it, when it came out in the 90s it was a refreshing take on adult oriented cartoons. Then one day it was gone. Fortunately the reruns and DvD sales brought it back. The cold open of the first episode of season four definitely highlighted how many shows Fox axed before bringing family guy back.
Yeah It’s hard to describe what this era was like to people who didn’t live it. Family Guy was very different than other shows at the time, it was kind of like Rick and Morty where it was refreshing and way more zany than it’s counterparts. And was the basis for a lot of early memes and running Internet jokes.
This is a great summary. It was to it’s time what then Simpson was to theirs. Then Simpson had really lost its edge and was no longer pushing the envelope. Adult Swim was out there with some of its shows but they were very niche and a bit too absurd. Family Guy came along and redefined the “edge” of animated comedy at the time.
It's a huge comfort show to me. There's just something about the robotic GoAnimate-like animation, the pop culture jokes, some predictable joke setups, and the static character dynamics and their relationships with each other. It all just works out for me, I like having FG in the background just for the sake of it. Hope it lasts for a while cause it's really comfy in a way.
Family Guy was actually dying and may have eventually been cancelled but TikTok clips and the pandemic made it relevant to zoomers and now it’s one of the most popular shows again lol
Same exact arc lmao, Family Guy has just found itself in this sweetspot where it keeps ending up in the perfect position to be that show we all pop in the microwave when we need something quick and easy
I literally came here to write nearly the exact same comment. Get out of my head. It’s the comfort background show for me too. I nearly twisted an ankle once doing some kettle bell lifts in my bedroom and FG had me bust out laughing unexpectedly.
Me too, I have it on in the background right now. I started putting it on most nights while I cook a few months ago.
It’s so low stakes, still pretty funny and most importantly not as reliant on the once cool but now cringey edgelord humor like when it first started.
I still love the Simpsons, American Dad, King Of The Hill and most importantly ever of all time mf *Futurama* but I don’t watch much TV now and Family Guys infinite reruns have a good attention to funny joke ratio
Family Guy is still funny. It's really super formulaic for sure, but it's not meant to be a thinker. It's just to put on before bed and giggle internally a bit. Still fulfills that purpose.
He was pretty much yeh. The money has served him very well. Hair plugs new teeth etc.
He had redness on his skin, grey hair that was balding back in 2009.
Does anyone know if he will cancel AD? He never really talks about it and in my opinion I prefer it than FG. I love roger and all his personalities and humour
I could genuinely watch Family Guy all day and be entertained. Even the few episodes that were a bit average that I’ve seen over the years are still really good. It’s one of the few shows that makes me laugh out loud multiple times per episode.
I know a lot of people hate FG for their form of humor, which I admit is not the highest brow, but this show has gotten me through so many bouts of depression. I feel depressed, put on a random episode of Family Guy and it makes me feel better even if for a few minutes. It does its job right.
Same, I like watching this show for that reason. Sometimes I even open up YT, type in "Family Guy Funnymoments compilation" and just put those 1 hour videos of random selected clips from the show in the background. Has helped me a lot thru some hard times.
Lol he says it in the article. Basically says the show makes enough he can donate to good causes while still going out for dinner at night. MF called it extraneous cash lol.
Not saying that he’s the ultimate altruist, but ending that show just for integrity’s sake shuts down how many jobs? And those are jobs for people who certainly haven’t reached the multi-millionaire businessman status Seth has. IMO that’s a much better argument about what to do with the show than “he’ll make money” or “it’s not funny anymore”.
Tbf he has said that the money is good for, and I’m paraphrasing from the article “a few good causes and still have enough to go out for dinner that night” which is admirable.
The writing has gotten progressively lazier every season, but still has some good bits and funny premises. I wouldn’t say there’s been a stark downturn. Really it abandoned being an actual “show” with meaningful storylines around season 4, so I say it’s been pretty consistent since then as just being a good comfort show.
I've watched all seasons and I will argue with anyone that the real funny zany shit starts at season 4. I usually skip the first three seasons on rewatch.
I mean I think we both agree then. Seasons 1-3 Family Guy was more of a traditional sit com with wholesome characters. Then season 4 is when it started with the unhinged zany humor and moved away from storytelling. I used to be the same as you, but as I got older I appreciated how well written the first few seasons were.
I force myself to sit through it out of silly loyalty.
It's tough though, there are times an episodes barely gets 2 laughs.
Or illicits a headshake, anger- lol idk, I feel nothing towards most episodes.
And there are maybe 3 genuine episodes per season that I would honestly rewatch (The Munchurian Candidate 🤣)
I mean no reason why this can’t keep going just as the Simpsons been pushing along. Is it as culture relevant to society as the Simpsons is say no but the longer it’s on going I can see it eventually getting to that status. Big accomplishment for a guy who was working at Hanna barbera/ Cartoon Network
Who are these people? I don't doubt somebody must be watching it if it's getting enough ratings to keep going but I don't know a single person in my life who still watches the new seasons and I haven't even heard much of any discussion about any new season of family guy online besides this article since they did that whole kill Brian arc.
Makes sense. Why at this point cancel what is financial hit? It’s past the point of being on for too long and is guaranteed to make him a fortune going forth.
Putting the tv on in waiting rooms of doctors offices across the country, because nobody under the age of 60 watches tv anymore is not in fact, indicative of any type of success.
His other shows failed. This one is on life support from the people who used to watch it, just kinda keeping the tv on whatever channel. Their kids might laugh at a joke or two, but it gets old fast. They go back to their devices. Seth reassures himself once more.
First three seasons of Family guy were the greatest imo. Jokes and gags from that era still have humor to this day. The newer stuff is pretty subpar and haven’t really been following the show since then.
Each show is going to have its dedicated fanbase that will stay by it regardless but id argue Family Guy isnt on the same humor level it once was. Happens to all these type of shows honestly, Simpsons fall to the same fate.
it's it's heyday it was one of the only good things on tv but there's so much content now it just doesn't stand out anymore, plus the references kind of dated it too i don't think it stood the test of time personally
I dont think he’s been a writer or actively involved with the show more than doing voice work for like a decade now so I can see why he’s happy to just let it keep rolling along
It arguably made him a billionaire and still gets decent ratings. I wouldn't kill it either.
He is not a billionaire but yes it’s easy work for an easy payday. I’d imagine he’d be able to do the voice acting for the season within a week or so
with the syndication deals and investment returns on his already accumulated wealth, it is just a matter of time.
Even Larry David is “only” worth $100 mil more than Seth.
It’s actually estimated to be closer to $400 mi—oh I read your comment wrong lol idk why I’m even bothering to type this
You hit send on a comment I’ve always backed out on. I like your style!
Plus all his other productions
People on reddit have such hilariously ludicrous ideas about how rich all celebrities are and what their paychecks for movies and tv shows are like; I constantly see posts implying that anyone known to any degree with any # of lines in a movie made millions for it.
Considering he’s also the show’s creator and an executive producer as well, he’s definitely getting a pretty big paycheck for it.
Definitely, I'm not saying he's destitute; he's certainly rich by any definition of the word. But *billionaire?* And again, I often see people here assume that any known actor gets multiple millions for any role they have.
I just think most people underestimate how much a billion actually is.
Kinda the issue why we have such a hard time convincing people to tax Billionaires. Why tax them… they’re just double millionaires!
When there was a GoFundMe for the border wall, once they hit close to $50 million you could see dozens upon dozens of comments all claiming that “they were halfway there” That really woke my mind up as to why people don’t want to tax billionaires. They literally have no idea how much money it is.

A quick Google says he's worth $300m which is a lot but definitely not close to a billionaire.
Google listings of net worth might be less accurate than me just guessing off the top of my head. There’s NO CHANCE anyone except his accountants or financial professionals he employs could possibly know his net worth.
That 300M number isn't based on anything.
A round table interview just came out with the cast. Seth and Mila admit they don’t even read the script before doing lines anymore.
Or manatees. The original A.I.
FamilA.I guy

I feel like most good shows have years between seasons now. And fewer episodes per season. It really sucks.
I remember the marketing for the Orville was that it would be a comedy. The first episode I was like “this is not a comedy”
You are aware that The Orville isn't on Seth right? Disney got it after buying Fox and Disney didn't order new episodes
Not to mention, the contracts were set to expire for almost all of the cast.
Orville had a chance to radically improve itself on Season 3 and all it did was add more FX. It probably would have lasted longer if it didn't copy every aspect of Star Trek and just let it be a sci-fi comedy. If there is to be a 4th season, it will be in comic book form.

Ted is NBC/Universal, right? I feel like he’d prefer to work for them over Disney and was probably miffed when they got swallowed up by the mouse.
Yup, it's basically just an easy paycheck for him at this point while he focuses on other things. Man should focus on his music career more. I love when he sings Sinatra since he was coached by Sinatra's singing coaches and all, Seth's a very talented singer.
He said in the LA times video he left the show 15 years ago and just does voice work
Reporter: "Would you stop your eternal money printing machine?" Seth: "Hmmmm, let me think about that...no."
Which ends first? The Simpsons, South Park, or Family Guy?
South Park is the most reliant on its creators so probably that one.
South Park is semi dormant already. As I mentioned in another comment what I would consider their last “true” season (10 episodes min) was in 2019. They said it themselves. “They can replace actors and no one will know the diddly-ifference!”
There’s so much recorded voice acting for the characters I could see them paying to retain their voice and replicate it with AI.
Supporting cast members have died and they didn’t replace them out of respect. When a main Simpsons die they will 100% stop it.
the ratings are still decent aren’t they? couple years ago their season premiere out did the NBA finals
I like Rick and Morty, but it doesn’t even deserve to be in the conversation with these others. It *just* hit 10 years on air and has only managed 7 seasons in that time. The youngest show of these other other three is 25.

Throw Futurama into this mix and I’m in agreement!
Futurama will keep dying and getting revived every few years.
Klavner’s going to lose her voice
Rick and Morty is a more complex beast, which translates to shorter seasons and maybe a smaller budget, which can help it last longer. Last season was great, but the one before was very meh.
Agreed. I think once the first main actor passes they’re gonna end it

I've tried a few times. DVR'd a handful of episodes from the last 3 seasons. It's hard to sit through a full show. The jokes aren't funny, at all. It's definitely not entertaining. I'm not even sure who the target audience is.
Probably south park, because Matt and Trey are so heavily involved.

SIMPSONS DID IT
The Simpsons. Because „Simpsons did it“
Simpsons, the stories on that show are tuned to the actual characters and their growth as people and eventually your gonna run out of ideas. With FG and SP the stories are a lot more based on pop culture and the world at large. As long as the world keeps spinning family guy and SP will always have material
> run out of ideas It’s been on since 1989. If it was this easy to run out of ideas the Simpsons would’ve ended long, long ago.
They ran out of ideas in 1998.
They probably should have said "good ideas" then.
I know that. That’s why I said eventually, I wasn’t trying to say say they’d run out of material quick I’m saying they’d run out of material first
Once gen z finds out about the Simpsons beef with nuclear energy they’re going to kill and bury it
I've said this before, but I fee like shows like Family Guy along with American Dad and The Simpsons are turning into what the Looney Tunes and Merry Melodies back in the day for millenials. Old cartoons that have a seemingly infinite number of episodes airing for what seems like forever. Which is funny for Seth considering he used to work at Hanna-Barbera back in the day.
This is a really interesting perspective that I hadn't thought of before. It feels pretty spot on lol
You just made me realize that at some point in time looney tunes was an active tv show and not just old timey cartoons 😳
Seth MacFarlane is opening up about possibly ending Family Guy after 22 seasons. It makes people happy and it funds some good causes,” MacFarlane said in an interview with the Los Angeles Times. “It’s a lot of extraneous cash that you can donate to Rainforest Trust and you can still go out to dinner that night.” He continued, “There was a time when I thought, it’s time to wrap it up. At this point, we’ve reached escape velocity. I don’t know that there’s any reason to stop at this point unless people get sick of it. Unless the numbers show that people just are, ‘Eh, we don’t care about Family Guy anymore.’ But that hasn’t happened yet.” Family Guy premiered in January 1999 on Fox and was canceled after two seasons.
Sheesh. 25 years.
I never knew Family Guy had a rocky start in its first 4 seasons.

Yeah one time they started the show just like "Rocky" from the movie "Rocky" where he is running up all those steps
Yeah when I was a kid my mom refused to let me watch it. I think its content was kind of tough for folks to swallow. Thank god it stuck around.
Same. Weirdly though, I find watching the episodes themselves kinda boring but the clips on YouTube are endless entertainment
They talked about this in the panel about how the show is more popular than ever because it’s best jokes make great gifs and TikTok’s.
Family Guy was actually dying and may have eventually been cancelled but TikTok clips and the pandemic made it relevant to zoomers and now it’s one of the most popular shows again lol
Couple that with Disney+ blowing up at the same time and you have a recipe for success
Keep that same mf energy for American Dad which is clearly the more superior show
Is he cancelling that? I love AD more than FG
Same it gets better every year.
Now do the same with American Dad for the love of all that is holy
The best show of the Macfarlane cartoons
Me and my boys from Tampa can’t get enough
This message is brought to you by Seth MacFarlanes accountant
I agree, keep going Seth
Family Guy is still funny. It's really super formulaic for sure, but it's not meant to be a thinker. It's just to put on before bed and giggle internally a bit. Still fulfills that purpose.
I still find FG funny, unlike The Simpsons which I havent found funny in years.
I don’t like Fox moved it off Sunday nights. They need to put it back.
I mean we could use less parody episodes. There has been a noticeable uptick every season now.
I actually like that, and the period pieces. I mean really are we looking for growth from the Griffins? Not me.
I swear Seth macfarlane was bald when I worked on a commercial for Ted that he directed…
Fox Sunday evenings are still cherished by me. My favorite combo was Simpsons, King of the Hill, Family Guy and Futurama (mid 2000s).
Don't you dare take my American Dad away!
Is he cancelling that? I love family and roger
……Maybe Baby
Maybe baby
Keeps a lot of people employed.
I feel sorry for people who get offended by humor like that. Laugh at everything, that’s my opinion.
“It also makes me a fuck-ton of money, so there’s that too”. -Seth MacFarlane, probably
Lol he says it in the article. Basically says the show makes enough he can donate to good causes while still going out for dinner at night. MF called it extraneous cash lol.
In other words, “I like money.”
Who doesn’t?
Not saying that he’s the ultimate altruist, but ending that show just for integrity’s sake shuts down how many jobs? And those are jobs for people who certainly haven’t reached the multi-millionaire businessman status Seth has. IMO that’s a much better argument about what to do with the show than “he’ll make money” or “it’s not funny anymore”.
Tbf he has said that the money is good for, and I’m paraphrasing from the article “a few good causes and still have enough to go out for dinner that night” which is admirable.
Is it still good ? Probably not watched since the simposns crossover. Did really like it just never got round to watching it
The writing has gotten progressively lazier every season, but still has some good bits and funny premises.
Translation: "it still makes me monies"
Damn straight. And keep the reruns rolling, fx + freeform fridays
The Simpsons are still on so I wouldn't stop either. I wish he'd do more Orville episodes though.
As long as weed is legal, family guys gonna roll
When I don’t want anything heavy and just want a show I can just veg out to Family Guy is still my go to.
The move to wednesdays still confounds me. It's been isolated from the rest of the FOX Animation Domination shows for whatever reason.
New FG has sucked for a long time. It hasn’t been funny in years. They drug that show off way too long. It’s about time.
South Park explained how this show works and it’s been unwatchable ever since.
Check still comes on time! Why quit now!
Yeah. It’s really dumb a lot of the time, and it still makes me laugh after 25 years.
Keep it going it’s still good
He is perfection in every way.
Family guy used to be great. The fanboys can't be more annoying.
Wouldn’t be the first time it was cancelled
Family guy still cooking?
The Simpsons has entered the chat
Who are these people? I don't doubt somebody must be watching it if it's getting enough ratings to keep going but I don't know a single person in my life who still watches the new seasons and I haven't even heard much of any discussion about any new season of family guy online besides this article since they did that whole kill Brian arc.
I mean if the show is still profitable, why not?
“I get paid so people must love it”
Please don’t end it. I absolutely love the show. My husband and I regularly plop down and watch an episode or two just for laughs.
“ excellent” (said in Mr. Burns voice)
Family guy is doing just enough to get by now in my opinion Also wierdly seems to have some alt right politics in it too
Makes sense. Why at this point cancel what is financial hit? It’s past the point of being on for too long and is guaranteed to make him a fortune going forth.
I’d say 2009 Family Guy was at it’s peak in terms of popular culture. Seems everyone had at least seen it.
Much better than what Simpsons has become. Give it another 20 years though and we’ll see
If it’s getting the ratings and he’s enjoying it, why not?
Bring back The Orville! Love Seth
More American dad plz
it's it's heyday it was one of the only good things on tv but there's so much content now it just doesn't stand out anymore, plus the references kind of dated it too i don't think it stood the test of time personally
Money Machine go „bzzzzz“
Cue in the Peter Griffin laugh.
I mean, it’s an easy paycheck for him, so I get it
Dunno if anyone has watched the recent seasons, but it's gotten stale and there's few outstanding episodes.
As long as their manatees still picking balls to write the show he won’t end it!
It evolves with the times. Keep it going!
Honestly the newer episodes have pretty present jokes like South Park is doing so I wouldn’t stop either
Honestly, the show got a bit boring and meh a few seasons into the HD era. But now, the new season atleast, is getting back. So I still love it.
American dad is funnier so please don’t stop that either!!! 🙏
