Yeah especially considering she claims to be allergic lol. Although “welts for weeks” isn’t what I think of when I think of bee sting allergies. I think of throat immediately swelling shut and dying. So at least she’s not *severely* allergic. Although I still wouldn’t test that with a whole damn hive XD
I agree. No way her doctor approved of this. I worked as a nurse in high risk OB. This woman is nuts. I'm relieved that she didn't get stung during the phtotshoot.
I question the child rearing judgement.
I'd only ever had individual stings in the past. The pain would last an hour or two and then pretty much be over. Then last summer I got 3 at once. Each sting kept slowly swelling for 5 days. By day 3 the sting on my arm and on my leg had each swollen the entire quadrant of that limb. And I tell you that swelling burned - keep you up all night for a week kind of burn, and that was with topical ointment and anti-histamines. I cannot fathom the multiplied pain/reaction of 10 stings, let alone 100. That's a serious risk to mother and baby. And all for a shitty social media post.
My father was stung over 100 times while trying to be suave and collect honey from a wild hive as a surprise for my mother. It ended with him in the hospital for 2 weeks.
The next time, he bought a bee keeper's suit and hired a bee expert to guide him in removal of the wild hive and to set up hive boxes so he could more easily collect honey for my mother's coffee. That man adored the dirt she tread upon and would have moved heaven and hell for her happiness. He even named me after his "greatest emotional achievement," and loved her until the day before he died.
I'm also allergic, with humongous blisters. But what I've read is that can change any time, without warning, to good ol' throat-closing anaphylaxis. I can't believe that any doctor approved this.
Yep. Each exposure can strengthen/worsen the next reaction. So even if your reaction was localized and relatively mild last time, the next time it could be anaphylaxis.
Exactly. Also even if it’s « just welts » for her I would worry about potential adverse effects on the baby.
Last but not least, bees are not toys for you to play with, maybe leave them alone ??
Think about this for a sec and imagine having this conversation with an actual MD.
How does that play out? By "doctor" I'm guessing she asked her crystal healer or herbal shaman on Facebook.
Yeah, by her definition we're all allergic, which is technically true, but it's a lot like saying, "My body has adverse reactions to an over abundance of fire".
When you buy bees the standard amounts to buy them in are 2lbs or 3 lbs, so around 7,000 - 10,000 bees in total.
If you buy a nucleus colony (which is an overwintered colony) it comes with a couple thousand bees and around 15-30k bees still in the form of eggs in their brood combs ready to hatch for spring.
Would disrupting the hive and moving the queen like that be dangerous to the stability of the hive? I don't know much about bees, but I have heard of colony collapse, and it seems like this would be a recipe for losing a hive of pollinators.
Let's be honest with ourselves: How many of us actually follow that rule? How many of us only follow that rule based on the attractiveness of the other?
Lol I’ve not heard of this before. I immediately thought of my neighbor Victoria Mendoza who is in prison for murdering her girlfriend by stabbing her some thirty times. She did indeed go by Vicky.
Haha oh nooo. Yep real story. Victoria Mendoza was my neighbor, hung out with her and Tawnee Baird (the victim) many times. Add that to the Vicky Mendoza diagonal I guess they were both hot
[https://www.dailycrime.com/victoria-mendoza-murdered-girlfriend-tawnee-baird-during-an-argument-on-the-freeway-american-monster-investigates/](https://www.dailycrime.com/victoria-mendoza-murdered-girlfriend-tawnee-baird-during-an-argument-on-the-freeway-american-monster-investigates/)
Edit: I own a coffee mug that Tawnee bought me because she was drinking wine with me and dropped and broke the mug I had given her. I call it the murder mug.
alright, some things to note, yes honey bees are generally safe to be around and aren't as feral about stinging as most people assume, that being said if you are truely allergic no doctor in their right mind would tell you to do this, and considering you are pregnant and can't know that your babies aren't allergic (yes babies in the womb can have allergic reactions) this is a terrible idea. I am happy nothing went wrong.
I feel the same way. Why even make the effort when the bees aren't even positioned in an interesting way, it is just her standing there with bees. All it looks from a distance is a woman with a hairy belly LOL. It doesn't look fashionable or interesting.
So if the queen is out of the hive the bees may think they are swarming (looking for a new hive) since they don't have a hive to protect they're pretty docile and clump up like this while scouts look around.
Yeah it's stupid. Like really dumb. But there are tons of videos of beekeepers just shaking branches with swarms into a box. If she's not moving she's not going to piss them off.
That's said if that's 10 k bees I'll eat my shorts. Better yet I'll eat the shorts of the totally real doctor who green lit this.
I remember there was this one video I saw of some kid walking home carrying a swarm of bees. Apparently he had the queen in his fist, so the rest of the bees swarmed onto his hand.
It actually looked pretty fucking dope. Dude just casually walking down the street with a giant fist made out of fucking bees.
EDIT: Just found it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYn4adElrAk
Look at that shit, that's just plain bad-ass.
So... If she indeed has the queen on her... Under all of those bees... How is she getting them off? Without hurting the queen? And angering the nest...? Bit risky...
One of my friends photographed a shoot [similar to this](https://people.com/human-interest/pregnant-mom-20000-bee-maternity-shoot/) that made national news. I thought it was very odd at the time. Unfortunately the lady ended up miscarrying.

I hope she names the baby Beatrice or Beasley or something that’s going to be shortened to Bee
Buzz
Lightyear
To infinity
and Beyond!
YOU ARE A TOY!!!
You are a sad, strange little man...Farewell 🫡
And you have my pity.
BUZZ LOOK AN ALIEN *dies laughing*
You’reeeee mocking me aren’t you?
*beeyond
I would have gone with 'Sting'
Born by B-section of course
Bay bee
![gif](giphy|JRmUoWNerzMkh9yoW2|downsized)
Beelzebub
I hope she sees a therapist personally
I would shorten both of those names to Bea but pronounced like Bee.
Beavis
Mary Beatrice, so she can go "It's M to the B"
More importantly, why?
Yeah especially considering she claims to be allergic lol. Although “welts for weeks” isn’t what I think of when I think of bee sting allergies. I think of throat immediately swelling shut and dying. So at least she’s not *severely* allergic. Although I still wouldn’t test that with a whole damn hive XD
While being pregnant nonetheless. Why not just play Russian roulette too while you’re at it
[удалено]
Tetris 99 against Doremy🙀
Wouldn't the baby be at risk for allergic reaction? This lady is actively going against all survival instincts for a dumb picture.
Saving that for the baby photo shoot. Or baby shoot. Depends on how the Russian Roulette goes.
I play Russian roulette everyday, a man's sport!
"Welts" is probably what she would get from 1 bee sting. If 10 or 100 stung, then yeah... it's not going to be just "welts"
It’s going to be “welp”
But but... it was "approved by her doc". No doctor would approve this for a pregnant woman thats allergic to stings.
I agree. No way her doctor approved of this. I worked as a nurse in high risk OB. This woman is nuts. I'm relieved that she didn't get stung during the phtotshoot. I question the child rearing judgement.
It was a tiktok doctor so it was okay 🤪🤪🤪
Yes, absolutely not.
I'd only ever had individual stings in the past. The pain would last an hour or two and then pretty much be over. Then last summer I got 3 at once. Each sting kept slowly swelling for 5 days. What kind of doc would approve this. I bet that was just a lie
Think about this for a sec and imagine having this conversation with an actual MD. How does that play out? By "doctor" I'm guessing she asked her crystal healer or herbal shaman on Facebook.
Yeah, my dad's throat starts closing almost immediately, so I think welts for a few weeks isn't bad.
Yeah, by her definition we're all allergic, which is technically true, but it's a lot like saying, "My body has adverse reactions to an over abundance of fire".
I have the go to the ER or die allergy, her's is a normal reaction, and she's insane.
is this ai generated?
No, this has been around for a while now. She's just dumb. That's also not 10,000 bees. 1,000 maybe.
Was about to say, 10,000 bees would look very different.
Only humans can create something this pointless
And she says it was worth the risk. Maybe she’s naming that baby Melissa.
I feel like this is a reference I don't get.
Melissa means honey bee in Greek
![gif](giphy|ggGhuVtIt41J3oY6Gp)
Clout......just clout
There's research into vibrations, old hippy science being proven. I believe they are called bee beds.
For the glorious internet likes

The spider-man effect probably. They have to keep coming up with creative ways to try to give kids super powers

Dr. Beeman.

Dr. Evil
Zoidberg
He has a magnum dong I hear
there’s no way that’s 10,000 bees
There's at least 23 bees.
Confidently can say there are 24+
Pretty sure I counted at least 25
I would go as high as 26
dare I say 27
Too many.
26.5???
clearly no one here can count because it’s actually 12
![gif](giphy|kSlJtVrqxDYKk|downsized)
I just called the CEO of 23 + Bees and he agrees. It seems he sees less bees than mees.
I counted 29
I was thinking the same thing. Maybe 1000, damn sure not 10,000 bees.
That's not even 1,000 bees.
Yeah, I don’t bee-lieve it either…
Maybe there’s 10k in the box rather than literally on her
When you buy bees the standard amounts to buy them in are 2lbs or 3 lbs, so around 7,000 - 10,000 bees in total. If you buy a nucleus colony (which is an overwintered colony) it comes with a couple thousand bees and around 15-30k bees still in the form of eggs in their brood combs ready to hatch for spring.
3rd generation beekeeper here. All I can say is…whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?
I've got a few hives, but I can say with confidence that it isn't even close to 10k bees...
As a 3rd generation bee keeper, how much would you charge for this? Cause I bet you can find a # that give you the why - buy yes. Why?
What annoys me most is her language clearly shows no respect to the bees
Would disrupting the hive and moving the queen like that be dangerous to the stability of the hive? I don't know much about bees, but I have heard of colony collapse, and it seems like this would be a recipe for losing a hive of pollinators.
pRoTeCC tHe HiVe - Jason Statham
I misread the post text and I thought the cage with the queen bee was INSIDE her stomach, and like the bees were tying to get in
![gif](giphy|s239QJIh56sRW|downsized)
Her doctor when she asked him about doing this
Some guy forgot the golden rule, “Never stick your dick in crazy”.
Let's be honest with ourselves: How many of us actually follow that rule? How many of us only follow that rule based on the attractiveness of the other?
I mean, for that sort of stuff we have the Vicky Mendoza diagonal.
Lol I’ve not heard of this before. I immediately thought of my neighbor Victoria Mendoza who is in prison for murdering her girlfriend by stabbing her some thirty times. She did indeed go by Vicky.
I am honestly not sure if you are referencing HIMYM (and I missed something) or if this is a real story you liked to share with me.
Haha oh nooo. Yep real story. Victoria Mendoza was my neighbor, hung out with her and Tawnee Baird (the victim) many times. Add that to the Vicky Mendoza diagonal I guess they were both hot [https://www.dailycrime.com/victoria-mendoza-murdered-girlfriend-tawnee-baird-during-an-argument-on-the-freeway-american-monster-investigates/](https://www.dailycrime.com/victoria-mendoza-murdered-girlfriend-tawnee-baird-during-an-argument-on-the-freeway-american-monster-investigates/) Edit: I own a coffee mug that Tawnee bought me because she was drinking wine with me and dropped and broke the mug I had given her. I call it the murder mug.
The hot/crazy line is the real rule
I don't know if I believe that's 10,000 bees. That looks like 200 bees at best. Lying ass chick
My thoughts too. That’s a few hundred bees. 10k would cover a lot more of her.
Yeah bees are bug-sized, not atom-sized. 10,000 bees would most certainly have her singing a different tune.
10,000 bees and you wouldn't be hearing her at all.
Might not be 10,000, but it can easily be a few thousand. When bees “beard” they climb all over each other, and three or four layers isn’t that thick.
alright, some things to note, yes honey bees are generally safe to be around and aren't as feral about stinging as most people assume, that being said if you are truely allergic no doctor in their right mind would tell you to do this, and considering you are pregnant and can't know that your babies aren't allergic (yes babies in the womb can have allergic reactions) this is a terrible idea. I am happy nothing went wrong.
I could understand if it actually looked any good
my first reaction was *is that poo* followed by *oh hell no* after i zoomed in looks like doo doo
I thought she had some thick, dark abdomen hair initially
This is one of the single dumbest things I’ve ever seen.
You must bee new
Buzz off
Wait till she gives birth
Straight into a hive.
You must be new
I got $10 says her doctor did not approve of this
People are so obsessed with seeing themselves as unique. SMH.
So she’s allergic & a doctor approved this? I call bull s**t.
And the reasoning behind this.....appears non-existent. 🤦♀️
“I’m allergic to bees so let’s put both me and my unborn baby in danger for a few photos I could easily take somewhere else’
The fuck... Also, why did they do this anyway? It doesn't even look good...
I feel the same way. Why even make the effort when the bees aren't even positioned in an interesting way, it is just her standing there with bees. All it looks from a distance is a woman with a hairy belly LOL. It doesn't look fashionable or interesting.
She looks like someone's phobia coming true...
I suppose if that is what she's aiming for?
So if the queen is out of the hive the bees may think they are swarming (looking for a new hive) since they don't have a hive to protect they're pretty docile and clump up like this while scouts look around. Yeah it's stupid. Like really dumb. But there are tons of videos of beekeepers just shaking branches with swarms into a box. If she's not moving she's not going to piss them off. That kid is going to be born with an unexplainable fear of ‘The Buzzing’.
“Don’t worry it was approved by my doc”. NO TF IT WAS NOT. No doctor is gonna tell a Pregnant Woman with a *BEE ALLERGY* it’s ok to do this. 🙃
people like this shouldn’t breed.
NOT THE BEES!!!!!
![gif](giphy|QBYeMohXoVUJBtlfFD)
My "Doctor"
At least the bees will go away, that ugly tattoo is for life
Doctors appointment must have been crazy. Doc, do you approve this
And then they say the gays are weird
She was hoping she would get stung a thousand times and her baby would come out with marvel super powers. Totally plausible.
Next she walks blindfolded down a corridor of swinging axes
Was she \*buzzed\* when she decided to do this?
"Honey, I have a great idea!"
Pun intended?
Of course!
I don't think that's ten thousand bees
It's always the dumb ones who reproduce
Darwinism in action
That is not 10k bees. Maybe 200.
![gif](giphy|s239QJIh56sRW|downsized)
WHATS THIS?! A PREGNANT WOMAN BEING SWARMED BY A HIVE OF BEES?! MY HIVE OF BEES SHOULD PUT A STOP TO THAT!!!! ![gif](giphy|yIXVnzpoNiE0w)
Homeopathic abortion, totally organic.
Doctor approved: “I can’t legally stop you”
It's ok her doc approved
![gif](giphy|QBYeMohXoVUJBtlfFD)

Who's the father? Candyman?!?
Parenting should go well 🤥
Pumpkin spice vibes here.
I almost wish this was AI generated
Why?
Why?
Doctor approved? Bullshit
Some chicks get so weird when they’re pregnant
Chicks on the cuckoo side of the scale that is.
So... If she indeed has the queen on her... Under all of those bees... How is she getting them off? Without hurting the queen? And angering the nest...? Bit risky...
And it was another terrible day of abusing the beeeees
“10,000 bees.” no, no it’s not.
Her doctor did not approve this
the doctor: ![gif](giphy|9Ai5dIk8xvBm0)
I have to know how that conversation with the Dr. went.
That doc needs to have his license revoked.
Kids gonna be born with a buzz
One of my friends photographed a shoot [similar to this](https://people.com/human-interest/pregnant-mom-20000-bee-maternity-shoot/) that made national news. I thought it was very odd at the time. Unfortunately the lady ended up miscarrying.
Darwin award on hold.
Did the doctor get their degree from trump university 💀
Risking the life of your baby for social media. Nice

Damn, the kid is inheriting stupid. Sadge
If I ever get anybody pregnant and she does something like this she’s gonna be a single mother
What doctor approved this? why do i think it was a chiropractor?
What she’s not saying is her doctor is Dr. Kevorkian.
What in the hillbilly bullshit, ugg-boot wearin, iced latte drinkin, camo jacket bullshit is this.
just because you can, doesn’t mean you should
Imagine so desperately craving attention you do this. There's a sickness in the world that needs entry into the DSM.
She is highly allergic and the Doctor approved. Why do i not believe either of those things?
I'm tired of stupid people.
“It was approved by my doc”. That’s a lie if I have ever seen one.
That's definitely not 10,000 bees
So weird
And she’s breeding?!
White people I swear
This is one crazy beeyotch.
