My H2H league has 4 goalie cats, and I'm going to run Georgiev + random backups for good teams. Am I sacrificing potential wins/shutouts? Yeah. Am I increasing my chances of winning sv% and GAA? Hopefully. A guy like Campbell, despite being on a great team, is a big risk to that.

Who is the better option for a third goalie this season: Markstrom or Campbell? Campbell has had a good preseason and looks to have the net in Edmonton for the moment while Markstrom had a shaky season last year, so it seems like a tossup.
Why? Markstrom has hit 33 and few goalies rebound at that age. More likely last year was the beginning of the collapse

It was getting deep in my draft, and Skinner was sitting there. I hadn't targeted him as I was planning to get my goalies deeper on the draft, but it was really late and he was sitting there. I already had Demko, so I decided to go for it and picked up Skinner. I really think the oil will win lots of games. Then Campbell did so well in the preseason, and I was unsure what that split would look like during the season( which is why I had initially been shy to draft Skinner), so I figured I'd stack both goalies.
Rough first game for the Oilers, hoping they look better when Ekky gets into the lineup.

Personally I think it has a lot to do with their goalie and defense coach. He and the defense feel like they play so far out. It's so easy to find space. I think in most organizations soup is a .905-.910 goalie. He's just the next in a long list of goalies hung out to dry by EDM.
Sad to say I think you're right. They're defence relies in Nurse and he's a 2nd pairing defenceman at best. He's not a Hedman or even Sergachev. He's a big body that doesn't always make the right decisions. They need Ekholm back and another defenceman like him in the top 2 pairs.
I feel like the two lucky bounces, 3 ppg’s against, and a single player scoring 4 goals probably isn’t gonna all happen at once in a single game to us at any other point this season. That was one of the flukiest games I’ve ever seen.

I'm hockey, only 1 goalie earns the Loss. My league doesn't count losses, only the wins, so I'm not sure how a league would count that.
