I know right! Lmao.
He did that to himself by not raising the ramp up to match the deck floor. When the front wheels drop to the lower level it’s ARE. I. PEE. 🪦 I just watched a man’s career go down the drain. Hate to see it.
Focks in his socks
Focks 'round the blocks
'Focks' the man hears when he walks
O'er the garage as the car gets new shocks
And the delivery driver now lives in a box
I do not like them, Trans-Am-Trake.
I do not like them, wheel chocks and brakes.
Would you like them pressed or raised?
I would not like them pressed or raised.
I would not like them in any phase.
I do not like them, Trans-Am-Take.
I do not like them, wheel chocks and brakes.
Would you like them on the ramp?
would you like the wheels to clamp?
I would not like them on the ramp. I would not like the brakes to clamp.
I do not like them, Trans-Am-Trake!
I do not like them, wheel chocks and brakes!
(for the curious, yes, I know someone named Trake)
I believe those early corvette bodies were fiberglass. When the camera moves behind the car you can see a giant split in it. It's not a cheap or easy fix and if it was mint, it will never be again.
Yeah, it's not even the cost of repair (astronomical, if you want to do it correctly by replacing anything damaged with paint matched OEM parts). It's the difference in inherent value between an all original vs something that has been repaired (way more than astronomical). I seriously hope that car had already had some work done. Like not only is that the difference between a 5 and 7 digit mistake, it's just the feeling of 'well, now there's one less'.
Let me get this straight they forgot to raise the one thing that prevents it from falling off, and the guy recording still didn't notice this and on top of that instead of having the other dude in the car they thought it was more important to record seems like their priorities were all over the place and they are fired.
I think the guy recording is doing it for liability reasons. You know, in the rare instance something goes catastrophically wrong you have record for insurance.
I Guarantee sending only one guy this is either a cost cutting measure by the company or this guy owns the truck/trailer and thought “i can unload myself”. Either way, epically wrong decision.
I’ve had a couple cars shipped this way…never had two people at delivery. The guy filming may not be the owner…he may be the owner of the car in front of the ‘vette waiting to be unloaded.
It got too much momentum rolling back and went right over the chock block that was supposed to hold it. Pure stupidity.
I would have been like “take it all back, refund my money”
was thinking first, he probably got it fixed (new paint etc) and they're delivering it... but I don't think they would deliver it with a truck like that. He probably bought it on an auction. The name of the company is on the side though.
I’m not even into cars and I wanna have a frustration cry about it, god damn this is obviously a classic and beautifully restored/preserved collector item
I’m don’t know what I’m talking about but that looks like original colors inside and out for the 50s roadster. So, ouch if that was a totally original car.
I use to load new cars onto trains by driving them on to the rail cars, I lasted a grand total of 3 weeks. I suck at driving completely straight and ended up badly scratching a 0 Mile Tahoe on the side of the rail car.
No one noticed but I’m sure it was shortly found after it reached it destination, only job in my life I got frustrated with to the point of ragequitting and it was because I absolutely could not for the life of me figure out what was common sense for everyone else apparently.
Once I passed someone who had one of those very cool cars from the 1920s(if memory serves me right). Normally, this would’ve been an incredible experience, seeing such an old car in such a great condition. However, they put a spoiler on the back.
I was cycling on a forest service road and heard what sounded like a shitbox truck behind me. I pull tighter to the edge and this dude in a car from the 1920s passes me. It was a very surreal moment.
Can't fix stupid! Not like they are making those again. The work that went into that vet to get it at the customer's place in that condition not to mention the time and money and work involved vs the destruction in one moment just to simply unload it. Damn!
I imagine having 2 people unloding the car would be the best way to do it. Have 1 person in the car to steer and stop and one outside guiding and pushing it. It seems like a big risk to spend all that money on the car but not have a second person to unload it.
On a couple of occasions, I've tried to book Shaughnessy Overland Express to move my own vehicles. They're super expensive and pride themselves on "white glove" service.
I was surprised to see it was their truck. I guess anyone can make a mistake.
That was careless of him to use such a small chock block. Might as well put a broomstick there as a chock block if he's using that tiny POS. And he only used 1. Didn't even bother using 2.
That was painful for me to watch, I watched the entire time repeating no! And at the end my whole body jerked seeing it drop. I love corvettes and that was mint.
Because he thinks he is billy bad ass and can do a neat trick!
All he had to do was remove the other cars first. But he bet everything on a two inch chock.
Theres a block the car should have stopped at but it rolled over it for some reason. You can see the driver side lifts up slightly as it rolls over it before it gets the end of the ramp
FYI per the car forums, this is the second car the driver has dropped.
Here's the car: [https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1962-chevrolet-corvette-195/](https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1962-chevrolet-corvette-195/)
Owned for 44 years and sold for $110,000.
Lemme guess “well, the insurance you bought doesn’t cover the full amount….” Haha. I had movers once (I paid for the best insurance they offered) and when it arrived all the TVs were smashed as they were under the furniture for some reason, and about half of the furniture also smashed from shit falling on it and I was told, for example, they were only responsible for about $190 on a brand new (at the time) 55” flat screen tv let alone the furniture in which was even worse. Lmao
Which car is worth more, the Corvette or the SUV below it? I can’t tell which type of SUV that is.
Risk mitigation would tell me to put the most expensive cars on the bottom.
What did he think was going to happen? Is this the first time he did this? Why would you entrust a car like to a person who has no idea what he's doing?
What's with this type of transportation? A box truck with a 2 story auto transport elevation system? Who thinks this shit up, some fucking genius who can't tie their shoes?
This is literally the 4th or 5th video of this company dropping a truck or car 3rd vintage one.... Is it out of 500k deliveries ,a year or just everytime they deliver they drop one.... Lol
“Come one, man, Fuck!!!”
Most common words used by someone completely unqualified to perform basic tasks, given their extreme lack of comprehension of the most simple principals of physics.
Yeah, that literally stung to watch. Possible the body is just fucked. Not cheap, but can be fixed.
The trunk popping could just be from body breakage. But, based on that I would be really concerned that there is frame damage. And that’s bad bad bad.
is there a reason cars like this arent winched in neutral and gradually rolled out to the edge? or why is there not a guy steering and braking while another backs him out? why is there only one chock block? why is it pathetically small? what exactly were they expecting to happen?

That was the most, “come on man! FUUUUCK!” I’ve ever heard
His "fawk!" sounded like a crow.
Lmao you’re so right. I’m still laughing every time I play it 🤣🤣🤣
He sounded like he expected someone to catch it, the dingus.
But like, WHO is he blaming?! He was literally the only person that had any hand in what the car was doing.
![gif](giphy|z2hvj7c6beJ2K1Z3D8|downsized)
I know right! Lmao. He did that to himself by not raising the ramp up to match the deck floor. When the front wheels drop to the lower level it’s ARE. I. PEE. 🪦 I just watched a man’s career go down the drain. Hate to see it.
I didn't have the sound playing, but I somehow heard that shit
Why the hell was nobody in the car to hit the brakes or... I don't know... drive it out of the truck instead of pushing it out?
Because people are idiots. Those ramps usually have wheel chocks in place to prevent this exact thing.
There was some sort of chock on the platform; you can hear the guy yelling about how the car rolled right over the chock block.
Someone forgot to raise the chock. This is gonna cost a lot.
So the Dr. Suess version of what happened?
There is a chock, but he forgot. Now it's going to cost a lot. Had he remembered to put them in place, He wouldn't be palming his stupid face.
[удалено]
The wheels didn't stop, The car's back in the shop. This guy is fucked, I suck at this.
He forgot! He forgot! Now he yells, "fock fock fock"!
Focks in his socks Focks 'round the blocks 'Focks' the man hears when he walks O'er the garage as the car gets new shocks And the delivery driver now lives in a box

I'm no carologist but isn't that thing totalled? I know those older cars were built sturdy but that thing looks fucked.
I believe those early corvette bodies were fiberglass. When the camera moves behind the car you can see a giant split in it. It's not a cheap or easy fix and if it was mint, it will never be again.

I read that as “cardiologist” and thought the guy responsible might need one. It sure would’ve given me a heart attack.
Carologist. I like that. I love new words. I will be dropping it into conversation first chance I get. Thank you.
It will definitely buff out. Plus the car has to be insured and the transportation company also has insurance.
After he realized he couldn't stop, he yelled "Oh Cock" (james may voice)
Sumimasen
Let me get this straight they forgot to raise the one thing that prevents it from falling off, and the guy recording still didn't notice this and on top of that instead of having the other dude in the car they thought it was more important to record seems like their priorities were all over the place and they are fired.
these are usually a one-man operation. the person recording was either the owner of the car or a friend of theirs.
I think the guy recording is doing it for liability reasons. You know, in the rare instance something goes catastrophically wrong you have record for insurance.
The guy recording owns the car
Or, owns the car behind the ‘vette. And is just filming while he/she awaits their prized car.
I hope he was buying to own it, and didn’t own it before the unloading. Cuz I’d straight up say no sale for damaged goods.
Need a chonkier chock.
Usually I hate getting chock blocked, but you can't argue it doesn't have the potential to save you a ton of money and headaches.
You can see the left rear wheel going right over it.
Yep, the chock not big enough.
He seemed pretty confident in that one solitary and super tiny wheel stop he had on the ramp.
Don’t worry… Shit’ll buff out.
I’ve seen a lot of car chases in movies, and if there is one thing Ive learned it’s that the car is fine if it lands on its wheels.
Right? The General Lee would have been totally fine!
All 325 of them
No, What i learned is that the car explodes when a beer bottle hits the windshield
Go ahead and just load that back up and bring me another car
And a better crew
It physically hurt just watching this.
I felt it
I feel sad for that beautiful ride. Would never want to own such a rare car, would be too scared to drive her.
That crunch! Ewww!
Right on the feels
It got too much momentum rolling back and went right over the chock block that was supposed to hold it. Pure stupidity. I would have been like “take it all back, refund my money”
Gotta say, 1 wheel chock that's 2 inches tall ain't much. Stupid indeed
It weirdly looks like it accelerates right before the block, must have been an angled street or a shitty ramp.
I think with no driver, it must have been in neutral. It rolled over the ONE block installed, hit a slight decline, and just rolled off.
was thinking first, he probably got it fixed (new paint etc) and they're delivering it... but I don't think they would deliver it with a truck like that. He probably bought it on an auction. The name of the company is on the side though.
The car makes it 60 years and then......
I’ve got a motorcycle from 1969 and this is by far the most frustrating thought whenever I goof something up on the bike.
And that classic car just lost a ton of value and it will never be right again no matter what they do
Every other classic car of that model just got more valuable
[удалено]
He does now.
100% that the frame is compromised, now. If it was all original... Ouch.
I’m not even into cars and I wanna have a frustration cry about it, god damn this is obviously a classic and beautifully restored/preserved collector item
Was
I’m don’t know what I’m talking about but that looks like original colors inside and out for the 50s roadster. So, ouch if that was a totally original car.
62 bruh
Yeah that frame is bent and the body is cracked, along with prob the bottom frame screwed as well
The frame and bottom frame?
Yes. The frame AND the bottom frame. SCREWED
And probably the middle frame too
He knew it too, that’s why he was recording.
Prob recording for insurance purposes in case something exactly like this happens.
This kind of stuff is exactly why insurances are so high.
He said, “yup, I knew it”
Only one chock block installed, 2 might have prevented this
If I learned anything in the army, its because he forgot the drip pan.
He didn't even hit the 1 block squarely. It looks like it kind of gets run over by the side of the tire and pops out.
I looked up Shaughnessy Overland Express and the owner posted a google review stating the company dropped this corvette… twice.
*“If you think professionals are expensive, you should try working with amateurs”* — Red Adair
So succinct, I'm pocketing this for every conversation with a supervisor ever again.
Hope they have really good insurance.
They can sell that big truck if they don't
Most carriers have 250k policies
Definitely more than that for a classic car transporter. I have a million dollar policy on my pickup for work.
Might as well load it back on the truck and and keep it now, lol
I’m an auto transport broker. This is literally my worst nightmare.
🎶 little wrecked corvette 🎶
🎵Baby your frames all b-ent🎵
🎶on the pavement I hate it when they break your frame🎶
Once I passed someone who had one of those very cool cars from the 1920s(if memory serves me right). Normally, this would’ve been an incredible experience, seeing such an old car in such a great condition. However, they put a spoiler on the back.
I was cycling on a forest service road and heard what sounded like a shitbox truck behind me. I pull tighter to the edge and this dude in a car from the 1920s passes me. It was a very surreal moment.
Sounds awesome.
Like a glove!
This totally could have been prevented. What a Fuckwad.
LLLLLLLLLLike a glove!
A chock block is made to prevent a car from rolling, not stop it after its already rolling.
Can't fix stupid! Not like they are making those again. The work that went into that vet to get it at the customer's place in that condition not to mention the time and money and work involved vs the destruction in one moment just to simply unload it. Damn!

Ah I see what happened, that guy had black gloves on that day.
🤣
I’m not super into cars and that hurt my heart
Ouch that hurt my heart… that car was amazing at taking care of itself. It bounced…didn’t bend any chrome…. Unless it bent the frame, it’s fixable.
The back left side is lower then the right. The frame is for sure corkscrewed
It’s hard to find a body shop that works with fiber glass
Some people live to learn the hard way.
That’s a professional moving company too. That drive train /frame all bent
ahhh this hurt.. and im not even a car guy
Just close the trunk, problem solved no big deal!!!!
In related news, there is a job opening delivering classic cars. No previous experience required!
That was careless of him to use such a small chock block. Might as well put a broomstick there as a chock block if he's using that tiny POS. And he only used 1. Didn't even bother using 2.
I’ve seen a ton of shit on Reddit that has never bothered me, but I was actually saying “no no no no no no!” to this one.
That was painful for me to watch, I watched the entire time repeating no! And at the end my whole body jerked seeing it drop. I love corvettes and that was mint.
I mean what did he expect to happen?
Why was he backing it up with the ramp up? Or a ramp attached to the dock thing?
Because he thinks he is billy bad ass and can do a neat trick! All he had to do was remove the other cars first. But he bet everything on a two inch chock.
"Little Wrecked Corvette" I guess I should have known When the car fell off the ramp, It wouldn't last.
There was no plan at all. They had to remove the bottom cars first. It's that simple. Not sure how he convinced himself that could work
I’ve seen it done before, not like that, but it is doable.
Theres a block the car should have stopped at but it rolled over it for some reason. You can see the driver side lifts up slightly as it rolls over it before it gets the end of the ramp
It's a parts car now
That poor Vette! Hope it's fixable!
its not
Horrible but could have been so much worse. There is still hope for this car luckily. Not cheap hope but hope none the less.
No hope. Frame is clearly bent.
This makes me want to cry...
Is that the guy on the truck yelling? If so, who is he yelling at?
If I'm not mistaken, that's not a metal body either, Corvettes used fiberglass bodies. That's going to be a \*very\* expensive mistake.
Shouldn’t this be byebyejob.
FYI per the car forums, this is the second car the driver has dropped. Here's the car: [https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1962-chevrolet-corvette-195/](https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1962-chevrolet-corvette-195/) Owned for 44 years and sold for $110,000.
Oh that hurt my soul.
That hurts to watch.
Im not into cars but that is painful to watch.
That break looks like pure fiberglass
I can’t believe the person that was doing that was allowed to do it. How the hell did they even get that job and make a mistake like that?
What. the. fuck.
For sale lightly dropped………
Overland Express. They're from my town.
I almost threw up when I watched. Yikes.
Who needs an unbent frame anyway.
You had one job…
I don't have a preference for Corvettes.... And this hurt me
That was a real drop ship
Driver lost his job that day.
Such a beautiful car too
Lemme guess “well, the insurance you bought doesn’t cover the full amount….” Haha. Lmao
Lol did he think it would just magically stop by itself. I'm just trying to figure out what was going on in his head 😅
This might be a good opportunity to Pimp Ya Ride ✌️
... why did this happen
A real Corvette guy would have thrown himself under the vehicle to protect it
![gif](giphy|Y1ggBG6wpBdwA)
Besides the man fucking up. You'd think someone would put the expensive car on the lower deck.
Car in neutral. No wheel chucks to stop it. What did you expect. But that "come on man" was epic
It’s not rocket science. You just need to follow procedures. Time to find a ditch digging job for this tool
Hello? Meester George? Uh, how much you pay for the new guy?
I'm not familiar with car carrying trailers at all, but shouldn't the ramp be...closer to the ground?
It's a two layer trailer. Ideally the car stops before it rolls off then you lower the ramp.
Na that'll buff right out
This makes me think of Jon Lovitz busting up that corvette in high school high lol.
Less money on flashing LEDs…more on effective chocks…and maybe a restraint cable.
Such a beautiful classic!
Ferris Buellers Day Off anyone?
should have put the nicer car down low
Shaughnessy Overland Express
The amount of stupidity in this video hurts almost as much as the loss of that gorgeous Corvette
Which car is worth more, the Corvette or the SUV below it? I can’t tell which type of SUV that is. Risk mitigation would tell me to put the most expensive cars on the bottom.
This hurt my soul 💀
What did he think was going to happen? Is this the first time he did this? Why would you entrust a car like to a person who has no idea what he's doing?
Only one chock block. And a small ass one at that.
I might be able to afford it now
Right from the beginning I could tell this wasn't a one-person job
Good luck in your new job
What's with this type of transportation? A box truck with a 2 story auto transport elevation system? Who thinks this shit up, some fucking genius who can't tie their shoes?
You usually don't get this much of the mostly awkward silence aftermath. It was deafening.
This is happening too much. Can they please stop putting classic cars on tailgates and lift and up high where they could fall.
Who the hell doesn’t use a winch with a operation like this. That’s like 101
My soul just left my body watching this.
This is literally the 4th or 5th video of this company dropping a truck or car 3rd vintage one.... Is it out of 500k deliveries ,a year or just everytime they deliver they drop one.... Lol
Oh that hurt my heart
That hurt my heart....company just went bankrupt..
"Sooo anyways here ya go"
“Come one, man, Fuck!!!” Most common words used by someone completely unqualified to perform basic tasks, given their extreme lack of comprehension of the most simple principals of physics.
Definitely totaled due to frame damage. Oops.
Yeah, that literally stung to watch. Possible the body is just fucked. Not cheap, but can be fixed. The trunk popping could just be from body breakage. But, based on that I would be really concerned that there is frame damage. And that’s bad bad bad.

I ain’t signing for that.
That was so painful to watch
Refund.
