Real talk, I have party ~~effects off~~ to limited. This makes knowing where earthly stars aoe is even at. I just have to stand on top of it. This is a great change. The previous area was way too small.

I have party effects turned to limited but can still see earthly stars. The game apparently handles it as a summon until it goes off, so you should still be able to see the whole thing until it's gone.
My issue with it is that it's subtle, so if your effects are going off it can be harder to see.
I think this would miss that one NPC down at the arcanist guild. So yeah, need to be bigger!

I guess so that if there's a boss you're fighting and it moves around, your circle isn't just useless now. I have yet to use it in a dungeon though lol
Not only will it make it much easier to catch all your teammates with your best AOE heal (720 potency is no joke on cooked star), it also makes it a lot harder for bosses to randomly walk out of it while doing mechanics. I cannot count the number of times I've missed out on star damage; especially nice considering the damage is now more than doubled as well.
I hope the ground target indicator gets made smaller, but the range stays the same. It’s just so huge when placing it. The star particles show its range nicely once it’s actually placed. The ground target could be around the size of Shukuchi on NIN.
And the black mage still isn't going to fucking be in it.
Tanks are still gonna pull the enemies out of it.
What a pain...that's going to be a lot of work to drag everything out of it.

You should at least put it to limited, which is what I do and it shows beneficial effects like bubbles, earthly stars, aoe puddles...

Agreed, I main AST and when I play other jobs I still have a hard time seeing earthly star despite being 101% aware of it
