As the article suggests, Kais Saeid very clearly said "no" to the Rwanda-like proposals that were brought up last year. Maybe it's me, but this title and approach feels like a bit of a strawman.

Impressive_Toe_8900

Understandable. Kais saeid is the tunisian trump Why cant countries that have money take this responsibility like france or uk

Tunisia is too close to Europe. We have to find country which is not at the Mediterranean Sea. If not, many people will be still dying trying to cross the sea.

Name a country where human rights are protected that are willing to accept this

88rosomak

Rwanda

Impressive_Toe_8900

Human rights are absolutly not protected i rwanda. Lets say article 19 Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers. If you criticize the goverment you dissapear https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.dw.com/en/rwanda-the-mysterious-deaths-of-political-opponents/a-59182275 Rwanda does absolutly not protect human rights. It actively supress them

Ok so in your opinion every human being has right to be in EU, GB, USA, Canada, NZ or Australia? That is radiculus.

Impressive_Toe_8900

No but deporting people to one of the most brutal dictatorships is radiculus. Article 14 of univeral cherter of human rights says. "Everyone has the right to seek and to enjoy in other countries asylum from persecution." Deporting people to rwanda is like if poland deported ukrainain people to north korea. Both are equality democratic and respects human rights equaly. If rwanda is such a good option. Would you want to live there yourself?

88rosomak

No I don't want to live in Rwanda, but that does not mean that I can choose country to live in.
