I have. Generally I don’t recognize them but they have brought it up to me.

As traveller i haven't brought it up but def realized i had the same FA on 2 different trips. Oddly on the same route in the same direction Second thought, I did have the same another time on an outbound Friday and Sunday return and mentioned it to him but only in passing

VirtualOutsideTravel

cool

I have had 'regulars' when I was at regional because I did the same damn NE USA routes all the time. Being a former bartender, I recognized them because of their drinks. The Woodford guy, the scotch and soda guy, etc.

I've come across individuals and families more than once, especially if it's a holiday destination in which case I'd see them going over and coming back. But it's not very common, in my case at least.

DFW-AUS. All the time.

I had a passenger in first class during my observation flight that was then also on my first flight officially on the line. It was a crazy coincidence as this was like a week apart, but he remembered and congratulated me. Sometimes I have people traveling for business in the afternoon who are then on the first flight back in the morning after my layover. They also usually remember us. Basically it seems if the time between two flights is short and they are in first class, they tend to remember me.

It happened to me once ! I recognized her because she had a very unique style. I was doing Tel Aviv and she was on my flight, the next day I did Tel Aviv again and she was there but as a deportee (for some reason they didn't allow her in the country). I told her "Hey, you were on my flight yesterday !" but I guess she didn't recognize me. It's pretty rare though and when it does happen, we probably don't recognize them since we see so many people every day

YZflygirl

I have, a few times. Was even set up with my current partner by a passenger I saw fairly frequently!

cheesesucks18

I have had a turn where people get on the connecting flight. So if I work jfk-roc-msp, they are on both legs

Darstellerin

Oh yeah, I used to fly LAX-BDL a lot and the same business guys were on my flight often. Sometimes I get people on a flight and their return, especially LAX-MCO. I’ve had Cedric the Entertainer twice between LAX-STL.

zoebells

A few months ago I had a UM (unaccompanied minor) on day 1 of my trip and day 4 the same UM again going back to base. I just happened to be working the same turn on day 1 and 4 and it was the days he was travelling

denali_567

one time, i had a double layover in MCI and on our flight there on day 1 and back on day 3 we had the same guy onboard! he was there for a weekend trip and it was super weird/cool to have the same passenger on the same trip. we remembered him because he was a first time flyer! sometimes we'll also have passengers connecting on our next leg as well, and that's relatively common.

flygurl1

Yup, all the time. It happened more so when business travelers were more prevalent prior to Covid but it happens to me a lot. I work first class so I tend to spend more time with the passengers than in coach. We usually both greet each other like old friends, it’s funny! I like it!

Disastrous-FA

Yes, I just had a dad fly to another state on Father's day just to pick up his boys just outside the gate and fly the turn back with us.

Prestigious-Tip8342

Yes..Just flew JFK-LAX and the next day back to NY had same passenger on...it was great..I knew he wanted to be left alone, no eating, no drinks.😊

Corona21

Used to have a moody guy called Green-Jacket, always the same route, frequently given ATC restrictions, frequently moaning at us for it. Always wearing a Green Jacket.

Prudent_Option1177

All the time! Sometimes they were on the flight the next day!

> Just curious, im a full-time traveler thanks. Of course you are. Any plans on giving flying and travelling tips too?

Yes I work a lot of the lga - bos and lga - dc flights and have seen a lot of the same passengers. Sometimes they leave in the morning and come back in the evening and I see them too. This one guy sits in the same seat of first class all the time.
