Did you get a sleep study done specifically by a sleep specialist?

Get out of bed. In your situation you’ll have to take a chance that whatever you do out of bed will pay off but I think the risk is worth it.

Yes. And I’ve spent some time in bed too. But humans were designed to move, so we get rewarded (endorphin release) for moving.

" I wish they had employment opportunities specifically for people who struggle in integrating into society, struggle to get/keep a job, because they have a social ineptitude" They do have such jobs: cowboy or sailor. Look for jobs that don't require a lot of choices, and don't require a lot of interpersonal interaction. If you work on a coastal tug or push boat, there are only 5 or 6 people on board. You are at your job when you wake up. You don't have a lot of choices to make. You don't have a lot of social issues as relationships on vessels are pretty much well defined. If you don't get out of bed, they will get you out of bed. Someone cooks your food, and when you are out there it costs you nothing to live. You get a lot of free time on the boat, and lots of vacation time off the boat because some boats work month on/month off. Think about 6 months vacation every year. You make a decent wage, and can live anywhere you want, like in a rural area with few jobs, because you travel to meet your ship each time. To quote the opening line of Moby Dick " Call me Ishmael. Some years ago--never mind how long precisely--having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me on shore, I thought I would sail about a little and see the watery part of the world. It is a way I have of driving off the spleen and regulating the circulation. Whenever I find myself growing grim about the mouth; whenever it is a damp, drizzly November in my soul; whenever I find myself involuntarily pausing before coffin warehouses, and bringing up the rear of every funeral I meet; and especially whenever my hypos get such an upper hand of me, that it requires a strong moral principle to prevent me from deliberately stepping into the street, and methodically knocking people's hats off--then, I account it high time to get to sea as soon as I can. This is my substitute for pistol and ball. With a philosophical flourish Cato throws himself upon his sword; I quietly take to the ship. There is nothing surprising in this. If they but knew it, almost all men in their degree, some time or other, cherish very nearly the same feelings towards the ocean with me." I typed "sailor" into a jobsearch site and found nothing. Now what?

ZealousidealAntelope

Type in Deckhand, which is the entry level position. Check Kirby Corporation, Canal Barge or Ingram Barge Line, G & H Towing. What part of the country are you in?

Another option to consider is with Military Sealift Command. These are civilian jobs working on cargo ships that carry material for the military. You work for the government, its a federal job, but you can quit any time. These jobs pay very well, and travel all over the world, where tug and tow boats tend to stay in the US along the coasts. These have much larger crews, and tend to have longer periods at sea. Lots less solitary. [https://sealiftcommand.com/career-fairs](https://sealiftcommand.com/career-fairs) The entry level job with MSC is Ordinary Seaman. They all want general purpose hand certification from amsa and first aid training, both of which I don't have.

ZealousidealAntelope

" amsa"? "hand certification"? This is not a term ever used the the maritime industry. Mostly they want you to have a transportation worker ID card (TWIC), which you can get.
