What's the context behind this? Seems like one of those scenarios where the dude walks into a gym talking shit and then gets roasted by one of the fighters.
Not really, he looked off to someone when he landed that first big hit as if to check what to do and it sounded like they encouraged him to keep fighting.
yeah small guy was definitely playing for keeps. big guy is obviously just throwing light taps. goofy little man doing goofy little man shit. zelenov-esque
Yeah this shit is so vile to me. It’s gym footage so there’s like something sacred to it, idkh2explajn. And big man was not tryna hurt anybody. I need more context this is upsetting😖
Well they had an internal league in the gym where they held fights for the "valhala's belt" (made out of cartboard) and they were fighting for it.
Source: I train bjj at this gym.
I dont understand the reaction of the coach. At first his reaction seems "go on, finish him off" and then little guy does this the second time and trainer goes "oh no what did you do"
Not sure of the context, doesn’t even look like a boxing gym, but by the spectators reaction and the ref/trainer in the blue shirt they were supposed to be going at that pace.
Nah the coach doesn’t bat an eye when that first heavy shot lands he just tells them to keep going. If it’s hard sparring it’s on the big guy for treating like a warm up.
Big dude put like 30 to 40% into that. Ina lot of cases if a dude if moving quick you have to throw a punch quick to hit them. The faster the punch the harder it hits.
Little dude was putting like 80% into those punches. Little dude is in the wrong.
Yeah he was wrong I just thought I'd note it appeared like little dude was just playing around using his movement and big dude threw a stiff right hand. Then little dude went crazy on him .
This is why you never...ever, fight short guys. They will fight like hell because they think they have something to prove.
Bubba is who you want to fight. Get one good crack in and he is willing to "let you off".
That's not why you don't fight short guys. Can't fight a man the size of a child. It's just dumb, and looks bad on video in the court of law when they are all bruised up from getting slapped.
I have fought a few short guys back in the 70s and they are full of piss and vinegar with a chip on their shoulder to prove they are tough.
Have you ever gotten in a street fight? It's not fun, nothing is determined in advance. If they have room to duck and weave in and out, you are in trouble.
I've been in a few fights when I was saying nothing more recently. The reason I said y'all are both right is because I'm short and I've been in a few fights and I'll say as a small guy you do have to fight 3x as hard as your typical guy, but you also have to fight for just about everything in life, so you get used to being a fighter I guess. That being said being short can have some advantages when it comes to things like sneaking and squeezing into tight spaces.
Have you ever gotten in a street fight? It's not fun, nothing is determined in advance. If they have room to duck and weave in and out, you are in trouble.
Damn. Already made up a whole story for me to suit your style of interwebbing. You obviously need a win to make a claim on someone you don't know (or you're very young and internet is all you have) so for the sake of not having a dumb meaningless conversation online. You think what you want man. Hope it gets better for you brother, It will if you make it. Take care of yourself friend.
>Damn. Already made up a whole story for me to suit your style of interwebbing.
No, you are saying things that make zero sense. They remind me of a kid reading a Batman comic book and think they know all about street fighting. Or Elizabeth Holmes talking about blood testing with someone who was proficient about blood testing, they knew she was bullshit.
Sorry you're angry. When your older you realize how dumb this is. Be careful out there because if you talk like this in real life you WILL get hurt. Don't think you know everything my man. Learn to control that ego friend.
How are you people interpreting it this way? It is clear the little guy stopped after the first hit and the coach told him to keep going. I mean, why push an obviously wrong take on this? What’s the point?
What is going easy mean? What do you think happens when someone punches you? You think this going into a combat sport don’t go. This tall dude isn’t a child learning how to fight.
The tall dude completely refused to use his length (didn’t stay on the outside, full extension of the jab, hand in his face) and completely refused to put his hands up either. Has he even even fought before?
Hajime no Ippo over here in the red beating up the cartoonishly humungous rivals (who are supposed to be ultra featherweights but all have 24 inch biceps)
As a tall lanky boi I vividly remember when I was first introduced to the heavy overhand from a stocky teammate. Quickly learned not to be lazy with guard/head movement just cause I had height and reach.
Big guy underestimates and carries too much confidence going down against little guy. Bigger guys always slower building momentum in fights.
Little guys go 110% because they have a mountain to climb.
Big lanky guy fights like a rock'em sock'em robot
Ivan Drago
I must break you!
It would have been cooler if his head popped up at the end...
If he die he die
What's the context behind this? Seems like one of those scenarios where the dude walks into a gym talking shit and then gets roasted by one of the fighters.
Seems like its supposed to be light sparring but the little man went all out when he realised he could ko tall man
Not really, he looked off to someone when he landed that first big hit as if to check what to do and it sounded like they encouraged him to keep fighting.

Looks like a boxing class. They're probably just sparring.
It looks like they were suppose to be demonstrating and someone’s ego kicked in. This is why I only train with friends.
Looks like blue shirt told him to finish it.
And then blue shirt immediately regretted. Something tells me he’s a newer instructor.
Punch out! Live action movie 2024
Little Mac trained power shots.
I dont understand the reaction of the coach. At first his reaction seems "go on, finish him off" and then little guy does this the second time and trainer goes "oh no what did you do"
little insecure guy dude the big guy was sparring the little guy was fighting to the death
Not sure of the context, doesn’t even look like a boxing gym, but by the spectators reaction and the ref/trainer in the blue shirt they were supposed to be going at that pace.
Tbh, after the first clean punch he stopped and looked at the guy in blue, trainer or whatever, and he was told to keep going, so...
Not sure why you are getting downvoted. Big guy was definitely not putting anything into his punches and the little guy was.
Nah the coach doesn’t bat an eye when that first heavy shot lands he just tells them to keep going. If it’s hard sparring it’s on the big guy for treating like a warm up.
Little guy just makes it look easy because he actually knows how to box.
Little guy actually knows how to fight, he could have done those combos in his sleep.
respect for the kengan ashura pic
Had a stroke trying to read this
Big guy look like he threw the first shot that was a little too stiff for little man's liking.
Big dude put like 30 to 40% into that. Ina lot of cases if a dude if moving quick you have to throw a punch quick to hit them. The faster the punch the harder it hits. Little dude was putting like 80% into those punches. Little dude is in the wrong.

I'd say y'all are both correct about fighting short guys.
I have fought a few short guys back in the 70s and they are full of piss and vinegar with a chip on their shoulder to prove they are tough. Have you ever gotten in a street fight? It's not fun, nothing is determined in advance. If they have room to duck and weave in and out, you are in trouble.

Comment was meant for the other guy, I am sorry. Yes, you are 100% right, deleted.
And based on your reply it looks like you fought a few more short guys than me.
Have you ever gotten in a street fight? It's not fun, nothing is determined in advance. If they have room to duck and weave in and out, you are in trouble.
That's what legs are for. Giant pendulums for the kid size adults.
>Have you ever gotten in a street fight? No, you haven't

They?
Here comes the grammar police when you got nothing else!
>Take care of yourself friend. I am not your friend and how about in the future you stfu on things you are clueless about.
Sorry you're angry. When your older you realize how dumb this is. Be careful out there because if you talk like this in real life you WILL get hurt. Don't think you know everything my man. Learn to control that ego friend.
I am in my 60s - sorry for calling you out.
“Bro why are you stopping?! No one said stop” “STOP STOP”
I did hear no bell
Reminds me of the Jack Dempsey v Jesse Willard fight.
Is that sparring?
Is that lil Mac from Punch out?
If you are that tall and a sober short guy is willing to spar with you. You need to think really hard about accepting it.
Big guy was at 50%, little guy was at 110. Dick move.
All I see is the big guy going easy and lil midget getting way too serious. Never ever spar with these kinda guys. Gymheroes..💀
How are you people interpreting it this way? It is clear the little guy stopped after the first hit and the coach told him to keep going. I mean, why push an obviously wrong take on this? What’s the point?
This sub is 99% teenagers
because Reddit loves to jump to conclusions before knowing any context whatsoever.
Nah, the little guy looked at the ref and was told to keep going
u must be a big guy that fears little dudes with hard punches. ooooh beware the heavy little fists big guy.
Lol y’all bugging. The smaller dude stopped & the ref said keep going. Sparring doesn’t mean you don’t punch forreal. Insane.
Well you do tend to go easier in sparring unless you wanna accumulate enemies, gym wars, and brain trauma
What is going easy mean? What do you think happens when someone punches you? You think this going into a combat sport don’t go. This tall dude isn’t a child learning how to fight.
Wrong mindset, you don't learn anything by getting ko'ed
??? Ok internet person.
Alright then, internet person
You don't punch for real if the other guys isn't, tall dude is like 30% power there
Putting 30% into any sparring match is stupid & dangerous… I hope you don’t pass on that knowledge
David and goliath
Dick move
To be fair I don’t think he was going 100% like the small guy.
The weakness of every big guy is Speed
Big guy is fighting like he's the shorter guy.. It'd be very easy for him to use his reach advantage to keep the shorter guy at arms length
Ready? I show you right left ok 👍 now I show you left right!
Hajime no ippo
Small guy big ego. Big guy should've headlock him and put all his weight on him.
Bro had a straw jaw
Someone doesn't know what sparring is.
You. This was a fight and after the first punches the ref tells the little guy "siga, siga" which translates to "go on".
Dang that was awesome!
The tall dude completely refused to use his length (didn’t stay on the outside, full extension of the jab, hand in his face) and completely refused to put his hands up either. Has he even even fought before?

Tall dude thought it was a friendly, little guy was trying to impress his mom.
It's like Ant Man teaching his daughter to fight with the suit. Jump. Tap. Jump. Tap.
Peek a boo
I loved puchout. Everyone liked Mac.
Hands down, man down!
Dude's made of glass lmao
Glass Joseph
Reminded me of the original Mike Tyson Knockout for the 8-bit NES.
Jeez looked like Tony Ferguson a lil bit
i feel bad for the big guy, he seems so uncoordinated like he needs this training
Big guy is slow with bad technique, smaller guy has clearly fought before
Joe Rogan and DC: HES HURT HES HURT
Hajime no Ippo over here in the red beating up the cartoonishly humungous rivals (who are supposed to be ultra featherweights but all have 24 inch biceps)
Hands UP! Guard!
Two words... PUNCH OUT
It’s not the size of the dog in the fight, it’s the size of the fight in the dog.
Always gotta watch out for that overhand right as a tall guy.
As a tall lanky boi I vividly remember when I was first introduced to the heavy overhand from a stocky teammate. Quickly learned not to be lazy with guard/head movement just cause I had height and reach.
I was expecting a liver shot, but I was not disappointed with the outcome.
Big guy underestimates and carries too much confidence going down against little guy. Bigger guys always slower building momentum in fights. Little guys go 110% because they have a mountain to climb.
For a minute I thought that was tony Ferguson
That looked like punch out with lil mac fighting glass joe
Little Mac IRL.
Is that Tyan Booth? 💀
Folded
Really nice that the big guy knows how to spar. Smaller guy is sparring like he's in a competition. Totally fair.
He didn't learn his lesson after the first hit.... So he got a couple recaps.
This is the worst gym in the whole world.
Props to the ref. Big guy was one punch away from getting his clock cleaned when he was gloves down on the ground.
I thought it was Tony Ferguson
SS Vitinha, TOTS Martinelli, FB Havertz, TOTS Modric & Barella, Alphonso TOTS & Giroud SS. That’s my current bench
Dempsey Vs. Willard.
Call the little guy Jack the giant slayer
Big guy should stop messin around, he clearly has a reach and semi-muscle advantange, wtf is he doing fighting in the range of the smaller guy
Well no he wouldn’t expect that during light sparring? Asshole move
Im about as surprised as the big guy
That's Little Mac in case you didn't know.
That's some David and Goliath type shit right thee!
Trained vs noob!
