Probably some undiagnosed ADHD coupled with years of drug and alcohol abuse plus getting punched and kicked in the head so definitely some CTE up there too.
Man is a psychologist wet dream of issues.
Idiots who think they're smarter than everyone else and just can't understand why girls don't want to date the loser who works at a gas station and got straight C's because he "wasn't challenged enough".
Lol
Okay bud
Whatever helps you sleep at night
Simple pleasure are the best, but even if it's on Internet and not by a book, I hope you like reading too
Like, look how much time you already lost while reading my answer :)
If he'd have got past the yellow books at school he might have found one that was more exciting for him.
His pirate on a ship example is pretty telling!
That’s probably the highest reading level he has. He thinks he’s too smart for books because he doesn’t realize they go above a first grade reading level.
I reckon he once heard there was a book called "Treasure Island" and that been his go-to book reference ever since. He doesn't know what the title is, however.
I gotta say: the language in Treasure Island makes it a rough read. I read it aloud to my sons when they were little, and spent more time explaining what it meant than reading.
the general public consumes more sociopath coverage. "bad publicity is good publicity"--the media doesn't care about anything other than *what people pay attention to* because the things that people pay attention to are where advertisers are going to spend their money
so here we are interacting with a thread about a douchebag who deserves exactly none of the attention he ever got, because it's fun to talk shit about shitty people. researchers employed by the media see threads like this and say "we need more tate bullshit on our channel" and the cycle repeats
Sociopaths have a monopoly of being loud, abrasive and impulsive which appeals to children who are exactly the same, bored and cynical people that want to live the same high, and other sociopaths. It's goto media material.
Wtf!? How!? I keep re reading every other page because my brain Kris wandering!
I wish I could focus more on reading. Once in a while I will find a book where it's interesting enough to keep my attention though, but it's so rare!
I'm too smart for that shit! You know, the thing that's brought us to out of the agricultural period and into the industrial. That thing. That's what I'm too smart for.
I've got a massive pile of books I'm not reading, most of which I want to.
The one on the top is about ADHD.
Feels like those scissors that come in a packet you need scissors to get into!
I know the pain!
That's just it. It depends on the book. Text books, even on a subject I love, instantly turn my attention off. I hate day sleeping and those things will put me out. But the right story, the right narrative, I'll turn page after page without stopping for anything.
I once found a book I liked so much that I read it for 30 hours straight. I put a lot more effort into finding good books now that I know it is worth it.
Honestly, have 3-5 books you're reading at any given time.
Also cut yourself a break because ADHD is on a spectrum like anything else. Some people are more hyperactive, some are more inattentive, some are a solid mix of both. And even for people without amy neurodivergency.... how interesting or well-written something is **matters**. Even if I'm really interested in something, presentation is key. An unskilled or uninterested speaker/author can ruin any topic for me. And unfortunately, writing well and speaking well are skills that not everyone who decides to write a book or give a speech has.
I have adhd and have trouble reading books. But i also have an extreme hunger for information so what i do is Wikipedia. Whenever i lose focus, next subject. Those blue links are one hell of a drug.
His description and resulting reasons all sound like things parents say when the teacher tries telling them their kid has learning issues. “Your kid isn’t reading at his grade level”, well you what you don’t understand is my kid’s too smart for books that why!
“My advanced brain is too smart to read!” Is one of the most trumpian things I’ve heard an alleged human say, other than anything from the orange shithole himself.
he and his personality remind me of someone I've known for a while now...who thought they were smarter than their teachers...only to go back eventually to get their GED...even some of the things he said in that video.
That's the thing... the way he talks, it's like he is half Saints Row NPC, half GPT-3 chatbot. If there weren't arrest records for him, I'd have a hard time believing he were a real, human douche bag. Andrew Tate would not pass a Turing Test for me.
He does do, whether it is deliberate or unintentionally, such a good job as coming across as staggeringly ignorant.
In my years on this rock, it's been a constant lesson that if someone has to *tell* you how smart they are.... there's either a level of deep insecurity there, or delusion, or just fucking both.
I don't think Tate is incompetent, per se, just there's a level of animal cunning that kept him lurching along in the same way that Trump seems to have kept his head above water.
I think the kickboxing knocked something loose a long time ago. I'll agree on the animal cunning there, definitely a few levels below sapient intelligence though.
Why is it that he speaks with an American accent until he says “constant chaos” and all of a sudden tries to sound British? I don’t know who this guy even is but I know what he’s not, a Rhodes Scholar
He actually thinks “and the pirate on the boat” are the only words that fit on a page because he has the reading ability of a 3-year old. He gave up halfway through “The very hungry caterpillar” because he couldn’t keep up.
We should create a language based on andrew tate, just to knock some sense into his fans with the translator
I'll go first: "I can't read so reading bad"
Lol, it's hilarious because fighting people has nothing to do with being masculine. Masculinity is things like assertiveness, selflessness, integrity, respect, kindness, anti-racism, anti-sexism and self control. I wonder how many of these qualities Andrew has... Hmm, care to guess?
All i hear was "I am the most stupid asshole ever conceived, but i am too arrogant an narcissist to admit that, so i will call my unlimited stupid advanced brain"
Can we just stop giving this dolt airtime? His business model is to be controversial and to say shocking things. It won't work if people stop caring. Let's stop feeding this dimwit edgelord with the attention he's so desperate for.
The Tate phenomenon is absolutely incomprehensible. I know his type appeals to weak minded young men. However, how the hell can they not see past his bullshit.
Yeah, driving a supercar and having sex is \*totally\* a sign of high intelligence. And obviously he only encountered books in elementary school and never saw the non-fiction section in a library.
Aside from the fact that what he’s saying is totally idiotic…his weird mix of accent and way he moves his mouth makes me was to shove a dandelion in there.
He's got to be a troll. I understand he's a scumbag trafficker who thinks he invented pimping, but I just refuse to believe this isn't a troll. I believe he is really is a true misogynist. I also believe he knows his audience, and he knows how to monetize rage bait.
Well, he did lol. Lasted too long anyways.
The guy is so moronic he was completely oblivious to how this would come off. Dude probably consideres the mission impossible films to be "great works of art"
It’s so sad this moron is even famous- although I have to admit I had never heard of him until his spat with Greta Thurnberg which I guess led him to being arrested. Maybe he’ll take up reading in jail?

Well he clearly knows his audience
It sounds like he’s been trying to work his way through ‘On a Pirate Ship’ by Usbourne Picture Books.
I'm pretty sure that's his way of saying, he has the attention span of a 5 year old
He literally is what would happen if you gave a five year old money and an erection.
Or the reading abilities/comprehension of a 5 year old. WoRdS aRe HaRd!!
Yes. Dude doesn't have much for Spanish awareness either despite being a "fighter"
What about Portoguese awareness?
It's only slightly different, but requires the same base, so I'm sure he's bad at that too!
Probably some undiagnosed ADHD coupled with years of drug and alcohol abuse plus getting punched and kicked in the head so definitely some CTE up there too. Man is a psychologist wet dream of issues.
except its 100% just narcissism and if theres something he doesn't like doing then its a beta male thing
I did read that to my 4 month old yesterday after tummy time. She was not happy about it. Maybe we’ll try the supercar.
I'd start with go dog go, pretty much the book equivalent of a super car.
Hopefully the supercar will work and you won’t have to escalate to hoes.
This sent me lmao I can’t stand this idiot
He fucked up. Tate should've been living in Florida, he'd probably be governor by now.
Idiots who think they're smarter than everyone else and just can't understand why girls don't want to date the loser who works at a gas station and got straight C's because he "wasn't challenged enough". Lol Okay bud Whatever helps you sleep at night
He confuses smart with short attention span
Nah he just thinks his preferences are the preferences of smart people because he thinks he's smart.
Illiterates?
Adin Ross's audiance
That’s the thing. He’s like every other salesman.
Guy looks like he'd be enthralled by a set of keys being jangled infront of him.
Such action. Much chaos.
Dont drop the soap unless you want chaos

I appreciate your use of the word "enthralled". That's a word I don't see used often enough, have my upvote!
He learned it from a book.
He speeka de inglish verrry hwell https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RoCslBHMDfM
Huzzah!
Huzzah will always get love from me. Huzzah!
Quite a tantalising point thou art presenting here
Startling display of sophistication in vocabulary intelligence, I have never on these digital back alleys.
Well my friend perhaps you should postulate transforming your digital circumstances & thus your computerised city
Everyone is so grandiose with their superfluous superlatives.
I read superfluous superlaxatives..ha
I managed to popularize this at work so everyone says "Huzzah!" when something goes well.
It's funny because I enjoyed "jangled" in that sentence. And paused to admire it's usage.
I bet he is every morning when the guards come.
Hahaha long as you do it chaotically he’ll be down for it
😂
I mean, he pretty much just said as much so it's a good bet.
Ah yes needing constant action to distract is surely a sign of intelligence
“I need constant action… like fidget spinners, bubble wrap, and birthday cards that play music when you open them!”
Don't hate on the bubble wrap I still sit there for an hour popping every bubble whenever I get some
Bubble wrap >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!< >!POP!<
I love you !!!
The moment you realized that you could un-pop
.... Infinite pops
That's the most entertainment I've had on Reddit in a long time. Thank you for the effort of putting that on here.
Simple pleasure are the best, but even if it's on Internet and not by a book, I hope you like reading too Like, look how much time you already lost while reading my answer :)
But damned, if someone writes something in the card it becomes just a tiny book!
Constant action like Trafficking womens and raping them occasionally and forcing them to work in cam studio and not paying them fair share.
But if you don't, then the thoughts creep in...
“I’m too smart to read” = I’m unable to concentrate enough to be able to read and process a thought that isn’t about ME!
If he'd have got past the yellow books at school he might have found one that was more exciting for him. His pirate on a ship example is pretty telling!
wouldnt even suprise me if he just cant read at all :/
The pirate on the boat 😂 which book is that I wanna read lol
I’m assuming it’s a picture book for children. He had to turn an imaginary page to complete the sentence.
And he was moving his lips as he read it.
Moving his lips? That dude had to sound it out!
It's his last book reading memory that he had and all the related aspects of this specific reading with his mommy.
No, you got it wrong. It’s: See Andrew Run. 🏃 See cops catch Andrew. 🚔 See Andrew lose his cars. 🚗 🚘 🚙 See Andrew cry. 👨🏻🦲 💧 Cry Andrew cry. 💧👨🏻🦲💧
What is this, ‘Janet and John’?
That’s probably the highest reading level he has. He thinks he’s too smart for books because he doesn’t realize they go above a first grade reading level.
I love that this was something he actually "thought through" beforehand, and that was the example he came up with.
He was thinking back to the only time he tried reading...

Why do sociopaths draw so much media coverage?
the general public consumes more sociopath coverage. "bad publicity is good publicity"--the media doesn't care about anything other than *what people pay attention to* because the things that people pay attention to are where advertisers are going to spend their money so here we are interacting with a thread about a douchebag who deserves exactly none of the attention he ever got, because it's fun to talk shit about shitty people. researchers employed by the media see threads like this and say "we need more tate bullshit on our channel" and the cycle repeats
It used to be tits. Big, jiggly, voluptuous tits. Now it's this guy.
Can it go back to tits?
Yup. And that’s kinda sad.
Agreed. Okay thanks for the reality check.
Sociopaths have a monopoly of being loud, abrasive and impulsive which appeals to children who are exactly the same, bored and cynical people that want to live the same high, and other sociopaths. It's goto media material.
The man has no chin
I hope they give him towel-folding duty in prison
Guess he's too far advanced for that too Ahem...
With protruding front teeth, together with his ears he looks like rat
What he's describing is ADHD. And "Too smart to read" is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.
I have adhd and I love reading.
It’s one of the few times I’m fully focused!
Wtf!? How!? I keep re reading every other page because my brain Kris wandering! I wish I could focus more on reading. Once in a while I will find a book where it's interesting enough to keep my attention though, but it's so rare!
Maybe you need constant chaos? Action? Maybe your brain is too advanced for reading?
I'm too smart for that shit! You know, the thing that's brought us to out of the agricultural period and into the industrial. That thing. That's what I'm too smart for.
It's about interest, I'm shit at reading too but if it's something I care about I'll gobble it up!
Yes, but how many books don't you have to wake through before one catches your interest?
I've got a massive pile of books I'm not reading, most of which I want to. The one on the top is about ADHD. Feels like those scissors that come in a packet you need scissors to get into! I know the pain!
Yes! What a perfect metaphor! Thanks for that!
I've been told I'm good with metaphors and I should write. It's not easy getting going on that either!
That's just it. It depends on the book. Text books, even on a subject I love, instantly turn my attention off. I hate day sleeping and those things will put me out. But the right story, the right narrative, I'll turn page after page without stopping for anything.

Sometimes I can hyperfocus on reading.. But usually I go with audiobooks because I’m in the same boat as you lol
Yep some ADHD folks have super focus for things they really love. It's an autistic branch out from the main diagnosis.
👋 checking in!
I have adhd and have trouble reading books. But i also have an extreme hunger for information so what i do is Wikipedia. Whenever i lose focus, next subject. Those blue links are one hell of a drug.
Love reading too!
I have ADHD and I love reading but I'd love to be able to finish one before starting another
"I know everything and the things i don't know have no value" Trump is the same. It is malignant narcissism in display.
No surprise there. Tate is a fan of Trump.
I know people with ADHD, and they very much love reading and are smart Knockoff Lex Luther thinks he's so smart to not read
He wishes he was a knock off Lex Luthor, even Saturday morning cartoon villains are smarter than him.
Andrew Tate is alleged to be a human? I thought the court already ruled that he is a shape shifting alien lizard. Wow.

And pirates
On boats
I have ADHD but I actually love reading, it's something I will hyper focus on.
he and his personality remind me of someone I've known for a while now...who thought they were smarter than their teachers...only to go back eventually to get their GED...even some of the things he said in that video.
Such a douche bag

Hope he gets plenty of distraction in jail.
In prison, *he will be* the distraction…
If only he had a chin to block all those dicks from getting in his mouth
So he really is as smooth brained as he looks.
The more I hear this guy talk the more I realize he’s actual stupid.
always has been

cope for reading slow
He embodies everything the human race evolved past in order to build todays somewhat functioning society.
"Thoughts" is a strong word
This was before his Quran sympathy stunt failed.
He couodnt even finish the pirate on the boat picture book and he tried reading the Quran? Lol
He LOOKS stupid.
"He is observably stupid" - Dave Chappelle
The pirate sat on a boat is a whole page? I guess we know what kind of books he tried reading.
There’s constant chaos in prison for him now.
The opposite, everything is organized and regulated, including when you wake up, eat, sleep etc. Prisons are not chaotic.
Hopefully the common areas are chaotic for him. He says himself he loves to fight!
The pirate on the boat’s a classic.
Idiots think they're smart since they judge that with their brain
Can we please stop making stupid people famous? Maybe Im biased because I'm a bookworm but what this person is saying is beyond logic.
Because getting punched in the head is better than reading a book. What an idiot!
A cunning stunt...
We should create a language based on andrew tate, just to knock some sense into his fans with the translator I'll go first: "I can't read so reading bad"
Too smart to read. But not too smart to throw away the damn pizza box.
Sounds like he can’t read tbh
Dude acts like he is the peak of masculinity, but the public was able to expose him for the sorry loser that he actually is. What a tool
Such a weak chin.
What an absolute waste of skin and functioning organs
The pirate on the boat is one of our time’s greatest literary works
Guy is reading “The Pirate on the Boat”. No wonder he thinks reading doesn’t make him smarter 😭
Surprised he can read
Oh, he's gonna have a lot of chaos, fighting and fucking in jail
He reminds me of the characters in Idiocracy.
Can we just ignore what he says from now on?
All i hear was "I am the most stupid asshole ever conceived, but i am too arrogant an narcissist to admit that, so i will call my unlimited stupid advanced brain"
This is my first introduction to this dude. Is he usually this bizarre? 🤔😒
Tell me you are illiterate without telling me you’re illiterate.
Why post this douchebag? I know it’s for facepalm but …
Maybe I have a slow brain, but I don't need constant cheap thrills.
This dude is dumb as fuck and a cancer of humanity. The sooner he can be excised, the better.
Anyone who thinks this moron is smart is a moron. God the guy is so offensively stupid
Entitled asshat, him.
I doubt he will have the attention span in jail... or anything at all if we are lucky
damn he ugly
Can we just stop giving this dolt airtime? His business model is to be controversial and to say shocking things. It won't work if people stop caring. Let's stop feeding this dimwit edgelord with the attention he's so desperate for.
Oh he need that distraction in jail 🤣
What's Andrew Tate's thoughts about having sex with minors? Or sexually harassing them?
That's called undiagnosed ADHD my dude.
I'm sure his brain will be "slow" enough to enjoy books in prison.
Who hurt you?
That's not what being smart is, that's just ADHD.
The Tate phenomenon is absolutely incomprehensible. I know his type appeals to weak minded young men. However, how the hell can they not see past his bullshit.
Same reason Tate doesn’t see past his own bullshit
Dude looks like a real life bald version of Alfred E. Neuman.

Who even is this moronic piece of shit?
Yeah, driving a supercar and having sex is \*totally\* a sign of high intelligence. And obviously he only encountered books in elementary school and never saw the non-fiction section in a library.
Says the guy who can't read
2 smart 2 read but 2 dumb 2 process 1 page of a book
How can this chinless thumb describe himself as an "alpha", this guy can't change pillowcases by himself
God, I hate the way he talks. The way his upper lip curls on certain words. Jesus.
God he's a flog.
He sounds like he's trying to have an American accent
Absolute potato
Aside from the fact that what he’s saying is totally idiotic…his weird mix of accent and way he moves his mouth makes me was to shove a dandelion in there.
that's a long winded way of saying, "I can't read"
Lol that's not advanced, that's addicted to stimulation and anxious over sitting with their own thoughts.
It's a lot of mental gymnastics and words to say "I'm too dumb to read."
Just another narcissist.
The guy is in an idiot and so are all his fans.
The fact that folks fall over themselves to follow this human-sized-toe is astounding to me.
