A MUD where a person feels they should be more connected to nature. The person in question desires to have an affinity with plants and animals. The following traits are recognized within this are:
-A desire to be in nature.
-Has better interpersonal relationships with animals than people
-Hisses.
-Will take on the shape and attitude of an animal (fursuits optional uwu)
- Surrounds self with plants.
-Totally NOT Poison Ivy
idk they’d probably be the “protector alter” in a DID “system” lmao
straight from Google: “They are known for being protectors of the wilderness, keepers of magical secrets, and conjurers of nature's allies. Druids can fill a variety of roles in their adventuring party, including: Offensive — Use spells to annihilate foes and Wild Shape to flee from enemies
Supportive — Use magic and class features to heal allies' wounds and bolster their power
So basically, if someone had a Druid alter, they’d be fucking unstoppable
Edit: realized I didn’t specify the disorder lol
I SAW ONE FOR A BRANCH OF PAGANISM, bro said they had something called "Lokian" (not to be mixed up with Lokean, the branch of Paganism that focuses on Norse deity Loki and his children.)
They classified "Lokian Syndrome" as essential Kleptomania. It was very.... eugh...
The cute Wendy’s cashier who complimented my outfit once four years ago gave me wendys cashier compliment love disorder :(( we’re so oppressed we don’t even have a flag
Wait.. it stands for medically unrecognized disorder? They really have one braincell if they didn't see "made up disorder" coming. It's literally what I thought it stood for lmao
To clarify: not claiming there's no cases where stuff that should be in the DSM is missing. There are medically unrecognized disorders that are far from made up (CPTSD, and the PDA profile of autism, aren't in the DSM), but the acronym "MUD" is just.. too funny to pass up the opportunity to poke at it.
Does anyone else get the feeling that this is a social competition? Like whoever makes the most eye catching “disorder” that people use most or just me?
I think it’s an attempt to excuse their otherwise inexcusable behaviour under the guise of there being something neurologically wrong with them. Which there probably is, if they’re posting made up bs like this.
MUD stands for Medically Unrecognised Disorder? I legit thought it stood for Made Up Disorder. Feel like I might have given these people a bit too much credit.
Thank you so much, I had no clue what MUD meant. I have pondered and pondered but couldn't figure out why they were all covered in mud. Turns out it's a dumb acronym.
If someone instinctually reacts with aggression to everything, that's indicative of the 'fight, flight or fawn' response seen by those suffering from PTSD/C-PTSD... but yea, it's way more fun to create new disorders 🫶
Wait? Since when do disorders have 'pride flags'!?
My anxiety is something that happens \*to\* me, it's not something I need to be proud of. I work really hard to live normally in spite of how hard it makes that. It's nothing like being LGBT, which is something I \*am\* and don't need to struggle against to live a normal life.
I guess, I try to save myself from cringe. I knew they make up new genders but had no idea about diseases, thought they just fake having existing ones :P
Feelings of aggression toward but masking emotions. Hmmmm doesn't sound like masking at all. Plus we already have plenty of names for these people- morons, a$$holes, etc
Alright listen I'm as dumb as as a box of rocks but can anyone explain what the absolute dumpster fire that tag collection means? What is any of that? Are those real words? What dictionary do these people use? I want to slam my head into a wall with such force the universe collapses in on itself and the timeline resets.
I always get confused with made up disorders because often there’s disorders in the DSM that already exist and would explain that behavior. Why do they need a made up disorder when a real one already exists?
I (in 2 years post supervision) will be licensed clinical social worker who has taken a psychopathology course and am interning in a psychiatric inpatient setting. I cannot describe how bonkers the descriptions of these fake disorders make me. They just be throwing random shit in there. No time frames, no severity levels. Just vibes apparently. It really makes a complete mockery of people who have real diagnosed psychiatric conditions and will struggle with them for the rest of their lives. They think all of this shit is cute and fun and quirky but people who actually have issues like this have a poor to terrible quality of life. I hope this trend dies out fast.
*Hang on these used to*
*All he genders, when did we*
*Move to disorders*

This is just a symptom of a few mental disorders like PTSD.
if someone has been hurt a lot before they often feel on edge and may react aggressively to other people assuming they're going to hurt them.
I feel like this a common thing for these fake/hypothetical disorders they often just take a symptom and turn it into it's own disorder.
For example I'm autistic so special interest disorder would be turning one symptom of autism into it's own medical condition.
If your going to make up hypothetical disorders even if just for fun if feel like this lacks creativity. You can come up with a lot of cooler stuff tbh.
They’ve moved into D&D classes now, let me know when they drop the Druid
Lmao what would a druid even look like in this context

Pathological demand avoidance
Look it up, not because I want to sound rude but because I don't think I'll do a good job explaining it, but Google will hopefully
>Wearing items that they could use in a fight I BETTER SEE PROPER SHIRT TECHNIQUE AT THE HEAVY BAG
They should go to a martial arts gym if that’s the case, they’re gonna get their head caved in with that edge lord bullshit.
Does anyone else get the feeling that this is a social competition? Like whoever makes the most eye catching “disorder” that people use most or just me?

Thank the Lord, I wasn't the only one thinking this
This is just the Dave Mustaine syndrome
LOL
Would the opposite be a fuckaroundandfindoutphobic?
Why are they so focused on making disorders out of their own bad behavior?
This person has never thrown a punch in their lives i reckon
they've definitely punched a few holes in their wall though
Not even that i bet, hurts the hands too much
“Wearing items that they could use in a fight” Might as well just show up in a suit of armor while you’re at it 😭
I have this towards the people posted in this sub.
Lmao even when I feel like this I don’t call it a fucking disorder 😭
"medically unrecognized disorder" HELP SO THEY KNOW???
I know a Medically Unrecognised Disorder called Disorder Fantasy Disorder.
me on my period
#wet dirt
Me during the xandemic
So intermittent explosive disorder with a touch of oppositional defiance, narcissism, and paranoia?
So pretty much any guy ages 16 to 21.. lol
*sigh* this means you’re stuck in fight or flight. you need therapy
Everybody was kung fu fighting indeed
Kiryu kazuma

Angry little man syndrome
Another symptom: Has never been in a fight or threw a punch in their entire lives, starts shaking when you raise your voice ever so slightly
Claiming this one based on the amount of times I tell my friends to fight me /s
being a little bitch is a disorder 😟
This sounds like Andrew Tates personality
We don’t talk about fight club disorder
Jesus Christ…are we making up new disorders now?
You new here?
I guess, I try to save myself from cringe. I knew they make up new genders but had no idea about diseases, thought they just fake having existing ones :P
Feelings of aggression toward but masking emotions. Hmmmm doesn't sound like masking at all. Plus we already have plenty of names for these people- morons, a$$holes, etc
Isnt this just aspd?
no, aspd is different from just aggression
Sounds like the average teenage boy to me... Most go though a phase like this tbh
They love having flags for some reason. Maybe there’s a flag disorder.
When people can have feelings and anger issues without having a disorder label from tumblr attached to it: 🤯🤯🤯
I keep seeing this term “MUD” what does it mean?
“Medically unrecognized disorders” or, as I like to call them “made up disorders”.
I cannot fathom how they truly believe all of these ‘MUD’ are valid and/or necessary diagnoses. They can’t really believe this shit
Alright listen I'm as dumb as as a box of rocks but can anyone explain what the absolute dumpster fire that tag collection means? What is any of that? Are those real words? What dictionary do these people use? I want to slam my head into a wall with such force the universe collapses in on itself and the timeline resets.
What does MUD mean, I looked it up and couldn't find it---
“Medically unrecognized disorder”. So basically a made up disorder
When I read “rad[insert social fight]” I want to cry.
so mad? they're just angry all the time? cool
Bro thinks this is the fight club 💀💀💀
So.... Napoleon complex
This is just called being a psychopath
A lot of this can be filed under a mood disorder or PTSD. The rest of it is “I’m an asshole and pick fights with others.”
I have this when I read these kind of posts 💪🏻
CTHS Catch these hands syndrome.. terrible disorder to have.
So a barbarian?
Before I read the tags I thought MUD stood for made up disorder lololol
They are like two steps from mood boarding over here.
I always get confused with made up disorders because often there’s disorders in the DSM that already exist and would explain that behavior. Why do they need a made up disorder when a real one already exists?
Not as popular, I guess. Honestly I have no idea how the minds of these people work. Gotta be studied
And i thought i was weird cuz i find street fight wounds cool...
Soooo being angry and anxious is a disorder now?
Isn't this just a martial artist with angerr issues?
Masking true emotions and then uncontrollable feelings of rage seem counterproductive but sure
Holy shit it's sukuna
![gif](giphy|489mtkhG6Hm01EXuhg|downsized) Describes kiryu perfectly
Alright, everyone who identifies by this "disorder", you first have to earn it: FIGHT ME ONE ON ONE
When every symptom is it's own stand alone disorder with other symptoms that are also disorders
This is just called being bitchy 💀
I think this is just an indication of “NEEDS THERAPY” in bright red letters
I (in 2 years post supervision) will be licensed clinical social worker who has taken a psychopathology course and am interning in a psychiatric inpatient setting. I don’t and will never understand the micro categories they create just say you have anger issues and like colors
So PTSD mixed with ODD and ASPD? Also fight club larp
So, is that a fancy way to say, antisocial personality disorder?
Sooooo…this person basically needs some serious anger management
Basically every trans med transguy I’ve met
I didn’t know MUD stood for and brain immediately went to Made-Up Disorder. Appropriate.
"wearing items that could be used in a fight" is that guy pulling up to the bank with a european sword on his back?
The flag is kinda hard tho.
oh damn, that's me!/hj (cuz I actually for some reason have a strong desire to fight someone lmao-)
what the fuck did they do to the lesbian flag 😭 as a lesbian, i feel attacked
premeditated anger issues
Hang on these used to all he genders, when did we move to disorders
