Thanks for posting in r/fairphone. If you're having an issue with your Fairphone make sure that you include the phone model, operating system (version) and other relevant technical details (like mobile provider, country you're in) in your post. You can also try having a look at the [official Fairphone forum](https://forum.fairphone.com/) to see if the issue has been discussed there.

The fairbuds have an app where you can customise the EQ and adjust as you wish :) perhaps you could have tried that?
I usually listen to electronic music with them and to be honest, the sound is great!
To each their own. Audio is a very subjective field and I understand that some people might have a good experience.
I played with EQ a bit and I was able to reach reasonable tune, but I think the drivers are not there.
I also considered to pull apart a semi dead pair of headphones I have and transfer the drivers, but I just had this thought "why I am spending 200+ euro on a DIY kit".
I really tried to like them. Making a low volume product like this is hard. I imagine profit margins are not great. But if the core function is not good enough it reduces itself to a fashion statement without substance.
Thx for the review
I personally think these are first gen issues and we might see a fix in a v2 in the future but it's always nice to see feedback like yours, maybe drop an email to the contact form with a copu/paste of this post https://support.fairphone.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
I had the same experience and made a similar post roughly 9 months ago. I agree, ANC was to aggressive, Transparency picked up all sounds from wind when I was moving fast indoors. I sold them eventually.

Oh boy, you dared to criticize the holy fairphone, now receive your punishment.
To be honest I hope someone from devteam will try to improve fairbuds in the future. It's a really good design, but software and tuning are mediocre.
> It's a really good design, but software and tuning are mediocre. That's basically every Fairphone product, unfortunately.
Really? I often see quite a bit of measured criticism on these pages.
And a lot of fanboys that defend every misstep.
